Chapter 1

The unmistakable pleasurable feminine howl of climax stopped her dead in her tracks. She recognized that sound, as it was almost the same sound she let out most nights whenever her cute little pink vibrator and her decided it was time for a friendly get-together. But to hear it coming—pun fully-intended—from her new boss’s office?

Now, that was new.

She was almost scared to enter the office. HR had given her some documents to deliver to Mr. Rhett, her new boss. After several tedious months of job applications and interviews that had yielded no fruit whatsoever, she’d finally landed a job.

And now someone was being thoroughly fucked in that office. Just her fucking luck.

She knocked. Once. Twice. There was no response.

Her palms were sweaty, and her breathing grew rapid. Quinn knew she didn’t have to knock; whoever was getting down and dirty in there had forgotten to completely shut the fucking door. She looked around. The office she was standing in was the only one connected to the CEO’s office. She guessed it was supposed to be hers as the new secretary. There was a glass wall separating the office from the rest of the employees. Something told her she was going to be very happy here. She couldn’t complain; it was spacious and beautiful. Hell, if HR hadn’t cleared her on her job description, she’d have thought she was the boss.

“Come in,” The words sounded like it had been grunted out, but it did a very good job of dragging her by the hair out of her reverie.

Right, she thought.

Then she paused. Come in? The moaning sounds hadn’t stopped. If anything, it only got louder. Did the rest of the employees not hear anything, or did they just convince themselves that this was normal? What the hell kind of job was this?

“Come the fuck in or get out. I’m busy.” The voice grunted again.

Fuck it. Quinn moved her legs quickly before she could change her mind, pushing the door open and—

“Oh, fucking hell.”

There, on the big mahogany desk in the middle of the spacious carpeted office was a man standing at the edge of the furniture, buried deep in a woman.

The files she was holding dropped from her hands. She didn’t notice. She stood there staring at the scene, blinking furiously. The woman on the desk was naked and had her legs wide open and in the air. Any wider and they would’ve ripped in two. Her pussy was glistening with moisture, and her full perky breasts jiggled with the movement. Quinn swallowed loudly. The man, on the other hand, was fully clad in a suit and was plunging into her with a force that rivaled nature. The only skin that showed was his taut ass as a result of his lowered trousers which was bunched at his ankles.

“Who the fuck are you?” The man growled and for the first time, their eyes locked. In those few seconds of insanity, she saw his eyes widen and then roll to the back of his head.

The speed of his thrusts increased, and Quinn watched, to her utter shame yet with unabashed interest as he pulled out hurriedly and with sporadic jerks of his hips, spurted his cum on the woman’s stomach, groaning in pleasure.

This was the most scandalous thing she’d ever seen, and the worst part was she thought it was hot.

“Oh, hell,” she whispered, suddenly feeling like she’d just interrupted something she shouldn’t have. She tore her eyes away awkwardly like it would give them a modicum of privacy, bending to pick the stack of documents that lay scattered on the ground.

“Well?” The man asked again, this time irritated.

Quinn arranged the papers and taking a very deep breath, she stood up. His eyes disconcerted her for a few seconds, and she staggered back, looking away, and then counted to three before meeting them again.

“I’m uh—” She stammered, mindlessly running a hand down her hair. The man was arranging his clothes, though he stopped for a few seconds to kiss the woman sloppily on the lips. Quinn looked away. What kind of job was she supposed to be doing here again? “Quinn Faye. The new secretary.”

His neck snapped to her direction when the words flew out of her mouth, and finally tearing himself away from the woman who was beginning to annoy Quinn with all the stupid noises she was making like a fucking cat in labor, he stalked towards her.

“New secretary, huh? And who the hell hired you?” He was so close to her; she could smell his breath on her face. She felt strangely small as she took a step back, like a prey running from a predator. The look on his face unsettled her. It was the same look he had then when he’d been about to, well, cum.

She backed away, finding that she couldn’t look away. His eyes were the most captivating shade of blue. “Uh, a Mrs. Davis from HR.”

