Chapter 151 Linus Conspiracy.

Chapter 151 Linus Conspiracy.
LINUS’S P.O.V.

The air in the witches Kingdom no longer smelled of sulfur and old magic. It smelled of wet earth, death, darkness and destruction.

I walked through the shifting sea of shadow monsters, my boots clicking rhythmically against the stone. They were terrifying creatures. A creature that was now plunging the earth. Feared by all and defeated by none.

Even now, the vampires and Lycans had all gone into hiding, because the shadow monsters has penetrated the earth, killing every single creature in its part. It was worst than before, at least during Helios’s era, the creatures could still move and travel around a bit, but now no one could travel, because these monsters are everywhere and they had no feelings at all.

The only one who could travel was me. Monsters answered to their creators voice which is Thomas, and I was Thomas master, therefore they couldnt dare to hurt me.

As I moved through the shadow monsters, they parted like a dark curtain. None of them dared to touch me; none of them dared to even hiss. Their master have given them no permission, so they could not act.

I felt powerful in this moment. For centuries, our kind had been held back by the weak, the kind-hearted, and those who pretend to have a good heart. But look at the world now.

The Witches, the Dragons, and the Fae, powerful creatures in the supernatural world had been wiped clean from the face of the earth. Their kingdoms were nothing but ash and bone, fed to the very shadows. The Lycans, those filthy dogs who thought they were our equals, had fled their Kingdom and live in caves like animals.

And the Vampires, They were in hiding too, huddled together in the ruins of their palace, waiting for a savior who wasn't coming. The shadow monsters haven't attacked us yet because their lives were no longer theirs. They were mine, held in the palm of my hand, to be crushed whenever I saw fit. If I wish, I could order Thomas to unleash his shadow armies upon them, but I can't do that just yet. I'll leave it for when I plan to take the throne.

Khaos was gone. The great "protector" had turned tail and vanished like a coward at the first sign of a real challenge. And as for Kate and Domenic? They hadn't returned from their little search. Perhaps they were dead, or perhaps they were just too terrified to crawl back out into the sun. Well, It didn't matter anymore. Everything was going just as I planned.

Many lives were lost in the war, including the silver-haired witch, Druid. He had been a useful tool, a necessary sacrifice to fufill my goal, but he was gone now. The old world was dead, and I was the one standing over its grave.

I entered the Great Hall of the Witches’ coven, but the sight that met me was different than before. On the high, throne sat Thomas. The human scientist looked transformed. He wasn't the trembling, skeletal man We had first found in the woods. He looked invigorated, his eyes bright with a manic, god-like fire. He sat there, surrounded by the shadows he had birthed, looking down at the world he had broken.

"How does it feel, Thomas? How does it feel to be the a powerful King and have the world fear you?"

Thomas looked down at me, a slow, dark grin spreading across his face. "It feels... fantastic, Linus. It feels like the world finally makes sense. Back at the human world, I've always known about the supernatural world. No one believed me and everyone thought I was crazy, but behold I have succeeded in proving them wrong. Not only am I here now, but I have become powerful."

"I am proud of you, Thomas, Your genius has achieved what a thousand years of war could not. " I said, and for once, I meant it. I was happy that Im the one who found him and kept him for myself. The others must never know about him until all my plan is fufiled. I paused, my eyes narrowing at him, "I need one more favor from you Thomas."

Thomas leaned forward, his curiosity piqued. "Anything, Linus. Tell me."

"Create a creature for me," I said, my voice dropping to a low, dangerous hum. "Something that is more powerful than even the shadow monsters. Something that is more powerful than Khaos himself."

Thomas’s brow furrowed. "The shadows are apex predators, Linus. They have already conquered the world."

"But they cannot stand against the Beast if he decides to return," I argued. "The shadow monsters are powerful, yes, but they are mindless. I want a creature that possesses the raw, primordial strength of a god, but one that answers to me—and me alone."

Thomas tapped his fingers against the armrest, his mind clearly racing through equations and biology. "I can do that," he said finally, his voice hushed with a new kind of obsession. "I can synthesize a being of pure, concentrated energy. But for it to be possible... for me to give it the power to challenge a god... I would need the source. I would need Khaos’s blood."

I smiled. It was the smile of a man who was already tasting victory. "Do not worry about that, Thomas," I replied. "I will find the Beast. I will hunt him down in whatever hole he’s hiding in, and I will bring you every drop of his blood to you."

I looked out the window, where darkness and destruction were the only thing that has become of the supernatural world. "I will not rest until the Lycans are wiped clean from the face of this earth, and the Vampires are the only ones left to rule the ruins of this world. The age of balance is over. It is time for the supernatural world to have a new king that is not Khaos!"
