Chapter 132 132
Chapter 132 132
Kimberly’s POV
Nothing could have prepared me for what she did. She was on me like she was Ted to lie on top of me. And the impact of the way she came into me was me hitting my back on the very hard wall, and my head, and it made my whole body rattle down to the bone.
“Hey! W…. What are you d,,, doing?” I forced it out of my mouth.
She was breathing very heavily against me, and her face was in my neck.
Then suddenly, I felt something sharp on my neck. Was that her teeth?
“Hey, don’t you fucking bite me!” I shouted, and I heard her snort. It was like she was not even here anymore, and with all of the strength that I had pent up, I pushed her away from me.
“What the fuck?!” I shouted as soon as she was away from me.
My eyes were wide as I looked at her. She staggered on her feet. Then she looked at me with a very different expression, and she smiled, and everything went still in that very moment.
It felt like I was transported back to that night in the club. What I was looking at was eerily familiar and not familiar at the same time.
“What? Cat got your tongue? Are you shocked or intrigued? Which one of the two?” Her words fell over each other like she was drunk or maybe tipsy.
“Eh….., why are you like that?” I stuttered out, feeling myself press further into the wall. Is it possible for someone to come out looking for me at this moment? Or maybe I should just disappear. My mind was in so much disarray.
I’ve been gone for a while. Someone should have noticed and come to look for me.
“Don’t worry about anyone coming to find you. Because no one will. They are….. busy.” She said again. Her long teeth…..fangs already retracted, and she put her hands behind her, making her look like she was normal, which I knew that she was anything but with what she’s just shown me.
My heart was thumping very fast with the reality of what she’d just said. No one is coming.
What the hell?
The way I’ve not committed anything to heart since what happened at the club happened was because I did not have anything to do with that part of the world in this town, but it’s always seemed to be finding me.
“What do you want from me?” I asked in a shaky but firm voice. I didn’t even know if that was possible. My whole body was shaking.
My left hand was flaring up again. It was burning like crazy, and it was like that time too. I felt like everything was happening to me at the same time. It was like I would go crazy if I did not leave this place. One thing I made sure to do was not to take my eyes off of her.
“I want you dead.” She said plainly.
The silence that fell on the whole place after she said that made me feel like I was going to actually suffocate and do something that I was not supposed to do.
“You know, having Julian and London fans over you when you are just a new student is a crazy thing. I used to like Julian when we were much younger, but he was cold and aloof towards me. Not caring about me in a bit. He made me feel like trash then, and I hate him now. Maybe if I kill you, I’ll see him give a reaction.” She said with that creepy smile again.
“He does not give a shit about me. And you know this. You saw it firsthand.” I rushed out, and she scoffed, rolling her eyes.
“If you believe that show he put on, then you’re the stupidest person ever. Or maybe you’re more stupid than you actually let on.” She said, and I felt like I was stung.
“What?”
“If you think what he said in that hallway was true, then you have to have another thought coming. He’s obsessed with you. And that would make it worthwhile if I took you from him.” She started to walk towards me, and I unconsciously stepped back to be met by a wall.
I tried not to believe what she was saying. For all I knew, she was doing this for the vendetta she had against Julian and because London scorned her.
“Don’t do this. Whatever you are, you can’t you can’t attack me.” I tried.
“Vampire baby. Vampire. That’s what I am. I thought they were not real, but color surprised me when I met my master. Her gave me life from the miserable one that I had been living before now. You know, I’ll tell you that you’re a very clueless person. You trust people too much. And that is part of what will actually kill you.” I rubbed my hand to ease the burning and winced from how painful it got.
“I’ll die soon. My blood is ridden with drugs. And I’m sure vampires don’t like that, right? I’m on medication since my heart is not very good.”
“You smell good though. And he’s still with you.” She said, and I furrowed my brows in confusion at what she just said.
Before I could put my thoughts together, she was on me, and the struggle started again.
My head was clear, and the only thing that was there was to survive. I would not die by a monster’s hand. Talk less of her. We struggled together for long, and it felt like she had iron for grip.
I was starting to feel tired when I felt her fangs nick my throat, and I froze up. I surrendered.
She could do whatever she wanted. Or maybe I just don’t want to fight again.
I was closing my eyes. And the next thing I knew was that she was off me, and a sound like a crack came from somewhere. But then, I was being pulled under by darkness.
