Chapter 64 Simon
Evan couldn't help but laugh.
“Is this how you two fight often?”she asked, curious. Lord Raphael smiled.
“Why are you asking as if you don't know what kind of person Ezekiel was?”
“But at least I don't fight with him,”she lied, and Lord Raphael sent her a glare.
“Haha,at least not often like this,” she admitted, laughing harder.
They walked to the next shop, which was clothing. Each shop was extremely large. If you don't know your way, you might get lost inside of it. Evan couldn't risk getting away from them; if that was the end, she would find her way back using all day long and, to be honest, that wasn't her agenda at all.
She was here to have fun, not get lost. Looking at how decorative the place was made her shiver a bit. So big and beautiful. She didn't expect this place to ever exist. And with all the money she and Isabella had, she would like them to always visit here. Thinking about it made her lips lift up a bit. After entering the clothing shop, the shopkeeper approached them.
“Welcome, milord,” the man greeted, bowing slowly to show his gratitude.
“Come on, let's go inside. And get me some bloodtea to drink.” The shopkeeper nodded immediately, leading them inside the shop. Beautiful clothes were arranged line by line. Evan really wanted Isabella here immediately so they could shop as much as they wanted. She started buying multiple clothes of different brands. They spent more than two hours just seeing clothes. Evan bought four dresses and told the shopkeeper to pack them up. She bought a coat for Lord Raphael, which he was very excited about. Her mind drifted to Ezekiel, thinking maybe she should get him something.
But she saw he left the jewelry shop with a package but didn't buy anything for Lord Raphael.“How is that possible?” she couldn't help but ask herself. Just as they were about to go, she went back and selected five T-shirts of different colors. Lord Raphael refused to question her about that, telling her he was exhausted and would send one of his maids to buy her clothes as much as she wants.
Evan understood. He is Lord Raphael, of course, and was already getting bored of this place. Seeing his dullness, Evan suggested they go back home immediately.
As soon as they left the entrance of the shop, Zeke mysteriously came out as well, holding bigger bags.
“Haha,Zeke, what have you gotten in there?” Raphael asked, puzzled. Evan stared at the bags in his hand, trying to predict what was there.
Zeke ignored the lord. “I think we should head back. Bye.” With that, he walked away while Lord Raphael and Evan followed.
…
After reaching home, it turned out that of all those big bags Ezekiel got, Lord Raphael received only one T-shirt.
“Haha, what?” Evan threw her body on the sofa as she laughed. It was so funny. Meanwhile,
“Zeke, how ruthless can you be? Can't you see? I took Evan out for shopping, but you ended up buying almost the entire shop for her!”
Zeke sat down as if a statue was talking to him.Afterwards, he signaled the maid to get Lord Raphael bloodtea.
“Drink and calm down,”Zeke mocked as he sipped the milk in his hand.
To be honest, this was the first time Evan saw him drinking milk. She was happy that he bought almost everything she needed for her. She never knew that Ezekiel was behind closed doors, hiding inside those clothes, and every cloth she admired he took after she left. And like that, he bought all the clothes Evan admired, leaving none behind. Evan couldn't imagine this but just smiled to herself.
“I'd like to go rest in my room,”Evan said, getting up from the sofa and ready to leave the sitting room, only for her to be stopped by the lord.
“Evan,I'll be attending a teaparty tomorrow and would like you to attend,” he invited as Evan smiled at him.
“She won't go!”Ezekiel's voice pierced through the air like a blade.
Evan sighed. She doesn't want to be the root of this fighting today.
“Haha,Ezekiel, let her decide for herself. C'mon Evan, it'll be fun,” Lord Raphael urged as he took the bloodtea from the maid who offered it to him.
“Raphael, mind your business. I am also going to that teaparty; she'll be coming with me,” said Zeke, taking a long sip from the milk.
‘What the hell are these animals doing?’thought Evan.
“Haha, Zeke. Since when did you start attending teaparties? Because I want to go with Evan now? Huh?” Raphael said, placing his bloodtea on the table. At this point, Evan felt like disappearing.
“Why don't you go get yourself one of those random girls?Remember you're in my house.”
“So? You also can't force her to go,” Lord Raphael pointed out.
“Exactly,I won't be attending anything. And Lord Raphael, I think you should go home now and get some rest. I'll visit you one of these days within the week,” Evan said, looking into Ezekiel's eyes and smiling. Ezekiel wasn't disappointed. After all, he hates attention teaparties. Shaking her head, Evan climbed up the stairs. And after she was no longer in view, Zeke told the maids to go arrange all the stuff they had bought.
And then he too climbed the stairs. When he was halfway to the top, he glanced back, spinning around.
“Go home,Raphael. Sleep well; you and I have work, you know.”
“Work?Which work?” Lord Raphael called out, but Zeke was fast to run, leaving the lord mystified. After a while, Lord Raphael left for his house.
…
The next day,Isabella came to visit Evan, but she didn't come alone. She had run into the red-headed vampire at the gate, so she was forced to come in with him. They came in at noon and were both sitting in the sitting room. The room felt like hell, so suffocating due to the red-headed vampire's aura. Isabella didn't let her guard down as she also put on a menacing demeanor, hoping Evan would come downstairs soon.
