Chapter 94 GISELLE, WE DONT NEED YOU ANYMORE

Chapter 94 GISELLE, WE DONT NEED YOU ANYMORE
Giselle stared at the stack of documents and gritted her teeth, but she refused to kick them down. She didn’t blame Erica, if she were her, she would surely cut every deal off with her.

She instead bit down on her lips, letting the blood slip out softly. Small drops fell to the ground as she walked into her home.

\[Six million, and I’ll help you\] Her phone dinged and she reached out. Seeing the message, her eyes brightened. Although she was a top actress, six million cost her like an arm and a leg… her net worth was barely a hundred million. She sighed and replied, \[Sure\].

In that second, she sent every little detail and slipped into her room. The hacker told her in ten minutes everything would be cleared so she had been staring at the news for hours, waiting for a freaking miracle and by miracle, she meant the hacker she paid.

After switching to the tenth channel, Giselle groaned, stood up, moved to the fridge, and brought out strawberry ice cream. She scooped it into her mouth, smirking and laughing like a maniac.

Suddenly—

“Hello everyone, I’m Yan. Earlier today, a new video surfaced regarding the ongoing scandal involving award-winning actress Giselle. As the situation continued to escalate, this latest development appears to shift the narrative. According to current reports, the video in question has been identified as manipulated.”

Suddenly, the edited video played. A different female face was poorly placed over hers. Giselle smiled, her lips widening, but then everything turned sour as the video glitched.

She froze. The screen changed, and her chat with the hacker was displayed. The reporter stared in shock.

“It appears that everything may have been a deliberate fabrication. Newly surfaced messages between actress Giselle and an unidentified party have just emerged online, revealing what seems to be an attempt to pay her way out of the situation.”

Staring at the image, Giselle finally understood, she was screwed.

Her phone on the couch began to ding. Messages from fans and ambassadors flooded in. Giselle froze, then finally moved. She picked up her phone and a call from her agency.

"What did you do? Couldn’t you let us handle this?"

"I really didn’t send that?" Giselle muttered softly. Her voice shook, sounding broken, making the figure on the other end sigh.

"Stay low for now. We’ll try everything we can!" the voice said.

Giselle froze. When any agency said stay low and enjoy your free days, it meant one thing to an actor or actress: suspension, or worse, termination.

"You are leaving me behind?" she asked.

On the other end, the figure rolled their eyes. "Miss, we really don’t need this! You should have stayed low-key then. This isn’t our problem!" The voice turned cold.

"Carter fvcking paid you guys… He invested in that company, and so did I. How can you be this heartless!" She broke down in fake sobs, but she only heard a hiss before the call disconnected.

Staring at the blank screen, Giselle wiped her tears. She went back to the messages with the hacker and deleted everything.

She stared at the number and sent it to her boss….

She sat down on the couch, staring blankly at the screen.

Erica’s words screamed in her ears, and a manic laughter escaped her lips. She roughly ran her hands through her hair and tossed the remote at the screen.

Suddenly, her phone rang again. She picked up.

"What!" she yelled, and then she heard a soft laughter that sounded familiar.

"Giselle, are you okay? You sound troubled," the voice mocked.

Giselle gritted her teeth.

"Freya, what do you want?" she went straight to the point, and Freya sighed.

"See? Your life is falling apart… but it’s still too early. I want everything to be leaked!" Freya said from the other end.

Giselle laughed.

"Bringing me down? Do you think it’s easy?" she said arrogantly, and Freya chuckled.

"You will rot in hell, and I’ll watch you burn! That fame, that praise, that wealth, it will all burn with you," she said. Giselle’s gaze darkened.

"I’ll kill you!" Giselle screamed, and Freya’s soft chuckle echoed.

"You killed my sister, and my mum’s last resources were burned to the ground. Do you really think you would get away with everything you did…?" She paused, then laughed.

"Enjoy—"

"Your sister was a whore. She deserved to die. I was really happy she jumped from that building. A shameless whore like her, showing her body to others, fvcking disgusting… Did you know how much she screamed when Carter and Henry took turns fvcking her?" Giselle said cruelly, knowing fully well Freya was seething in anger.

"You bitch! How can you talk about a dead person that way!" Freya yelled, out of control.

Giselle’s laughter echoed.

"Dead? Freya… even in death, your sister will never be free from my hold."

"You bitch!" Freya yelled, breaking down into tears.

Giselle rolled her eyes. "Be careful. If I find you, you will be next," she said softly and ended the call.

She stared at the TV and crossed her legs coldly. She would find whoever was ruining her and end them in cold blood, her dark eyes said it all.

But then, unknown to Giselle, a message popped up:

\[Didn’t know you look sexy high on drugs\]. With an image attached.

ERICA’S OFFICE

Erica stared at the male standing in front of her and gently tossed the envelope filled with cash to him.

"Good job," Erica said, and the male smirked.

He was the same man who had slept with Giselle recently. He had recorded everything Giselle did and handed it over to Erica, who had watched it and smirked.

The male turned to leave but paused.

"But Miss Erica, what do you need the video for?" he asked.

Erica’s smile widened, making him shiver. "You don’t need to know anything," her cold reply came.

He nodded in understanding and left. The moment the door closed… it opened again.

Erica was already waiting, tapping her fingers on the desk, staring at the door with a smile.

"Welcome, have a seat," Erica said.

Cassandra stepped in and walked forward, placing some documents on the table.

Erica’s eyes grazed over them, and she raised a brow. "What are these?"

Cassandra scoffed. "Why did you approach me?" she asked.

Erica chuckled softly. "You owed me," she said.

Cassandra sighed. "Do you just want me to catch Ricvo Morretti? Or is there more?" she asked.

Erica nodded, then paused.

"You took Emily and Jolie at the hospital that day, didn’t you?" Cassandra asked softly.

Erica’s eyes brightened. "Bingo! Smart. I knew I could trust you," Erica said.

Cassandra still looked confused. "Why?" she asked softly.

Erica’s smile stretched. "It’s called manipulation, Cas."

At that moment, the door opened again.

Jolie walked in, dressed in a suit, heels higher than usual, her hair tied into a neat ponytail, a smile curled on her lips.

"Miss, you still look as pretty as ever," she said softly.

Cassandra turned to stare at Jolie, indeed Erica had sent those men to take them. She couldn’t help but sigh in relief, yet her heart remained troubled.

What game are you playing, Erica?
