"I've touched base with him a couple times a week, but he's told me that he's got the offices all handled. Why whats going on?" Dom asked Marcello. "I called I'm about a month ago. As I was going through the emails like I do everyday and sending the important shit to your dad. The temp doesn't really do anything except of an evening and that's just to take calls. During the day I have the calls set up to come to my cell phone. While I was going through the emails I seen one about the contract on the piece of land that we've been trying to get. When I seen the email, I tried to call you first but got no answer so I called your dad. I filled him in on the contract and the agreement that we had all come to for the land. I filled him in on the last meeting that we had with the guy and the price that we had set. Well the guy sent an email stating that he wanted more money for the land or he wouldn't sell it and wouldnt say why. Everything was going through the lawyers but this email didn't go through his lawyer, he sent it himself straight to me. It made me suspicious as hell, so I sent it and the notes from the last meeting with the guy to your dad. Everything that I had about the land and the meetings I sent to Luciano. He went over it all and said that he'd take care of it. He let me know that you were coming back to Texas and that's why I couldn't get ahold of you. He said that he'd take care of it and get ahold of me once he knew something but I've not heard from him or my dad since. My dad doesn't even answer his phone when I call. Thats why I asked if you'd talked to your dad, its had me worried."

When Marcello got done talking Dom was pissed off. "Damn it, something has to fucking be going on. That old man was set on the price and assured us that he wouldn't raise it. Everything was a done deal the paper work just had to be rewritten and then we would all sign it. Something or someone made him change his mind. Dads not said anything to me about this but I'll call him about it. When I find out something I'll let you know."

"Thanks, make sure that you tell my dad to answer his fucking phone when you get ahold of them. Its pissing me off that I can't get ahold of him. "How is she doing? Hows the baby?" I asked him. "They are both doing good, shes going to be due for a doctors appointment soon though. So well have to figure that out before to much longer. "We're making dinner now and when we get done eating we're heading out to talk to the ones that we have in the sheds. We got a few new guests today as well. We're getting closer and closer. We just need to get the gang and then grab that fucking Russian and then we'll get you both back here" I told him.

Dom let Marcello know that he'd get ahold of his dad and then call him to let him know what was going on. When we got off the phone with him, Zeus and I finished up diner and Dom sat down at the island to call his dad. The phone was on speaker and when he finally answered his phone Dom said "Hey I just talked to Marcello and he filled me in. What is going on with the piece of land that I was trying to buy and the guy wanting more money?"

"We're still trying to find that out. The guy is never home when we go out there. I had Enzo and your brother go out there and put cameras up. We've been keeping an eye on the place and Mario is undercover right now trying to find shit out. Someone is trying to get more money out of you. I don't think its the old man selling it though. I think that it's someone that's trying to take advantage of the old man. Where just dont know who though. The emails are coming to me now instead of to Marcello. I have someone trying to figure out where the emails are coming from, but there being routed around and he's having trouble with it. I may have Zeus come in and check it out for me. I'll let you know if I need him. I gotta go though because I have another issue that I'm dealing with at the moment. I'll call you later" Dad said and then hung up.

We talked about what his dad said and we ate and then Dom texted Marcello and let him know what his Dad said. He tried to call him but didn't get an answer, lucky bastard was probably taking care of our woman. When we were done eating we loaded up and headed to the property with the sheds on them. It was time to get down to business and find out some information to finally help us, one way or another.
