Wrong doings

Mr. King and Edward said in unison, "No, you are pregnant"

The nurse looked at Autumn and said, "Mam, you are pregnant so you cannot donate blood"

Autumn shouted, "I SAID TAKE MY BLOOD"

The nurse was about to open her mouth when Ethan interrupted, "Please take my blood" saying that he walked away with the nurse.

Mr. King was very thankful today Ethan had his mother's blood group and it could help Lee.

After sometimes Ethan came out donating his blood and sat next to Autumn and said, "So this is how you are taking care of yourself and my nephews"

Autumn looked at him with teary eyes and said, "Ethan he is in this condition because of me"

Ethan caressed her head lovingly and said, "He did this to save you and your babies and you are wasting his sacrifice"

Autumn said, "I don't know why I just can't see him like this"

Ethan said, "he will be fine don't worry doctors are doing their best"

Soon the doctor came out and said removing his surgical mask, "He is out of danger but he is in coma"

Everyone sighed in relief and Autumn asked, "When will he get up?"

The doctor replied calmly, "He should wake up soon, but we cannot say exactly when"

Autumn asked, "Can I see him?"

"Please wait till we shift him to the ICU ward" saying that the doctor left from there.

After some time Lee was shifted to the ICU, Autumn was looking at him from outside as they were not allowed to enter the ward.

She was unable to hold her tears seeing Lee lying lifeless with so many machines attached to his body. Edward held her shoulder from behind and said, "See, now he is fine, you go home with Ethan"

Autumn nodded negatively and asked, still looking at unconscious Lee, "How are other bodyguards?"

Guilt was eating her internally because of her five lives are in danger today, Edward replied calmly, "They are also out of danger, please take some rest baby, you are standing from so long"

Autumn still didn't agree, Ethan came and said, "Princess you don't want to home?"

Autumn nodded negatively and said, "I want to stay by Lee's side"

Ethan smiled and said caressing her head, "As my princess wish"

Edward wanted to object but Ethan gave him assuring look and said, "I agree to your request but you will also have to agree with what I say"

Autumn looked at him with her innocent eyes, Ethan said, "You will have to rest in next room till Lee wakes up"

Autumn didn't want to but agreed because she knows it's not good for babies' health.

She went to the ward assigned to her, Edward tucked her in bed and came out and ordered Zack, "I want every detail of person behind it"

Zack was about to go when Mr. King interrupted, "No need for that"

Edward and Ethan frowned and Mr. King sighed deeply and said, "This is done by…. by your mother"

Edward and Ethan felt that ground slipped beneath their feet, they could not believe it and said in unison, "NO WAY"

Mr. King would have never believed if he didn't hear it with his own ears. He said, "Your Mom had lost her mind, she can only see what Amaya shows her, she only listens what Amaya tells her, she only feels what Amaya makes her feel"

"I don't know what Amaya told your Mom that she is ready to kill her own grandchildren" Mr. King's eyes were teary thinking what would have happened if Lee didn't save Autumn once, what would have happened if he didn't come on time.

How could he face Edward if something would have happened to Autumn today? Edward and Ethan were standing there dumbstruck; they were still processing what they just heard.

They knew their Mom can never be this cruel; Amaya is taking advantage of her love and guilt.

Ethan said, "Dad, why don't you talk to Mom about it?"

Mr. King scoffed and said, "I tried but she feels that even I am against her"

All three men didn't know what to do because they know the woman whom they are talking about is not cruel. She is just lost and they don't know how to bring her back.

Not knowing what to do next they decided to leave the matter for now and look after Autumn and Lee at this moment.

But they had made a note to tighten Autumn's security.

They were about to enter Autumn's ward and suddenly Edward's eyes fell on Elizabeth who was trying to hide but her eyes were teary.

Edward excused himself and walked towards her and hugged her, she burst out crying. She was unable to see her son in this condition.

She said crying hysterically, "Why? Why does my family have to suffer so much? Why can't my son have a peaceful life?"

"Wasn't it enough that he was sacrificing his identity for his daughter? How can God be so cruel to him?"

Edward was patting her back gently after few minutes Elizabeth calmed a little and asked in a hoarse voice, "How is Autumn and babies"

Edward replied, "They are fine because of Lee"

Elizabeth asked, "Did you investigate who did this?"

Edward was ashamed but he didn't want to hide the wrongdoing of his mother, he said sighing sadly, "My Mom"

Elizabeth was shocked and she said angrily, "How can she do this to her own daughter-in-law and grandchildren?"

Edward didn't have an answer because he knows whatever he tries to say nothing can justify his mother's wrongdoing.

Seeing Edward standing like that, Elizabeth felt bad because she knew it was not his mistake so she tried to change the topic and asked, "How is Autumn?"

"She is not doing well with all these," Edward said helplessly.

Elizabeth nodded and said, "Can I meet her?"

Edward nodded and headed towards Autumn's ward followed by Elizabeth.

When Elizabeth entered the ward she saw Mr. King was peeling apples for her while Ethan was trying to feed her some juice and she was throwing tantrums like a kid.

She felt so blissful that at least Autumn had these men around her to take care of her. The moment Autumn's eyes fell on Elizabeth she ran and hugged her immediately and again started crying.
