Adding More Boyfriends

**Artemis**

They kept their promise and found me four years too late. I’ve created a family with Slater and Camden and now they want to be part of it, knowing I’m with two other men. I can hardly fathom this. The amount of trust they want me to give is tremendous. Do Razz and Roan know what they are asking?

Camden currently isn’t helping with deciding they should be part of our family. Seriously?! What the hell, Cam?! How can he be so nonchalant about all this? I understand he doesn’t feel emotions to the strong degree that Slater and I do. That is when Slay hasn’t kicked off his emotions to deal with something unpleasant.

I despise when he does that because it takes time to get Slater to resurface from being Slayer. Slayer is cold and ruthless, but Slater is kind and caring. They are two vastly different personalities. Slayer was formed out of necessity to protect Slater. At first, it was to shield the more innocent parts of Slater from what his uncle was doing to him. Now Slayer comes out to protect Slater from the mental damage that comes from having to kill and torture people.

“We can try this, see how it goes. Just know, I’m going to protect my sons, even if it’s from their fathers. Slater and Camden keep me out of the loop about their other world because I have asked that of them. I do not want to know anything legal, so let’s keep it that way.”

“I that because of your career goals?” Preston queries.

“Yes,” I answer succinctly.

“When you are done with school, I know someone you can with for your certification. He is a criminal forensic scientist of some kind. I’m not exactly sure what he does, but I know it has something to do with forensics, and he works closely with the police. He goes to crime scenes. He is on one of our teams. I’ll give you his information.”

I thank Preston. “That could work. Once I’m dead, we can move out of state. Wherever you want to go, Diosa. Lo seguiremos.”

“Same goes for Razz and I. We will follow,” Ronin confirms.

“There you have it. The Death Kings can be based anywhere in the world. It doesn’t have to stay in the Bay or the state of Texas for that matter,” Preston assures me as if he is already part of my harem. He is the one I know the least about.

“Polycule,” Camden sings, looking at me with an ‘I-told-you-so’ look. Sometimes this man can be an obnoxious ass.

I sigh in frustration. “Fine. Okay. You are all my boyfriends. Happy, Cam?”

A smile curves his lips that reminds me of a grinchy green character from a rhyming children’s book. It is a snide, devious grin. “Very.” He grunts and his head whips to Slater.

Slater gives him a look and has Camden slouching back in his chair with his arm crossed in a huff. I’ve been with these two long to know they speak to each other via body language. It’s almost as though they can hear what the other is saying without a word being spoken. It’s fascinating. I remember Razz and Ronin being the same.

“I made Sopapillas for dessert. Cam, ve por ellos,” Slater commands. Camden gets up and as he is walking, Slater yells at him in afterthought, “Don’t forget the honey and butter, por favor.” Camden flips him off. I know Cam. He’ll bring the sopas along with the condiments since they are my favorite fried pastries. They are gluten-free, of course. Slater doesn’t cook or eat anything that isn’t.

“Are you certain this is what you want? I’ll shoot Cam for you if you feel pressured into dating the other three. Te lo prometo.”

“You don’t have to promise that. I know you will. You shot him in the foot the last time.”

“Just because you were pregnant did not mean he had to force you to buy those clothes when you were more comfortable in ours,” Slater says.

“I know, but he wasn’t wrong. They came in handy, so I could feel more put together. There was that time we all attended mass with Cam’s mom.”

“Si. He got a broken rib for that one. You don’t force religion on someone,” he growls agitatedly, and I walk to him.

I stand him, leaning over so my arms drape down his chest, and rest my chin on his shoulder. I kiss his cheek. “I adore you for standing up for me. You didn’t have to hurt him. He was only trying to make his mom happy.”

“Fuck. It’s seriously difficult to hate you,” Razz grumbles to Slater.

Slater softly strokes my arms with his tattoo figures. “The jury is still on you, pirata. From what I’ve heard so far, you’re too prideful.”

"I know. Look what it cost me. Years of not knowing my son. I didn't get to see him be born."

"I got it on video," Camden chirps.

"That's not the point, be still I still kinda wanna see that," Razz replies to him. "I'm going to work for pride because it cost me something important."

Slater takes my hand and kisses the top. "I don't know about you, Diosa, but think that Razz may have learned a valuable lesson. If you want to have a relationship with them go, Cam, and I will back you."

"I'm completely okay with adding your harem, Goddess. This could be fun for all of us." Camden says that eyeing Roan and Razz up like they are juicing tender steaks he was about to take a bit out off.

I hope he doesn't fixate on them. They don't mind sharing, but they aren’t bisexual. Not to my knowledge, at any rate.

I look at Preston, who is looking at all with intrigue. He is a mathematician putting all the equations together to make a perfect sum. "I'm attracted to you Artemis. I'd like to see where this goes. Can I date you too?" He questions.

"Slay?" I ask him, unsure of what to do.

"I've seen how more efficient the other teams work sharing a woman. It could be a great bonding experience for our thrown-together little group. We didn't have the luxury of growing up together like Tempest and C.H.A.O.S."

"You're seeing what I'm seeing then," Preston comments and Slater nods his head. "Good."

"If you want to, Diosa, a por ello." Go for it, Slater says.

Is it really that simple? Is this what I want? Five men. Five boyfriends. Five fathers of my children. That's what they'll become because my sons will become attached.

"If you three are willing to become fathers to my sons, then yeah, let's do this."

"On this note, there is something you should all know-" Preston starts.

"OMG, finally. You're going to fess up," Kass says, heading for the fridge.

Preston glares daggers at the teenager. Kass comes back through, holding two soda cans up in surrender with another tucked under his arm. There is a knowing smile on his face as he walks out.

All eyes are on Preston now. Curious about what he is about to confess. He blows out his breath, sounding like a horse. Then his phone rings.
