She left him

Edward panicked, he started shouting at his men, he was scared thinking any of business rivals might harm her if they knew about it. He must do something to find her as soon as possible.

He increased the numbers of the detectives to look for Autumn, but no help, he got to know that Lee was also missing along with Autumn from that same day.

No one was able to reach him or trace him.

He was unable to understand if it's good or bad. Will he protect her or he is the one who kidnapped her. If he kidnapped her, what does he want? Was he helping someone else?

Three days passed and there was no news of Autumn or Lee. One of his detectives said Lee was seen near a medical shop but before they could reach him he vanished like he was never there.

Now Edward was being sure that Lee is a traitor, he is the one who helped his enemy to kidnap Autumn, he was unable to believe he brought a traitor home.

His mind was messing with a different thought of Autumn, he was not getting any clue, he was having sleepless nights.

He was not eating properly, many times at night he would feel that Autumn was calling him for help.

He was feeling so helpless, he didn't know what to do because if any of his business rivals had kidnapped Autumn then why are they not calling him for negotiation.

He would give up his entire empire to get Autumn back.

It was the sixth day and till now no information about Lee or Autumn, but Lee was sighted near the military hospitals many times but he was very good at hiding himself.

Edward asked his hacker to hack military hospitals CCTV cameras, he was unable to see Lee on hospital premises, but he found one thing very suspicious.

He saw Elizabeth in the hospital buying medicines. He frowned but he remembered that yesterday Elizabeth had taken his permission for half a day.

She said she is going to the hospital to buy medicines for her arthritis; he was unable to understand whether it was merely a coincidence or something which he is unable to see.

His heart didn't allow him to doubt Elizabeth, she has been working for him for the past ten years she took care of him and Ethan like her own children, she would never betray him.

It was the seventh day and there was no news of Autumn or Lee, Edward was shouting on all his detectives, "YOU ALL ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING…. FUCKING USLESS…. YOU CAN'T FIND ANY CLUE ABOUT MY WIFE AND THAT TRAITOR LEE"

He was shouting when one of the detectives said slowly, "President, if you allow shall we also check morgues"

Edward's eyes widened in shock, anger, fear there were many emotions in his eyes, he can't even think of that possibility.

He would kill himself if anything happened to Autumn, he took long strides towards that detective and punched hard on his face making him fall on the ground.

He growled, "JUST BECAUSE YOU FAIL DOING YOUR JOB DON'T YOU DARE SPILL NONSENSE"

Everyone flinched at Edward's outburst. There was pin-drop silence for few seconds and another detective said mustering up the courage "President, there is another possibility if anyone tries to hide themselves then also it becomes difficult to find that person"

Edward held his collar and said grinding his teeth, "HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT, YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY MY AUTUMN LEFT ME"

He threw the detective on the ground and growled, "ZACK, THROW THIS USELESS SHITS OUT OF MY OFFICE NOW"

It's been more than a week and there was no news of Autumn or Lee, Edward was not going to the office, Zack was taking care of work.

Edward was now drowning himself in alcohol, the detectives' words were continuously ringing in his mind, did she really leave him.

Did he again fail to get her, did he spoil the second chance given by God, did she really leave him, many times he thought of killing himself, he doesn't want to live without her.

She is his world and if she is not with him, it's better he finishes his life, he never thought his little ignorance towards Amaya would turn his life upside down.

He broke the bottle which was in his hand and was about to slit his arms, suddenly she heard a voice, "Have you ever thought what will she do without you?"

His hands froze in its place, he saw himself standing there in the mirror, the person in the mirror looked completely opposite of this broken Edward, Edward in the mirror was looking handsome as ever, he said, "Do you really have the guts to leave her alone in this disgusting world?"

Piece of bottle fell down from Edward's hand, he immediately regretted his decision, how could he think of leaving her alone, what if she needs him, what if she is in some trouble.

He felt like slapping himself for thinking of suicide, this realization hit him hard. He felt like he got new energy to find her again.

It was hard for him but if he cannot keep her happy he would let her go with someone who loves her more than him and can keep her happy.

He would be happy to see her from afar, this will be his punishment for the sin which he has committed. But now he is firm that he would never leave her, he will always be there for her.

The next morning everyone including Elizabeth was shocked when they found Edward on the dining table all ready to leave for office.

He had breakfast like other normal days and left for the office, he engrossed himself in work.

On the other hand, Amaya was sitting on a chair in her bedroom's balcony, she was talking to her baby caressing her flat belly, "Baby you come fast to this world, your Mumma is waiting for you, you know your Dad is angry right now but don't worry about it he will be only our once you come to this world"
