Elara’s POV….

I should be the first person that is happy to get kidnapped, I should be the only person that felt good waking up inside a room, and or knowing where I am, the test must have sent by now.

I glanced across the room, I didn’t think he will know me in a bedroom, I thought I will be in the basement, yet I was not, the room has one window, I didn’t bother reaching for to to see if I can escape, I was not too worried, I know that Adrian will find me.

My feet felt heavy against the floor when I softly touched my neck, the necklace was gone, I should have known he will take it off and my ring too was gone, but I guess he is not so smart that’s why papa ended up as leader and not him

I knew he will take all these off so I won’t be tracked, but there was one more thing, there was a pin, in my hair that Adrian had placed because he was worried something will happen, I already took it too and I placed it in between my bra.

I had prayed Gabriel will not touch me in that way.

As I stood in front of the mirror, my hair was undone and scattered, like as I expected, my eyes were swollen,I had hoped Adrian will wait a bid before he come to find me so I can find mom

I didn’t have any track of time, I didn’t have any track of where I could possibly be, how long has it been since I fell asleep, I didn’t even know that.

I guess I was worried, I had many thoughts in my mind.

To my surprise the door was unlocked, it’s a trap, I pulled away and I headed into the bathroom, the one place I was sure there are no cameras and I pulled out the pin, pressed on it hard enough until it started beeping before I placed it under the sink, from the naked eye it could not be seen which I thought was perfect.

The maids passed me like I was no one, no one even asked hey I am out of bed, no one asked why I was roaming around the house, no one said a word to me, and I found myself in the living room.

I could hear a noise coming form the tv and realization dawns to me, there is a kid, and he seems to be playing, it could be a she, my feet felt heavy even I reached toward the other side and I saw the kid.

He didn’t even know that I was there, he was too busy playing, God don’t tell me it belongs to who I think it does, did he force mom to sleep with him, did he rape her until he got a kid out of her.

“Hello.” I breathed out, he didn’t turn, he must be listening to music, he can’t be older than six years old; he looked so young, I wanted to see his face, I wanted to know if he looked anything like mom, if he looked more like Gabriel.

I reached toward him, just when I was about to place my hand on his, someone pushed me and I fell to the ground.

“Mom.” I heard him yell.

“Don’t go close to her, she is going to hurt you.“ I heard a voice say, I was too scared to look up, I know he voice, I can recall it, I know how she sounded whenever papa will play pranks on her and the thought of seeing her scared me.

What if she didn’t want to see me,

What if she didn’t ever want to be found

What if she is happy without me.

“She is hurt.” The boy yelled as he reached toward me, a tear slipped out of my eyes when I looked up and my eyes met his, he stared at me like he had never seen a human before, his eyes were on mine when I pulled away from him, I didn’t look away.

“You do not bring your prisoners close to my son.” She yelled, I could hear footsteps form behind and I didn’t have to turn to know who it was, I could feel his presence.

“Look at her, you know her-better than I do.” Gabriel said, I was only staring at the kid, how’s eyes were on mine, he could not staring at me too.

I know I look like her, maybe more than she looked like herself; I know I had every feature that she had maybe even more than she did too, and I know the moment she will see me, she will recognize me, she will know that her Elara is here.

“Turn around princess, let her see you.” Gabriel said, a wave of disgust wash over me when I thought of him, I bit my lips softly as I turned around and my eyes were on hers

It’s been so fucking long, I never thought I will ever have to see her, I never thought she was even alive, papa will be over the moon if he saw her, he will take her away from the eyes of the world if he had found her.

Her eyes were on mine, I didn’t know if she was happy or sad, all she did was stare at me, all she did was look at me as if she had seen the ghost. 

“Don’t tell me you forgot all about Elara, your first and only daughter.” Gabriel smiled. “She doesn’t look so much like you Lottie got anymore, she is married now, and she is the second of command to the mafia, you know what that means, I guess your husband didn't protect her away from the mafia.” He said to mom as he stared at me.

“Hello mom.” I whispered with a smile on my face.
