Chapter 5
The date was terrible. Mostly because she spent the entire evening thinking of what Michael had said. Though her body had refused to stop tingling, she forced her brain to focus. She knew she couldn’t make a reasonable decision based on how hard her clit was pulsing but at the same time, a part of her told her it wasn’t that deep, and she should just go with the flow. It was just sex, after all.
The few times she managed to grasp what her date had said—she didn’t even remember his name—it had been how much money he had and blah blah blah. If he had been trying to impress her, he was in for a big shock. Her boss was worth five billion US dollars and he’d just proposed sex to her.
Funny how everything seemed to lead back to him, huh? She internally smacked herself on the head. The man was messing with her, and she was letting him.
After a couple hours of listening to her date go on and on about how well off he was, she politely told him she was tired and wanted to go home. He didn’t protest at all, probably getting the hint that it wasn’t going to work out.
He dropped her off at home with a ‘thanks for dinner’ and she returned with a half-hearted smile.
Well, that was that. In her experience, blind dates were the worst. She could probably blame her dislike for them on the fact that she always went there with the worst mindset that the men were dumb. Blind dates were for suckers. One never knew what to expect. What man that could easily get himself a woman would spend the time fixing a blind date?
Her date hadn’t been too bad to look at though. She would attribute that to the fact that he was a friend to Trish. She was sure that if it had been someone else online, he would’ve either been a serial killer or a weirdo.
Still, she was nowhere close to figuring out what to say to Michael tomorrow. More than anything, she didn’t want things to go wrong and lose her job. If she went through with this, the possibility of it happening was at least eighty percent. And she did want to fuck him. That was the fucking problem.
Now on her bed, she held a pillow over her face, so she could quell the sound if she decided to scream. She kept her eyes on the ceiling, focusing on the chipped painting that was almost falling off.
She’d heard stories of how lust made people make bad decisions. The thought gave her an idea. Maybe if she met one on one with an (a couple) orgasm, she would finally see reason. Getting up, she reached into her bedside drawer for her pink boyfriend with a smile.
Ahh, it had been too long. Quinn took off her clothes hurriedly, settling at the bed head with her legs wide open. Since she always made sure he was fully charged, she didn’t have to worry about him dying until she was done. She was going to cum Michael out of her system so she could keep her fucking job.
The low vibrating tune of the vibrator immediately turned her on. She imagined it was a man and as she grabbed a tit and massaged the hard nipple, a small gasp escaped her lips. She’d been doing this for a couple of years, and it had never felt this good.
The man was kissing her neck and then he was kissing her nipple. She pressed harder on the nub, shutting her eyes with a moan. His soft wet mouth closed around her nipple and sucked it in. Quinn shivered. It was almost real.
She pressed the button, adjusting the force of the vibration to a speed she knew would drive her mad. Placing the buzzing top on her begging clit, her eyes rolled to the back of her head. The man was sucking her clit into his mouth.
She imagined his voice speaking to her, cooing at her.
“Oh, baby. Please.” She pleaded with him, tears forming in her eyes and as she opened them, she felt liquid running down her face.
The pressure she was feeling on her clit was like never before. The man was squeezing her tit almost painfully now as he administered pleasure to the tiny nub between her legs. Her hips buckled against the sensations until she couldn’t take it anymore.
But she wasn’t ready to cum yet, so she held the vibrator away from her body, gasping for breath. Her breathing was so fast she thought she would give out entirely.
Closing her eyes once more, she placed the vibrator back on her clit. Immediately, her abdomen tightened and then she was coming. It was so intense that she let out a scream as her entire body spasm and her hips buckled violently.
When she’d come back to earth, she realized the man she’d been imagining was none other than Michael Rhett.
****
Quinn realized by mid afternoon that Michael was somewhat pissed at her.
She tried to remember if she’d done anything wrong. The only thing she could think about was that she hadn’t given him a reply yet. She didn’t think it was something to be angry about; he hadn’t even asked her. Had she done something she wasn’t aware of?
The though bothered her and that bothered her more because it wasn’t supposed to. Was the sex really that important to him?
