**5. Pinky**
***Emara Stone***
Huge!!
The building, doors, the ceiling. Everything is massive. People walk around looking like runway models in suits with files in their hands and phones in between their head and shoulder.
Honestly, I feel like a lost puppy in this big company.
"To where, sir?" A middle-aged man politely asks me. I look at him and the first thing that I notice is his faded red color highlight in the front of his brown hair. *Fashionable!*
"I am here for an interview. I am looking for a reception. Which floor?" I look him in the eyes and speak with confidence, just like how one male talks to another.
The liftman looks at me as if I pronounced his name wrong. He gives me a stare of a long five seconds. I stare back. Not willing to lose this staring competition.
After a few seconds, which felt like weeks, he said, "It’s right there, sir." Pointing to my left.
*Oh! Of Course, receptions are always on the ground floor. Stupid brain.*
I follow the angle of his finger and see a large C shape table with big football shape letters 'Reception' written on it. If there were alcohol in the background, it would have looked like a bar.
As I walk towards the reception, I hear a sassy tone behind me, “You are welcome, sir.”
I turn around to give the liftman a smile, "Pink suits you." I say while pointing towards his glistening hair. His eyes become narrow and lips come in a thin line as he murderously glares at me.
*Hah! You pinky.*
I walk to the reception like Tom Cruise does after blowing a car in the background. I see a female with excess makeup working on the computer. Her lipstick is out of her lip lines to make them look fuller. She looks at me, then smiles, knowing she caught me staring at her lips.
*Bish please! I was looking at the poor work of makeup. I could have done better on her face.*
She stares at me, my clothes, then at my hair. "How can I help you, sir?" Sounds impressed. "My name is Ethan Stone. I am here for an interview. Can you help me with that?" I say in a silky, manly tone.
She blushes and turns her head towards the computer screen, typing quickly like a rabbit. "You have to verify your ID from here. Then you are asked to wait on the fourth floor of the HR department. Also, make sure you re-read your resume. They ask questions from there only." She gingerly speaks while blinking her fake eyelashes at me.
I smirk at her as I give Ethan’s ID for verification. She again blushes. *Am I that pretty? Or handsome?*
Suddenly I see her frowning as she skeptically looks at the ID, then back to me with confused eyebrows. And then it hits me…
*Shit! That’s Ethan's ID*.
“I met with an accident last year and had a jaw reconstruction surgery.” I try to sound sad as I make a downcast, depressed face.
"Oh! I think you look just fine now. Here is your ID. Good luck and have a good day, sir." She smiles softly, but all I can see is her lipstick out of her lip lines. She blushes again.
*Stupid girl!*
I take the ID and give her a polite smile in return, then walk away. But suddenly I turn around to thank her and catch her checking out my ass.
*I think I don't need to thank her.*
Instead, I give her a sly cheeky grin and walk to the elevators where I had met pinky a few minutes ago.
"Fourth floor HR department." I speak in a husky tone while looking at him. I see a badge below his right shoulder which pronounce - 'Roger'.
He presses number four-button, not sparing any glance at me. The way from the ground floor to the fourth floor was silent. Deafening silence.
*Ding*
The doors of the elevator open. Before I walk I look at the liftman and sneer, "Thank you... Pinky." Saying the last word slowly.
"It's Roger and you are welcome, sir." His voice sounds stern and fists clenched to his side.
While leaving the elevator I smirk at him and snicker, "Roger that... Pinky."
Then leave with a smile worth charging a bulb.
