It was just the two of us inside the room. Hannah was in a wheelchair, a little space away from me, like she was keeping her distance in case I tried anything.
“You really don't know how much I hate you, Selena.” She glared red as she had cried. Her hand was wrapped around a gun.
Why was she here?
If she could get here so quickly, did it mean Theo was close by? Then he could still be rescued?
“If it wasn't because of you, Theo wouldn't be battling for his life now.” She swallowed. “Then I won't have to betray him because he hurt me…I won't have to give every detail on how to get him to an enemy. If only Theo had left you alone…You are the cause of everything.”
She betrayed Theo…she was the reason he was where he was now. I held the fabric of my clothes tightly and opened the box.
I needed her close to me but that didn't seem possible. But I knew what to do.
“I have always tried not to hate you, Hannah.”
She raised her brow. “What?”
I lowered my voice. “But I do now,” I whispered, glaring at her and that seemed to have pricked at her skin.
She pushed the wheelchair closer and I didn't wait. Any mistake would lead her to pull the trigger against my head and I wasn't ready to take that..
I took out four of the pins and jumped on her, pushing the pins inside her neck.
“Are you sick?” She yelled and pushed me off herself. Her hands covered her neck in horror.
She pointed at me.
Please…I need you to work immediately..please.
“What did you do?” Hannah yelled, and the gun fell from her hands.
It worked. I jumped off the bed.
“Where…where.”
My eyes widened in horror as her neck twisted to the side and then she started vibrating…
“Fucking bitch.” I cursed, not bothering to watch her.
I picked the gun from the floor, unwrapped the rest of the pins, and held their heads.
“What’s happened?” A knock sounded from the door and I froze. Hannah yelling must have alerted them.
I pulled myself up, and moved behind the door, my heart beating fast…

The door opened, and without thinking much, I launched and stabbed the head that moved in.
“You…you..” He collapsed.
I smirked. After having his gun on my head for the past hours, it was great seeing him fall.

“Drop everything in your hands or else I’ll blow you out.”
I froze at the person in front of me with a gun. The one in control of the phone.
It was the end. I won't be able to save Theo anymore… this was it.
I dropped the gun in my hand and slowly looked up, my hands in the air.
He looked at the dead bodies on the floor.
“I knew you were no good.” He cocked his gun and I closed my eyes.
“Too bad I can't kill you… Move now..” He moved aside, crafting space for me to walk in…

What of Halley? Where was she?
Maybe it was better this way. It was. Me being able to see him one more time and die with him is more of a happy ending.

A loud bang of a gunshot sounded from behind me, then something dropped heavily.
I flinched, turned around with fear gripping my skin. And then..
Josh had a gun in his hand. He smiled.
“Hello, sister.”
I watched the news on the TV over and over again.
Theo being pushed into the sea.
It wasn't real.
I held my head close to my knees. I was cold. I had been cold since I saw the news.
I had tried calling Rayan, Ethan, anyone I could get in contact with, but no one was available.
They were all making me go crazy. Why was no one answering me? Why was it like all of them had suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth?
I didn't want to believe it. I couldn't. It wasn't possible….
But I saw Theo being beaten. I saw him on the screen.

“It hurts.” I cried, tears flowing down my cheeks, my sight now blurring.

“You can't keep being this way, Selena. You are hurting yourself.”
I turned to the side at Halley’s voice, Josh stood beside her. I smiled and placed my legs

“I can't say I understand what you are going through right now, but you have to believe it. It has been three days..”
My brows drew together.
What does she mean that it has been three days? Didn't everything happen a few minutes ago?
“You are hurting yourself, Selena. You are pregnant so your body is more vulnerable now..Please stop doing this, you are scaring us…”
I covered my eyes with my arm. Now that she said so, her eyes seemed reddened and swollen, so as Josh. Josh looked so dispirited. I guess it’s true that Theo was no more..

“Please, Selena!” I glanced at Halley’s as she suddenly yelled.

I looked down at my wear. It was indeed the same outfit. But why can't I remember anything?
“You have refused to eat something nutritious for yourself. All you do is stare at the TV. Are you really going to kill yourself? What of the baby? That’s the only being that still has Theo.”

I felt a knot twist in my brain, and a my responded an ache.
“What..what do you mean by that?” But I was perfectly fine.
How come I couldn't remember? I pushed my body up, only to groan. I felt fixed, I couldn't move.
Something was wrong with me. I pushed further. My head was banging, my sight was blurred and then I got a relief in my legs.
I could move. I took a step…but it was all in my imagination because a burst of pain exploded all over my body, a loud screeching noise filled my ears followed by screams of my name.