The man was in a sour mood. He’d returned her good morning with a grunt, walking past her without another glance. Hadn’t it been only yesterday when he’d been all shits and giggles with her?
She thought to give it time until it didn’t bother her anymore. He was a grown man. If he had something on his mind, he would speak up. But when she sat at her desk, she couldn’t concentrate.
Without thinking it through, she marched into his office not bothering to knock.
“Is something wrong, Mr. Rhett?” She said his name with a tone, hoping he caught the sarcasm.
He leaned back against his big chair, watching her with hooded eyes.
“I don’t fuck women in relationships, Miss Faye.”
Oh, she caught his sarcasm, alright. What she didn’t catch was his meaning.
“What on earth are you talking about?”
She saw him hesitate, like he was fighting an internal battle on whether he should speak or not.
“Was that your boyfriend yesterday?”
“Who?”
Oh. The blind date. Fuck. He’d obviously seen them. Regardless, she didn’t think she owed him any explanations. In fact, she was sure she didn’t. He had no right to demand any.
“What’s it to you?”
“Did you hear any of what I just said? I don’t fuck women in relationships.”
“So?” She raised her chin in defiance, folding her arms under her chest.
“Break up with him.”
Dumbfounded, she stared at him. She almost laughed before she realized he was serious.
“You’re serious.” The wonder was evident in her voice. It was such an absurd request.
“I want you. I don’t play around with things like this, Quinn.” He loosened his necktie, like it was choking him. She felt constricted herself.
“And you think just because you say it, I’ll do it?” She asked slowly, trying to understand how one person could be so full of himself.
“Exactly.”
He wasn’t smiling or laughing. He was actually serious. She let out a breathless chuckle, blinking.
“You’re out of your mind.”
He was suddenly in front of her, holding her chin up to his face. “There’s no ring so I know he’s not a husband. I don’t employ married women as my secretaries. So he’s either a boyfriend or someone insignificant. End it.”
Her chest heaved with heavy breaths as she tried not to focus on his lips so close to hers. What had she been about to say again?
“You have no right to ask me to break up with anyone. No fucking right. You’re not my boss.”
He smirked. “Try again.”
She rolled her eyes. “You’re not the boss of me, Michael.”
“I’m your boss already. I think I’m right on track.”
When she tried to pull away, his grip on her chin tightened.
“Do you have an answer for me?”
There it was. The elephant in the room. The question she’d been itching to hear all day. Did she have an answer for him? After last night, she supposed she came to a conclusion, no pun intended. But looking up at him right now with that stupid smirk on his face, she couldn’t bring herself to say it out loud. Who knew what might happen to his already inflated ego? It might just implode.
“Not yet.” She said stubbornly.
He chuckled throatily. “You’re playing a dangerous game, Quinn. I can assure you that it won’t end the way you imagine.”
“Really? That’s my luck then. I love games, especially ones that involve deflating enormous egos.”
“We both know you want me to touch you. Why fight it?” He whispered, inching even closer to her face that she could smell his breath.
“What if I said no?” She retorted, parting her lips. She hoped to God the onion chips she’d eaten earlier weren’t still on her breath.
Michael’s eyes flickered from her eyes to her lips and then back. Her body began to tremble at the sheer intensity of his gaze. “I could lay you flat on my desk and fuck you. I could fuck your mouth so hard you’d choke on my cock. I could make you cum harder than anyone ever has. Just say the word.”
Dangerous game indeed. Quinn knew her panties were wet. She could feel the moisture dripping down her thighs. She’d never been so turned on in her life. His breathing was heavy and when she stared at his lips, imagining them on hers, she licked her lips in want.
“Fuck.” He groaned and the next time she knew, his mouth was on hers. His kiss was brutal. He was giving and taking. She moved her lips under his as his tongue invaded her mouth. His mouth was warm and soft, and his skilled tongue touched the corners of her mouth she didn’t even know was there.
Her back hit the desk and he hoisted her up to sit on it, spreading her legs so he rested in between. “Quinn, give me a fucking answer before I do something stupid.” He kissed her again, softer this time, nibbling on her upper lip.
