Lucifer
It was so cute how Kid freaked out about getting married in a jean and jersey clearly, she wanted the wedding with a big dress and all the trimmings or maybe I should ask her but eloping doesn’t look like that is in the cards which is fine with me, I wanted a big wedding I mean this is the first time I’m getting married in over 200 years I think I’m entitled to a big wedding as well. As we approached the water, Kid was sitting on the edge of her seat, “Are we going to the Statue of Liberty?” “Yes, we are. I can’t keep anything from you.” “That’s not completely true you kept our engagement from me.” “I did.” I said with a smile on my face. “Are the two of you going to stay here.” I could see Angel didn’t really want to stay but he said “We’ll stay just be careful.” “Who is going to get us here Angel?” Kid said with a huge smile on her face. There was an answer on the tip of his tongue I could see it but he decided not to burst her bubble for which I was grateful.
I open her door and helped her out of the SUV; we walked towards the ferry and got on. The wind was cold on the water I could see Kid getting cold I wrapped her in my jacket and held her to me. “How many rooms where you thinking?” She asked. I had no clue what she was talking about. “Sorry?” “The house how many rooms do you want?” “Why do you ask?” “Well, I want at least 4 children so I would suggest a 6-bedroom house, I know there is no budget for the house so I’m sure we can make that work.” She said like she didn’t just drop a major bomb on me. I turned her in my arms to look at me “4 Children?” “Yes 3 is an uneven number and then you have the middle child syndrome story so 4.” “Jeez Kid I thought we will talk about this especially after what you father said happened to your mother.” “I know I know and I didn’t want to bring it up today but I’m just in such a good mood I want you to feel as happy as I am.” “Okay we can get a 6 bedroom but we start with one child if that pregnancy is good and you and the baby survive; we can talk about more but for now I’m saying yes to one.” “But you saying yes to a six-bedroom house?” “Yes, just in case.” “In case of what?” “Maybe the first one is twins?” “Still 3 bedrooms left.” “Can’t you just be happy with one for now?” I asked her pleading her with my eyes. “Yes, Lucifer I can be happy with one for now.”
Kid
We were on the ferry and I got my way again with one child but the possibility was there for 4 like I always wanted. I was the only child and it’s very lonely when your parents die so having more than one is crucial for me but I get it especially after what my father said I get why he only wants to start with one and I will give that to him, if I pressure him too much, he might say no and then I’ll be devastated. The ferry stopped at the Statue of Liberty and Lucifer and I got off. It was cold on the water but Lucifer had me wrapped in his jacket I’m sure people will think his such a gentleman withstanding the cold that I could get warm but he didn’t feel the cold but still it was nice of him to give his jacket to me.
We walked into the museum looking at everything it even had the original torch in the museum being an art freak and majoring in art, history is a big part of art and where it comes from so seeing the Statue of Liberty was such a privilege and reading everything, it wasn’t just nice for me but for Lucifer as well, it was like his never been here before. Both of us was reading everything we could about the Statue of Liberty. When we were done, we walked out and looked at the New York skyline, I had to take several photo’s it was so beautiful. “I think I was harsh on New York the first time we were here, this is really a beautiful city.” “You hand all the reason in the world to be hard on New York Kid but it wasn’t the city it was a person, one person that spoiled your first experience. I really hope the second experience was so much better.” “It was so much better and more Lucifer so so much more.” “I’m very happy to hear that.”
We both got back on the ferry as all the people made their way, I was happy Lucifer didn’t book a private boat, bouncing off other people’s energy was such a thing for me and the energy on the boat was electric we all saw something so beautiful and old if you are from South Africa, South Carolina or South Korea were none of us speak the same language we all enjoyed a part of history together and that was amazing.
Lucifer pulled me to the front of the boat clearly; he wanted some privacy. “What’s wrong?” “I want to ask you something.” “I already said yes.” I joked with him. He just smiled at me. “It’s not that love although thank you for saying yes again.” “Then what is it?” “It’s about Niki.” “Okay what about him?” “I’m wondering if we asked Heath to come and stay with us if we still need Niki to live with us. I mean we don’t really need Angel anymore but his linked to us so I can’t let him go but Niki, something isn’t sitting right with me.” I didn’t want to think about thing so important today but something wasn’t sitting right with me with Niki either. “Me neither. I don’t know if it’s the fact that he can’t touch me. Is that suppose to be warning signs I mean Heath is a vampire and he can touch me which tells me his not going to harm me but Niki I don’t know Lucifer, but that is your choice all I’m going to say on the subject is that he wasn’t keen on Adri neither was she of him.”
