An hour later, I found myself in the bathroom I just needed a break from smiling at everyone and hearing them tell me congratulations.
It’s all overwhelming right now; I just wanted to be home with Adrian, I wanted to get the things off my chest, I wanted us to be complete honest because after what he did, I don’t think he is evil, he gave me peoer, he didn’t care what people will say, he didn’t care they will tell him his mafia will fall, he didn’t care that his men may be upset, he didn’t care for anything.
He did this for me, he fulfilled a part of my dream, he wants me to keep my papa’s name still alive, he wanted me to be someone, and it made me happy.
I washed my face one last time when I heard the door to one of the bathroom stalls opening, my breath hitches as I stared at it. For a second before I looked away
“Elara right?” I heard someone say and I could see her face through the mirror, she has been the one there, how long?. “I am Sophie.” She smiled at me.
“Hello,” I mumbled against my breath.
His ex, what did she want to tell me? I didn’t want to fight with her and I didn’t even want to have any form of conversation with her but yet, but I didn’t leave because I am not weak
I am second in command, I needed to show my authority, I needed to show that, I am in power here.
“You know who I am, did he tell you?”
“Does it matter Sophie, you are his past and nothing else, I am his present and his future, it didn’t matter what you were, how much you loved him, or how much he loved you,” I said when my stomach twisted in disgust. “It doesn’t matter if he told you he will get married to you and it doesn’t matter if you think that deep down he still loves you,” I stated.
“Well he does and the fact that he remembers me is more than enough, you know he only married you because of your family’s money and power, if you didn’t have any of that to offer him, he would not be here with you, he would not even think of getting married to you.”
“Tell me, Sophie, when did you guys have a relationship?” I asked, I didn’t want to yell, I didn’t even want her to think that she could have that much control over me, I wanted her to think I didn’t care “a year ago, two years ago.” I asked and I noticed the way her eyes twitched.
“What does it have to do with anything?”
“Tell me, do you think he will cheat on me and be with you, you said he is only with me because of money and power, do you think you are worth leaving that money and power, do you think Toya re worth everything, him having to lose everything because he slept with you, come on, do you think Adrian is anything like that.”
“You are an asshole, you don’t know him like I do, you have not seen him in the way I have and no one can ever care for him like I do, even he knows that, one will he will get bored by you and he will come to me, the way I see it, you should be scared.”
“The way I see it, I could have you killed and there’s nothing you can do about it, come on, it seems like you don’t come form the power and money and it upsets you, how about you form that powe and money so he can be with you and not be and don’t forget he was with you but he left because he didn’t want you, not because he found me.” I smiled at her
Who did she think she was
I know women like her and I hated the way she always believed, I hated the way they thought they could always get what they want because of tight dresses and make.
“You try your luck, get him to sleep with you and if you succeed, I will have you dead.” I smiled at her.
“Look at my husband or even talk about him one more time and no one will ever know what happened to you in the bathroom, do you hear me?” I asked as she stared at me. “You are beautiful as I am guessing you should be kind of smart too, you know better than to think of coming class to him, I can’t imagine the horror, you see the ring on my finger, he gave it to me and not you, remember I am not the reason he left you, you are.” I smiled before I walked out of the bathroom.

“What made you take so long?.”
“I ran into your ex, she is lovely.” I smiled at him. When he stared at me.
“What did she do? I will have- I took care of it, I don’t need you to take care of her, she just thinks she is better than every person here.” I said with a smile on my face.
He didn’t have to worry about any of this, I know her and I know she will not stop, she will do something to stop.
“She said she will sleep with you.” I said staring at him, waiting for him to speak.” And I told her if she did, I would have her dead, and if she thinks she will get what she wants she is wrong because you didn’t leave her for me, you left her for her.” I said and he smiled at me
I was about to speak when I saw her at the end of the room again.
I don’t have her time, at least not right now