“Pieces of shit,” He muttered, spinning on his heels and walking to the desk. He sat on the chair behind the big desk, and Quinn had no doubt he was the CEO.

She wouldn’t deny she’d been expecting someone older. He looked like he was in his late twenties, and he definitely acted like one. Rhett Holdings and Inc. was one of the most successful tech companies in New York. It had taken a lot to summon up the courage to apply for the job. When she’d gotten an interview email, she’d screamed so loud her landlady had had to check up on her to make sure she wasn’t being murdered or something.

“Get out. We’re done.” He threw to the woman who only twisted her mouth to the side and sent him a murderous glare. Nevertheless, she threw on her clothes, grabbed her heels, and left. Though, not before sending her a seething look.

Quinn was dumbfounded. Was this a norm or just a special occasion? She tried to remember her other jobs and how it had been working in other companies. There had never been an incident as absurd as this. Didn’t the rest of the office hear the moans and the eye-piercing screams that woman had let out?

A part of her wondered what they would’ve done. Report the CEO to HR? Yeah, sure. That would’ve ended really well. If one was looking to be fired, that is.

“Alright,” He edged closer to the desk, immediately looking like the last few minutes hadn’t happened. “What was your name again?”

“Uh—”

He looked at her from narrowed eyes. “Are you dumb?”

She shut her mouth. Somehow, she speechless in front of him. It didn’t happen very often, and she knew it was because he intimated her.

“No, sir. I am not,” she responded curtly.

“I hoped not,” he said dryly, looking at his laptop screen. “Speak.”

“My name is Quinn Faye.”

He was silent. Quinn stood there awkwardly, wondering if she’d made the right choice by applying for a job here. The entire situation was nothing short of absurd. He was trying hard to piss her off. There was no other explanation for it.

“Sir?” she asked in a small voice.

He raised his eyes to her. His startling blue eyes pierced her skin, and she resisted the urge to run a palm across her skin. She almost staggered back at the sheer intensity of his gaze.

“I have some documents for you to review.” She stretched the papers in her hands forward, feeling stupid.

“Drop it on my desk and get out.”

Quinn had never been one to lose her cool easily, and she’d definitely never been one to entertain prison-like thoughts, but she was this close to stabbing him in the neck with a pen. However, she’d been brought up in a fairly good way, if one didn’t include a little frivolity here and there, and had been taught never to commit murder under any circumstance even if the supposed victim in question was her arrogant boss who had no morals whatsoever.

She did as he instructed and without another word, she left. Mrs. Davis from HR had said her office was the one connected to Mr. Rhett’s, so she didn’t bother going back for clarification.

God, the man had been dipped in arrogance and coated in narcissism, she thought as she sat in her chair. A low moan escaped her. Oh, this was nice. This was very nice. She could get used to this. Never before had she been given such a beautiful office. In some of her other jobs, she’d had to share an office with her boss. It had been uncomfortable as hell. Here, she didn’t have to worry about constantly seeing her boss’s face unless he needed her or something. Oh, yes, she thought. The soft material of the furniture felt supple and comfortable under her skin, and she rubbed her ass around the seat in a circular motion with her eyes closed.

Which was probably the reason she hadn’t or seen Mr. Rhett come out of his office.

“What the fuck are you doing?”

Quinn jumped to her feet, startled. Her heart was beating louder than a drum, so loud she could hear it through her ears.

“Uh…”

He shook his head exasperatedly, massaging his temple. “Where does she find you people?” he muttered.

She swallowed, aware that she was running out of saliva. “I was just—”

He blew out a breath. “Just go over these documents and cancel the rest of my appointments for today. I have somewhere to be.”

He walked past her and out of the office, and she just stood there reeling. After waiting a few seconds to be sure he was really gone and out of hearing range, her mouth opened. “Oh of all the annoying arrogant fucking piece of shit—”

“How was your first day?”

Quinn jumped with a scream, turning to see who it was.

Mrs. Davis stood at the door with one hand on the knob and a smirk on her face. “You have a colorful vocabulary. Your ass must be jealous.”

