Forty One

The next day Dionne woke up feeling bad. He was dizzy when he came out of his room. She couldn't see her baby Denise and she didn't know where Lennox had taken her. So he slowly went down the stairs and went straight to the kitchen. She intends to drink hot soup or maybe she will drink coffee. But when she entered, there was already a bowl on the table with hot soup. When she looked, it turned out to be boiled vegetables. So she immediately sat down and started sipping the soup. A little while later, Lennox entered the kitchen without a smile. smile It seems that he is angry with her that she is not doing anything wrong here.

"What? Do you have a problem with me?" Dionne asked.

Her stubborn attitude came out because she was still jealous. She seems to want to hit this man but it's embarrassing because she has no right.

"Yes. Because you are too stubborn. You include your daughter in your problem," he answered angrily.

So she raised her eyebrows.

"What are you angry about? Nothing happened to Denise if she is your concern," he teased, raising his voice.

"Damn, you! If you don't want me to worry, you shouldn't have lived here at home," Lennox also shouted.

He could feel her anger towards him. But she did not become a mother to neglect her child.

"That's it? So we're leaving here. We don't need you anymore," Dionne answered.

And he saw Lennox hurry out of the kitchen and ignore him. Dionne sighed, what she said to the man was too below the belt because the truth is that she needs him too much in her daughter's life. After sipping the soup, he hurried out of the kitchen and chased after Lennox but he couldn't catch up with him in the whole house. She wanted to apologize but she wouldn't admit what happened to her and why she was drunk. His heart is annoying, he is jealous that they are not in a relationship. He quickly showered to follow Lennox where he went. Maybe not at the hospital because it's the night shift. While he was getting in the car, he was thinking about where it was when his phone suddenly beeped. When he looked, he received a message from Veronica that her baby was at her house. He replied and said that he will subdue his brother first.

He just shook his head because it looked like they were having a lover's quarrel. It's like he's still floating because he feels like he's still drunk. He looked all around and looked for Lennox but he couldn't see him.

While Lennox hurried home because he was embarrassed by what Dionne said. He couldn't stop himself. He gets very angry when the baby is involved in the conversation. That's why he's here at Clara's house until tonight because he's on duty at the hospital. So he will wander today. He said hello to Baby Denise at her sister's house. He said it was okay so he breathed a sigh of relief.

"So? What's the problem? Why do you seem to have a bad trip? Don't you have any money? That's impossible. The doctor's salary is high," Clara answered.

"Nothing. It's been a while since we hung out. It's a good thing Sahara isn't here," Lennox answered.

"That girl is not going to do that. Besides, we are not close, so I wondered why she was getting close to me when she found out that we were friends. So I sensed that she has something for you. She has a crush on you," Clara said with a smile.

Lennox just shook his head. Even though Sahara was beautiful, he couldn't teach his heart to like her. Even though it is still close to him.

"It's normal to have feelings for someone, Clara, but you don't always need redemption just to say you're a good person. You have to accept that there is love that can't be reciprocated," said Lennox.

"The way you feel about her now? Why don't you confess now so you can find out if she can match your feelings or if you will only feel rejections?" Clara said surprising him.

"What are you talking about?" he asked.

Clara smiled as she looked at him. Clara held his hand.

"We've been friends, Lennox, for a few years now. So I know you well. If your feelings for him make you sad, gamble on your friendship. If you lose that friendship, at least you tried. But it's impossible that he didn't feel the same. It's so strange that your heart is so good, the fact that you're tired and macho is a plus point," Clara replied smiling.

Lennox sighed and seemed encouraged by Clara's words. The two of them are friends because he is a very supportive friend to her.

"I don't know if I can do it, Clara. I’m so scared,” Lennox replied.

"Don't be afraid because you must have a strong fighting spirit for that love if you want to be happy and have him be yours," said Clara.

Lennox just smiled because this Clara had many words of wisdom. They talked a lot and he asked her if she had found a new love. Not yet because the right person for this has not yet arrived. And it said that it took a long time to move on from what her ex-boyfriend did that she loved so much. It's good because he witnessed how she cried because of the pain of her heart and he was happy to know that she had moved on.

The two of them talked about anything with a bunch of cookies and juice. He won't drink anymore because he has a headache. Good thing he cooked Dionne some soup before they argued. But his heart knows that he loves the woman and her baby very much. He can accept it all his life, he can only be with the two for a lifetime. There is no case on his part to have a wife who has a child with another man. He feels that Veronica loves Dionne as well as Baby Denise, so he is satisfied with his feelings toward Dionne.
