Chapter 221: A Secret Revealed

**Rameric's POV:**

I was impressed with how she was handling this newfound feeling. For some who first take to the Mate Bond, they can last out and cause a scene and fight anyone around them. Others are in complete shock and not sure what to do, some have even passed out due to being able to feel the feelings that were not their own.

Alasia, on the other hand, was somewhere in the middle. She was fearful a bit but was willing to accept the bond. I had no doubt in my mind that it would take some getting used to for her. However, as her mate, I would be here each and every step of the way through this process. I wanted us to grow stronger through this entire ordeal. I knew that Vladic did a number on her when he tried to use her to get to me. It hurt her mind in addition to her physical body. But if she was as strong as I knew her bloodline was, there was nothing she couldn't surpass.

I was thankful that I at least knew what to expect from all this. This would change her whole world. It would be a lot to process, but if she relied on me as much as she did the Mate Bond, I knew she would be alright with me at her side.

"Well, if you have things well in hand Brother, then I will leave you two for the remainder of the evening," Raiven said, walking over closer to me and patting the top of my shoulder.

Alasia looked away from him when she approached, and I lowered my body to help shield her, as I could tell it made her a bit nervous. When I moved, I could feel a sense of security in her and her body relaxed a bit beneath my own. I was pleased with the fact that even though she didn't speak, I could tell there was an issue and my movement seemed to help soothe her worries.

"See you first thing after first light?" Raiven asked me as he turned around and was ready to head toward the door of my Chambers.

In the back of my mind, I was surprised when a conversation came to the forefront of my mind. I focused on the conversation as it started to play out. It was one where my mate had a conversation with Vladic himself. I was shocked as I could not believe it! Something about that particular memory stood out to me. Still, without answering Raiven, him standing there waiting to head to the door, I continued to search her thoughts.

Raiven seeing the seriousness in my face, he turned back around and remained standing there beside me as I focused on the one that stood beside Vladic. The words I heard were: That she has the Gift of Foresight! At that moment, I looked over at Raiven with a shocking expression. I knew I had that one plastered all over my face, so there was no denying it.

Raiven stood there, confused as to what the issue was, when he asked, "What?"

He even held his hands out to the sides of him as if he needed me to fill him in on the situation that I had just come upon. I didn't respond to him but looked down at her instead. I could not believe that she experienced all that, all while praying for that strength to remain strong in the midst of such powerful enemies. I could not believe that she was forced to put up with such a test and here I was, failing her as I could not have known.

I then looked back at Raiven when I whispered, "She has The Gift of Foresight!"

When I said that, Alasia turned to look at me in shock, which was evident all over her face. I raised myself up just enough to where I could look at her before turning around to look at Raiven.

"What did you say?" Raiven asked as he lowered himself down to hover on his bent knees. "Did you say what I think you just said?!"

"I did say that," I responded. "I am having a hard time believing it myself, but that is what they called her."

"Who?" Raiven asked me when he looked at my mate, still in shock that I knew that.

"How did you know that?" Alasia asked me just then, causing me to look back at her. "How do you know that is what they called me?"

"Part of the Mate Bond is that I have the ability to read your thoughts and previous conversations of experience."

"What a talented little Lycan she is turning out to be indeed," Raiven said as he stood back up to his feet. "What are you wanting to do now?"

"Well, now we are figuring out a few more things, there are things we will need to do in order to take this to a whole new level," I said as I reached under her neck and held her closer to me.

Her arms were still tucked up under her, and she softened her body and started to go limp to where I could hold her to me without fighting it. She was starting to relax in my grasp and that was helping me as well.

"Just before first light, I want you to call a meeting," I said, making sure to still hold her close and gentle enough that I did not cause her any unnecessary pain as she was still frail. "I need you to inform the rest of The Inner Circle as well as my Beta about what we are up against."

"What are you going to be doing in the meantime?" Raiven asked me.

"Who me?" I asked before turning to look back at Alasia, still looking at me in shock, still not sure how I knew what I found out, when I searched her mind. "I am going to be right here. Make sure to send up the first meal of the day as well. We will have it here. For now, she needs to know that she comes first, and all other things will fall into place in time. Then we can discuss things further."

"Very well, Brother," Raiven said, taking a few steps back and bowing at us as Alasia had turned to watch him do this as well. "I will leave you for the remainder of the evening. Call for me once you are ready. Shall I see to it that you are not disturbed in the meantime?"

I looked back at Alasia as she turned to look at me and said, "Yes, that would be expected."

"Till tomorrow," Raiven said, bowing only his head this time before he turned and headed back toward the door.

I continued to watch her as she watched him leave the room, not saying another word till it was closed again. When she turned to look back at me, I was still watching her. My expression softened when she tilted her head to the side a bit, still trying to figure out the Mate Bond.

"So, how are you feeling now?" I asked her.

"It is hard to describe what I am feeling," she said at first as she looked down at my chest before her cheeks turned bright with vibrant color before she looked back up at me and spoke next. "I am not sure whose feelings are whose at this point."

"What are you feeling?" I asked her and the color in her cheeks grew.

She looked at me and said, "I have never done that with anyone."

"I am not here to force you, but to love you."
