Chapter 99 Chapter 0099
•LORENE•

“Hello?”

“Hi, Richie.” I giggled when he answered the call.

I looked at Andrea as he sat on his chair in his office, barely taking his eyes off me.

His bodyguards were standing behind his chair while an IT specialist was busy tracking Richard’s location and searching for sensitive information on his phone through the call.

Another IT specialist was busy writing a formal post about Richard’s actions with Natasha ever since she returned.

“Do you miss me already, Lori? Or did you call to threaten me again? I am tired of your little games and those of your friends. If they expected me to do nothing while they put Natasha’s life in danger, they’re wrong.”

My heart ached when I heard him say her name. Even after being with me for as long as he had been with her, he still loved her more than me.

When I remembered everything he did to me when he wanted her back, I got angry and wished to be the one to kill him with my own hands.

“Well, if you thought I would spare you after all you’ve done to me, you’re wrong. I’ll make you pay, Richard. This is only the beginning.”

“Oh, Lorene, it’s true when they say a leopard never changes its spots. How are you still threatening me? If you’re with Roman’s brother, tell him to stop threatening me and face me like a man because I’ll be waiting for him, unless he doesn’t have the balls to face his own battles.”

I looked at Andrea as his nose flared with anger. I rolled my eyes before answering.

“You’ll regret this, Richard. Don’t say I never warned you when you’re begging on your knees for your life,” I scoffed. “I’ll be at the forefront when you’re beheaded.” I hung up the call and turned to Andrea, who was boiling red with anger.

“Don’t mind him. He was bluffing. He’s scared wherever he is, Andrea.” I leaned toward him and sat on his lap.

“He mocked me,” he frowned, and I sighed when I saw the frown on his face and his hands clenching into fists instead of embracing me.

“He knows we are coming for him, and I want you to believe me when I say he doesn’t have what it takes to stand against you. You must teach him a lesson for calling you a coward.”

Andrea looked at me and instructed his bodyguards to leave his office, including the IT specialists.

After the door closed behind them, he leaned back in the chair and caressed my neck with his hand, causing a soft moan to escape from my lips.

“Do you love him?”

“What?” I scoffed, my brow furrowed in confusion.

“Do you still love him?”

“No, Andrea. We talked about this, and I told you that Richard hurt me and I wanted to get back at him for what he did to me.”

“You told me you were healing after what he did to you. So, would you be able to watch him die in my hands?” He asked, which sent a shiver down my spine.

“I want to be there when he does. He has taken so much from me, and I want to watch him pay with his life.”

“Good.” He pushed me off him, stood up, slammed my hands on the table, and pulled up my skirt.

He angrily removed my panties before he crouched and sucked my pussy. It felt so good that I couldn’t stop him from treating me like his slut.

“You’re mine now, Lorene. Say it,” he commanded as he stripped off his pants and thrust inside me.

“Hmm, I’m yours, Andrea,” I moaned, grabbing the edges of the table as he pushed in and out of me, barely giving me time to catch my breath.

“Good.” He growled as he pushed one last time and filled me with his cum.

I took a paper towel and wiped my thighs before fixing my dress.

“The body. Are you going to take care of it?”

“You’re mine now, so I’ll take care of everything that concerns you.” He leaned over and placed a soft kiss on my forehead.

‘Fuck. What did I get myself into?’ I thought when he pulled away, fixing his pants.

“Lori,” my mother squealed when I closed the door. “Thank God you’re home.”

I rolled my eyes and sighed. I came home to get my clothes I had left when I moved to my apartment, and I thought she would be sleeping.

Andrea was waiting outside for me and hated being kept waiting.

“I’ll get my clothes and leave.”

“No, please, you can’t leave me with Maverick. He’s making my life hell,” she complained as she followed me to my room. “Are you listening to me, Lori? You can’t leave me with Maverick.”

“Maverick is dead, and he died because of you, Mom.” I turned to her and frowned. “And I will never forgive you. You ruined my life.”

“Please, you can’t leave me here with him. He’s making my life hell, Lori. He’s everywhere I go, and I can’t sleep knowing that he’s buried in our backyard,” she cried. “Take him away from my house!”

“You’re the one who buried him in our backyard, so you’ll sleep here with him. I mean,” I scoffed. “Why would he haunt you after what you did together in the sitting room? Get used to him.” I turned around and got inside my room.

I took my things and tried to ignore my mother as she kept complaining behind me. She didn’t stop talking, insisting that I take Maverick’s body from her backyard.

Though I was planning to do that with Andrea, I didn’t want to tell her so she wouldn’t do something stupid.

“Get off my back, Mom!” I snapped, turning to her. “This is what you wanted when you went behind my back and slept with Mave. If Maverick is haunting you, I wish he haunts you to your grave.” I turned to the front door, twisted the doorknob, and left.
