Jaycee's P.O.V.
I woke up this morning in a better mindset than when I went to bed last night. Ace came home early after dropping Janice at the bar and closed the office before closing hours with Shirley's help. I am just getting dressed when Ace exits the bathroom just getting out of the shower. He comes over and kisses me on the forehead before getting dressed himself.
"We have to leave here at eight this morning, I have to take the deposit to the bank then I will take you to pick up coffee."
"Sounds like a plan." I say happily. I finish getting ready and grab my things. I walk into the living room to wait for him to finish dressing. Once he's done, he comes out and we live together out the back door to the car. We make the deposit at the bank and get coffee; we enter the building through the back door where we both set down our coffee on our desk and start getting ready to open for business.
"Today is Wednesday, right?" Ace asked me as he stood in the entrance of my cubicle.
"Yes, why?"
"Carmella must have been really stressed out with what Janice did t you, she must have thought yesterday was Wednesday since she claimed it was three days until her wedding." Ace explained it to me.
"Or maybe because Friday is a busy day with the rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner and then the bachelor and the bachelorette parties." I suggested it. I then pick up my phone to finish making appointments for the Hunter wedding.
"Hey Baby, I'm going to order lunch for us."
"Ok."
"Mark starts today, right?"
"Yeah, he'll be here at three."
"Ok." He says and leaves to place the order. Brenda Sue walks in after Ace leaves to get the order from the diner. I walked over to her.
"Ace just left to grab lunch for us, I want you to maintain the front, if there isn't anything for you to do."
"Sure." She says taking some of her work with her over to the front desk. I get back to the cubicle and make a phone call to Justin on the appointment times which I made for next week with it being busy here with Carmella's and Ricardo's wedding on Saturday.
\[Hello, thank you for calling J&A Bridal Services this is Brenda Sue speaking. How can I help you?\]
\[I need a planner to meet with me down at the coffee shop down from where you are located. Now if there is anyone available.\]
\[One moment please.\] "Jaycee, there is someone on the phone that wants a meeting now at the coffee shop down the street." Brenda Sue relays the message to me.
"Ok, transfer the call over to me." \[Hello, this is Jaycee. How can I help you?\]
\[Hi, I would like to request a meeting with one of your planners that is available, but I need them to meet me at the coffee shop.\]
\[Your name please?\]
\[Clarisse Denver.\]
\[Ok, I'll be right there.\] I walk out of my cubicle and speak to Brenda Sue. "I'm going to meet with the new client, tell Ace where I am mat please."
"Will do!" She says as she goes back to her work. I then gather what I need and head out. I walked into the coffee shop where Ace, and I was earlier this morning getting coffee and looking around the room. I notice a shy looking woman off in the corner sipping out of a mug. After placing my own order, I walked over to her. "Are you by any chance Clarisse Denver?"
"Yes, please sit." She speaks. I take a seat and start pulling out the needed paperwork and planner.
"Your fiancé isn't joining us?" I asked her.
"No, he's giving me full control of the planning.
"Ok then. Here are the church pamphlets, you can look over as I get information from you." I say as I pick up my pen to start writing.
"Sure." She says she picks up the five pamphlets and starts to look them over.
"Ok, I have your name, but I don't have one for your fiancé."
"It's Henry O'Dell. And I want to have a Halloween wedding on October 30th." She says with confidence as she sips from her mug.
"Ok. Here is what this is going to cost you." I say as I write a handwritten invoice and show her the payment of services.
"Not a problem I saved up just for this day." She says taking another sip of coffee; I do the same then start talking to her again.
"Is payment ready for the planning book? If you do, will you be paying by cash, check or credit today? And do you want to buy our matching photo album?"
"Yes, and it will cash. How much?"
"That will $70.00."
"Ok." She says, taking out her wallet and handing me the cash. I put it into my deposit bag and continue with the questions.
"Did you pick the church?"
"I want it on the beach of this church, I want everyone including you and your team to be dressed up in Halloween costumes, I want orange and black carnations throughout which includes the arch and seating, and I want the same for the venue." She says demanding.
Back At the Office
"Brenda Sue Where is Jaycee?"
" At a meeting with a client."
"Here is your lunch. Where did she meet them?"
"The coffee shop down the street." She says, Ace runs out of the door.