“Oh shit. I mean—” She caught herself, crying internally. This was not going the way she’d planned. “I mean, I didn’t…” She trailed off, defeated.

Mrs. Davis let out a laugh.

“Are you going to fire me? Because I would totally understand. I’d fire myself.”

“Don’t sweat it,” she said, walking into the office. “I just came to see if he’d successfully scared you off. You’re still here, so I guess not. We’re all proud of you. It’s not an easy feat. Michael Rhett is a very frightening young man.”

Michael. His name was Michael. Quinn wasn’t sure why, but it made her smile.

“I don’t understand. Why would he scare me off?”

“Because he’s a spoiled brat, that’s why. And he doesn’t like secretaries. He’s had nine secretaries in the past two months, and none have lasted more than five days. You’re the tenth. The last one quit on her first day.”

Quinn stared at her. The words seemed to flow out so languidly, like she did this with all the other secretaries. But Jesus, nine secretaries in two months? What was wrong with the man?

“Don’t take it too personal, but the rest of the office all placed bets on how long you’ll hold out.”

“Yeah?” Quinn nodded, slightly annoyed. “What about you?”

“I placed a hundred dollars,” she answered awkwardly with a cough.

“For how long?”

“Two days.”

Two days. It was that bad, huh? The thought of quitting hadn’t even crossed her mind though she refrained from telling the woman that she would lose that bet. Maybe three days. She wasn’t sure how many of his insults she could take.

“I’ll leave you to it, then,” Mrs. Davis said before leaving.

Quinn was sure she wouldn’t resign. She really needed this job. Her rent was due in two weeks, and she’d exhausted her savings from her past jobs on groceries and other things she couldn’t even remember. The generous salary was one of the reasons she’d even decided to apply for the job. If she resigned now, it would take weeks, maybe even months, to find a new job, and by then, she’d be homeless and hungry.

Mr. Rhett was a complete asshole and an even bigger dick, but he was her employer. If a few insults and snide comments were all she had to go through to have a roof over her head and food on her table, then that was what she’d do. Even since she’d moved out of her brother’s place after he’d gotten married, money had been a bit too tight for her. She’d refused to be another mouth for him to feed despite his insisting. This job was everything to her right now.

The scene she’d witnessed earlier resurfaced in her mind. The electrifying manner with which he’d came, the unadulterated look of pleasure on his face and grunts of ecstasy he’d made. Her thighs instinctively clenched. She’d never been a voyeur, but it was the hottest thing she’d ever seen. Though the last thing she needed was to be sexually attracted to her very sexually attractive boss, she couldn’t help the need that flowed through her body.

The way he’d pounded that woman’s pussy, she imagined it had been her lying on that desk, imagined she was the one receiving those mind-blowing administrations.

When was the last time a man had touched her, had made her cum? She couldn’t remember. It must’ve been college. She’d been too busy trying to make sure she didn’t go hungry or drop out of college. There had been no time for trivial things like sex or pleasure or dating.

It had been only when her best friends, Trish and Cassie, convinced her to get a vibrator and learn her body had she stopped to think about it. Now, every other night, she and her very skilled boyfriend—or vibrator as other people ignorantly called it—found time to have a little fun. And she was very content with it. Unlike other women, she didn’t need a man to feel complete. With her new job, her life was going great. The best way to have a drama-free life and constant orgasms was to steer clear of men and buy a fucking vibrator. Trish had learned that lesson the hard way. Quinn had learned it from Trish.

Her fucking boss was a pain in her ass. It wasn’t like she planned to work for him forever. When she’d saved enough money, she would resign. The constant comments of degradation were annoying, but she was going to have to put up with it for as long as she could. At least, until her paintings started selling. She’d hoped by now that she’d have sold a few, but nothing had come of putting them online for sale.

She’d wait. She didn’t have a choice. And in the meantime, her boss was going to have to get used to her because she wasn’t quitting for any reason whatsoever.

He’d quickly learn that she had thick skin.
