338- Torn Between Fury and Hunger

338- Torn Between Fury and Hunger
POV Viktor Averwyn:

Everything was prepared.

I would spare my people as much as possible. When the attack began, I would use artillery, combat strategies, gunfire, or explosions. One trap at a time, monitoring sensitive points through cameras.

Hand-to-hand combat would only happen once they had lost a good portion of their armies and were no longer such a great threat.

We were just waiting for the first sign of invasion to sound the alarm.

Since nothing happened by midday, I went home for lunch. Cezar was on standby and would notify me if anything changed.

It had been a hectic morning. Since early on, I’d been sending the last shipments of precious stones and minerals to the capital, ordering the elevator to remain suspended and guards positioned at the top of the cliff in case of an attack from the river.

I spoke with several villagers who came to offer suggestions or volunteer to help. I didn’t stop for a second. And to make matters worse, Seraphine wouldn’t leave my mind. Disturbing me, distracting me.

I barely slept, too aroused, with a hard cock and heightened senses. It took a lot of willpower to think first about her health and physical safety instead of my own lust. I needed to deal with that so I could focus on the immediate problems, on the threats coming from other territories.

That’s why I got up as soon as the sun rose and jumped out of the bedroom. The little thief followed me in my thoughts, her scent clinging to my nose.

“Hi, son! How are things?” Daciana came straight toward me, worried, when I entered the kitchen.

“Everything under control.” I kissed the top of her head as she hugged me. She smiled and hurried back to the stove.

“I made something special for you. Your favorite: tochitura! Look!” She lifted the lid of a large pot where a stew of pork and sausage steamed.

“The smell is killing me!” My stomach growled.

“And to go with it, mamaliga with fresh cheese and fried eggs. There are also vegetables sautéed in herb butter. Are you eating now?”

“Of course.” I poured myself a shot of ţuică. “Where are Adelina and Seraphine?”

“I’m here.” My daughter walked into the kitchen. “She hasn’t left the room since she woke up.”

“She didn’t even come for breakfast.” Daciana frowned, concerned.

I found it strange. Was she feeling sick? Depressed after the fright from the night before?

Just thinking about her taste, the way she had offered herself, made everything inside me stir.

I downed the harsh drink and left to find out what was going on.

I passed the staircase, and the guard on duty greeted me.

I headed straight to my suite and opened the door. What I saw froze me in place.

Seraphine was surrounded by fabrics, scattered across the bed and floor, draped over her legs. She stopped with the scissors in her hand when she saw me. She had been smiling to herself, flushed, eyes bright. But she immediately turned serious and alert.

I shut the door behind me, stepping into the room slowly. I understood instantly what it meant, but the shock was so great that I thought it had to be a mistake. She wouldn’t go that far.

My clothes—those made by a village seamstress with such care and research, with expensive imported fabrics—were in shreds. Time, money, effort, everything wasted, cut apart by that tiny, insolent human.

Fuck!

I growled, furious, my fangs showing, my eyes burning with golden fire. Seraphine screamed in fear and jumped off the bed, holding the scissors in front of her like a weapon, her eyes nearly popping out of their sockets.

I advanced quickly.

“No! Stay there!” she shouted, too late realizing the mess she had made.

She stepped back, trying to defend herself. I grabbed her wrist at once, throwing the scissors away, my other hand closing around her throat. She struggled in vain as I slammed her against the wall, lifting her feet off the ground.

“No! Don’t… kill me…”

“Daughter of a bitch…”

Enraged, I lowered her slightly until she was on the tips of her toes, clutching my wrist, gasping and trembling. She froze when I raised my free hand in front of her face and my sharp claws began to emerge.

“Please… Viktor…”

Her voice slithered out, thin, weak, terrified.

I didn’t blink or show any mercy. If she wanted to see my beast, I would show it.

Her eyes fixed on the long claws, which could grow even larger. My strength was restrained—or she’d completely lose it at my increased size, my swelling muscles, thickening hair, expanding mouth. I held back most of the transformation, just enough to send her into panic.

She was on the verge of fainting when I raised my arm in a threatening motion. She shut her eyes and turned her face aside, crying, shaking all over. Terrified.

“You like tearing clothes?” I snarled, my voice roughened by the wolf, anger dripping from every word. “I’ll help you.”

“Ah!”

She screamed, out of her mind.

I drove my claws into the fabric of her dress, ripping it violently. I didn’t touch her skin. I went beneath the cloth, again and again, turning it into useless strips, tearing them off her body.

I did the same with her panties—destroyed, the remnants falling to the floor. She opened her eyes when I stopped, still growling, not releasing her. She stared into my eyes, horror frozen on her face, waiting for me to tear her apart too.

I breathed heavily, full of rage, even more because of her scent so close, assaulting my system. That was when I felt the impact of the punishment, catching me off guard. I lowered my gaze, seeing her completely naked for the first time.

My wolf strained to howl; I held it back. My heart raced, blood heated, my skin burned. It was a violent assault on my senses, all of them alert and short-circuiting. Savagery took over me.

Golden freckles spread across her pale, silky skin. Round, firm breasts with small flushed nipples calling to my mouth. A smooth abdomen, flat stomach, narrow waist. Living fire between her legs, in the soft hair I had tasted the night before.

Her hips were delicately rounded, her legs well-shaped and beautiful. Small feet. And that cascade of copper curls almost to her waist. A rough, loud sound escaped my throat, my temples throbbing with raw desire.

I wanted to bite her, sink my teeth into her skin and take her right there, fucking her hard against the wall. Until I drained myself, killed that hunger, ripped the painful need out of my body.

I didn’t move for a few seconds. Her heart hammered in her throat, pulsing against my fingers. Her light green eyes were wide, lips parted.

I released her abruptly, stepping back, taking her in fully. Beautiful, feminine, soft, delicious.

With effort, I swallowed the fucking desire, retracting my claws and fangs. Only my eyes still burned with that peculiar gold, my emotions still raging.

“You won’t have any more clothes. You’ll stay naked in this room. No towels or sheets to cover yourself. Do you hear me?”

Seraphine only nodded, pressed against the wall, the skin of her throat reddened from my grip. Silent, frozen.

I turned my back and walked out, slamming the door behind me. Possessed. Aroused. Furious.
