Chapter 495 Warren's Lover

Chapter 495 Warren's Lover

Ava always had a clear memory of everything about Warren.

Warren, the serious and dependable man in the Davis family, always made Skoda wonder why he and Esme, who were more laid-back, ended up raising someone as serious as Warren.

Despite Warren's serious nature, he never failed to bring candies for Peyton and Ava, a teddy bear for Peyton, and a wooden dummy for Ava whenever he went out. He never missed a beat.

As time went on, Ava noticed that Warren would always bring an extra gift home, whether it was a rare flower or a regular book.

Initially, Ava would get annoyed at Warren for hiding these gifts, but she later discovered that Warren had fallen in love with a lovely girl.

Esme mentioned that the girl was a commoner, not from a high-class background, but very charming.

Warren seemed to have stumbled upon her one day and became captivated by her stories.

The Davis family never pressured Warren to marry someone of equal status. If he truly loved this girl, even if she was a commoner, the family would welcome her with open arms, just like they did with all their exceptional children.

However, for Warren and his lover, the situation presented a challenge.

If Warren were to marry the commoner he loved, the difference in their social status would surely invite criticism from other nobles and even some ignorant servants, regardless of whether it became gossip in the Soth Empire.

Therefore, after discussing with his lover, Warren decided to trade his military accomplishments for everyone's approval of their unconventional relationship.

Skoda and Esme wholeheartedly supported Warren's choice. They were thrilled to see their children making their own decisions about their futures, especially Warren.

Despite their initial concerns about his reserved nature, they were now filled with nothing but good wishes for him and his newfound love.

Ava never got the chance to meet the girl who almost became Warren's wife. She was too preoccupied at the time, engrossed in studying swordsmanship and flitting around like a little sparrow, keeping herself busy with various activities.

In her mind, Warren would eventually marry that girl, and all she had to do was wait for the wedding day to give her a prepared gift.

But that day never came.

When Patricia arrived with the blood-stained flag, memories flooded back to Ava of the day her family's lifeless bodies were brought to The Davis Manor by carriage, with Esme standing beside her, looking fragile like a flower battered by a storm.

Her family had perished due to a conspiracy, and the girl who was meant to marry Warren had left her hometown in sorrow when Esme sent for her.

Since then, Ava had heard nothing about her. The only thing she recalled was Warren mentioning Verity.

Ava gazed at the ring in her hand. Though it was the first time she held it up close, she had seen the design sketch long ago.

Could that woman named Hestia be?

Ava hesitated to delve deeper into her thoughts. If her hunch was correct, why had Verity transformed into Hestia, and where was the real Hestia?

What lay behind this mystery?

Suddenly, Ava felt a tingling sensation in her nose, a prelude to tears welling up in her eyes.

She slowly lowered herself, burying her face in the soft blanket, shedding silent tears for this long-awaited reunion.

Meanwhile, at the Ramirez Villa。

Sounds that would make one blush and heart race emanated from Hestia's room.

If one were to push the door open and approach the bed, one would witness Quinton, the reputedly cold and serious elite knight, with a flushed face.

He was nestled against Hestia's chest like an eager lover, his nimble tongue caressing her soft bosom as her body moved beneath him. Hestia's waist arched, drawing Quinton in deeper.

"My dear, my Hestia, my love."

Quinton whispered, his actions unwavering. He lifted his head, meeting Hestia's tear-filled eyes, a pang of emotion gripping his heart.

He had brought the dizzy Hestia back to her room, with no intention of overstepping boundaries at the Ramirez Villa.

However, Quinton couldn't resist Hestia's pleading gaze. Whenever she questioned, "Don't you love me anymore?" Quinton surrendered.

Hestia craved his complete devotion and sought reassurance of their love through physical intimacy.

Recognizing this, Quinton's desire surged, and he almost instinctively removed Hestia's elaborate gown.

Even if it risked Edmund's disapproval.

With his sharp senses, Quinton caught the sound of someone deliberately passing by outside the door, their breath unsteady.

If Quinton wasn't mistaken, it was likely Edmund himself.

Rather than risking Edmund discovering Hestia and Quinton's inappropriate relationship, the sounds of Hestia's alluring gasps and Quinton's deep growls might provoke Edmund further.

Yet, for Hestia's happiness, Quinton proceeded. As Hestia wrapped her legs around him, Quinton nearly forgot his duties, wholly engrossed in this tender moment with her.

Later, as Hestia lay in Quinton's embrace, flushed and radiant, her complete reliance on him filled Quinton's heart, on the brink of overflowing.

"My Hestia."

Quinton gently brushed Hestia's sweat-dampened hair behind her ear, "Even if I express my feelings so fervently, can't I bring a smile to your beautiful face?"

Hestia absentmindedly lifted her head, meeting Quinton's stubbled chin, her eyes shimmering.

"I feel like I've heard that line before."
