Chapter 48 FIRST LOVE

Chapter 48 FIRST LOVE
ARON’S POV

I rested my head against the back of my chair, my thoughts circling about her again.

The way she annoyed me. The way she provoked me, made me just want to shut her up provocatively.

My eyes snapped open.

Celina stood there.

Her furious eyes were locked on me.

“How dare you?” she screamed, rising from her seat and storming toward me. “I was your first love. How dare you forget me and think about her!”

My jaw clenched as I breathed heavily. A menacing laugh spilled from her lips.

She grabbed the documents on my desk and tore them apart.

I couldn’t move. My legs were frozen.

“I died because you couldn’t make me stay alive,” she whispered, gripping my collar.
“Just like how you killed your mother.”

The rage inside me exploded—Celina could say that one thing but never this, yet I was stuck with the negative side of her, the one that ruins me in my sleep and even my fucking day. Like a ticking time-bomb that would never leave or fade.

Knock. Knock.

The sound ripped me out of my thoughts. Although I hid my clenched fist behind my desk.

I licked my lips and stared at the door as it opened before I could answer.

I froze.

Erica.

Was she awake or I'm I hallucinating again, like with Celina?

She stepped inside, clutching a blanket tightly around herself.

“Are you okay?” she asked softly.

My body finally unlocked. I looked away instantly.

The documents were intact. No ripped pages. No ghost.

“You should be resting,” I said coldly.

“I didn’t want to stay alone,” she replied, glancing around my office. “It’s… wide.”

My gaze dropped to her lips as she licked them unconsciously. Moist. Soft. Made me want to slam mine into hers.

I tore my eyes away.

“Leave,” I said sharply.

Her eyes flashed with curiosity. “How did you save me?” she asked. “Why did you save me?”

I chuckled darkly. “I was on a mission. You delayed me.”

She smiled.

Why was she happy about that?

She stepped closer, her fingers brushing my desk. I noticed the bruises: still red, still raw.

Bloodlust surged.

I should’ve cut his dick off and handed it to her as a gift.

And part of me blamed myself. If I had arrived earlier, she wouldn’t have almost died.

Three days. She woke up from a coma in three days.

I tilted my head, then froze.

Her face was inches from mine. “What’s on your mind?” she asked.

“Get the fvck out,” I spat.

“No,” she said calmly. “I won’t.”

She adjusted my collar gently. That simple touch froze me.

She smelled like flowers and sunlight: soft, yet dangerous.

“It wasn’t your fault,” she whispered. “Stop blaming yourself.”

My eyes locked onto her lips.

I wanted to slam them against mine. Silence her. Make her moan.

'You betrayer!' Celina screamed in my head.

I grabbed Erica’s wrist.

“What are you doing?” I growled.

“You punish yourself too much,” she said, smiling.

A bitter laugh escaped me. “You know nothing about me.”

I shoved her aside slightly.

“Be gentle,” she muttered. “I just woke up from a coma.”

She bent over my desk. Her singlet barely covered her breasts.

I stared.

Didn’t even hide it.

“If you want to fvck me,” she said calmly, “you can just say it.”

No bra.

Her nipples were hard.

“I invited you last time,” I said coldly. “You were scared, little bee.”

She laughed. The strap of her singlet slipped down her arm.

My cock hardened.

Fvck.

This never happened.

After Celina died, women meant nothing. Sex never crossed my mind. I was still a virgin. Doctors called me broken, he even tagged me as gay.

Erica noticed my stare. Slowly, she lifted the strap back up.

“If you’re trying to seduce me,” I said quietly, eyes locked on her. “It’s working, little bee.”

She scoffed. “I can have any man I want. Who would want you?”

“When I’m inside that wet pussy of yours,” I replied calmly, “I doubt you’ll still be talking.”

Her ears burned red.

“Have some shame!” she snapped.

“Shame?” I chuckled. “I would fvck you on camera and enjoy every second.”

Her teeth clenched.

“When did you become so cruel?” she snapped. “How was Celina even your friend? She’s dead now—”

“Shut it,” I growled.

My father’s voice echoed in my head: Forget her. She’s dust.

“Who do you think you are?” I snapped.

She didn’t flinch.

“Are you really that obsessed with her?” she asked.

I stood abruptly, the chair crashing behind me.

I walked toward her.

She backed up, until I trapped her against the wall.

No space.

“Erica,” I said quietly, “have you ever been in love?”

She froze.

“She was the light in my darkness,” I continued.

“The air I breathed. My escape from misery.”

I gripped her arm tightly and forced her to meet my eyes.

“She was my fvcking soul.”

My chest burned.

They all said she wasn’t worth it They belittled her.

That alone made me want to kill.

“She was my first love,” I said coldly. “So watch how you speak about her. If you bad-mouth her again—”

My voice dropped. “I won’t hesitate to kill you.”

I expected fear, a little tremble or perhaps for her to tear her gaze away but she didn't entertain me with that!

Erica’s eyes widened, but it was with shock in them.

“First… love?” she whispered, her pupils dilated.