“Yes,” She moaned into his mouth. “Yes please.”
That was all he needed. His roaming hands found her wet heat and he drew her panties down her legs, flinging it away. Her pulsing clit was already begging for his touch and when it got it, she cried out softly. “Michael, please.”
He pushed a finger in, and she saw stars. His thumb on her clit ran in slow circles as he fucked her with a finger. “You’ll break up with him.” It wasn’t a plea; it was a command.
Quinn was on another planet. Nothing had ever felt this good. She moaned, nodding. “I don’t even know who he is.”
“What?”
Quinn was impressed. He was surprised but his hands didn’t stop moving.
Biting her lip, “He was…ahhh…a blind date.”
“You were messing with me?” The words came out as a grunt. “That’s not a mistake you would want to repeat, Quinn.”
His wrist flicked in a circular motion, and she had to bite down harder on her lip to keep from shouting. “Didn’t you say this was a game?”
His deep laugh thundered around them. “I like you, Quinn. You are a very interesting woman.”
As he said the words, her stomach tightened. She gripped his arm as the wave washed over her and then she was falling. He kissed her, swallowing her moans and holding her as she trembled. It was hard to keep her eyes open, but Michael held her down with his gaze.
When she came to, he had a ridiculous smile on his face. She almost didn’t ask the reason, but her mouth had other plans.
“Why the hell are you so cheerful?” She asked, rearranging her dress he’d bunched around her waist. She paused, looking around. “Where the hell are my panties, Michael?”
When he didn’t respond, she hit him softly on the arm. “Michael!”
He laughed, lifting both hands in the air in the universal sign of surrender as he took two steps back. “Ouch, woman. I have no idea. You won’t need it again anyway. It’s mine now.”
She gave him a look. “The fuck does that mean?”
He shrugged, helping her straighten the hem of her dress. “I’ll get you a new one.”
“I don’t want a new one.” She mumbled. It had been one of her favorite underwear, one she only wore on special occasions. That is, when she was feeling particularly sexy.
“You’ll get a new one.” He pecked her lips, turning around and walking to his chair. “So...”
Quinn felt stupid standing there as he was watching her, like he was her father chiding her for doing something stupid. She took the initiative to sit, arranging her dress around her. “So…”
“I just wanted to make certain that you understand that our arrangement has nothing to do with you doing your job.”
He looked nothing like the playful man who just had his fingers inside her. Alright, she could be serious too.
“I understand.” It was beginning to feel much like when she’d been called to the principal’s office back in high school.
“Adequate.” He nodded. “For as long as you are my secretary, our arrangement holds. That is, until either of us decides to call it quits.”
She nodded, mainly because she didn’t know what else to say.
“Do you have any requests?”
“Am I supposed to?”
“It’s up to you. Since you do not want an increase in your salary, I thought you might want gifts like a weekly allowance for shopping or some shit. Isn’t that what most women love to do?”
She raised a brow. “I think you’ll quickly come to realize that I am not most women. I’m doing this because I want to, not because I want anything in return. Keep your money.”
He blinked furiously, like she’d just told him she had two pink dicks growing in her armpits. After a few seconds, he gave a brief nod. “Whatever you want.”
“Actually, I do have one request.”
“Let’s hear it.”
She cleared her throat softly. “I demand exclusivity.”
A side of his lips curled upward. “That won’t be a problem.”
“l will call it off the second I see or hear anything about you frolicking around with any woman. I do not like to share, and I’m not interested in STIs.”
“That’s a fair request.”
“It goes without saying that I will award you the same respect.”
He nodded, hitting the desk. “That will be all.”
He was dismissing her. Say what you would about the man, when it came to being an ass, he was consistent. She gave him a curt nod, getting up. They were right. Lust did make one make terrible decisions.
“Quinn?”
She spun on her heels. “Yes?”
“Wear this tomorrow.”
She collected the bag curiously, resisting the urge to ask him what was in it. Nodding, she turned and walked out of the office.
Michael was a very interesting man.
The game was just getting started.
