Chapter 25
"I don't want to stay here. So give this to your raya,"said a man with a hstam robe covering his entire body.
One of the soldiers who was there received a scroll of paper that the mysterious man gave him. After a while the men looked at the scroll and it disappeared from their sight. Soon after, Evan arrived with Steve in tow. The entire group bowed their heads in respect at Evan's arrival.
"Your Highness, they gave this to you,"said one of the soldiers as he handed Evan the scroll.
Evan took the scroll immediately and read it on the spot. The man's jaw dropped immediately after reading the letter inside.
"Get ready, the war is over. We're just waiting for the game,"Evan said, making everyone there widen their eyes.
"Tell them to gather in my room immediately,"Evan said to Steve before scurrying out of the room and heading inside.
Steve, seeing Evan's disappointment, immediately sighed softly. He looked at the head of the Prajunt who was also in the room with a serious face.
"You heard it, right? The battle is decided. Now our opponent is quite heavy. They are a wizard. We have to prepare everything carefully. After meeting with the other leaders, we will immediately formulate a plan. Get ready!"Steve explained before finally returning to the palace to carry out the task Evan had given him.
Meanwhile, Evan, who had just arrived in his room, immediately dropped his body onto the bed and closed his eyes with his left arm.
"Where are you, buddy?"Evan mumbled softly before finally falling asleep.
Alissya sat at one of the tables by the window, drinking a cup of coffee she had ordered. Her gaze was fixed on the people passing by outside. How long are you going to stay here? Alissya smiled at the girl sitting in front of her.
"Until i want to,"Alissya said, causing Thezza to roll her eyes lazily.
Yes, Alissya was now in a cafe in the human world. A place where humans bought food to fill their empty stomachs. After the girl's departure from the Derson Kingdom, Alissya decided to leave the immortal world. There was only one destination, the human world. A place that Evan could not escape to find.
The human world. A place where Evan could not find himself. But she was sure he couldn't have been looking for himself.
'He must have lived happily with the woman he loved,'Akssya thought. Fortunately, she knew that Thezza was currently in the human world. If not, she would probably be lost alone in a world that was very strange to her.
"I really don't want to interfere in your affairs. But I'm still not sure if Lord Evan loves another woman. Haven't you heard?"Thezza said, making Alissya sigh softly.
"I heard it very clearly. I'm sure the woman he loves is Princess Dani of the Wizard Kingdom,"Alissya whispered.
Uh, even this week she never stopped thinking about that man.
After some time in the cafe, they decided to return to their home immediately. But just as Alissya was about to return to her seat, they saw a Waruta coming towards them.
"What is it Flo?"Thezza asked confused.
Flora was the woman Jackson had assigned to take care of Thezza while she was in the human world. Of course, the man didn't want anything to happen to his daughter in a strange place.
"It's bad! There's going to be a war soon!"Flora said, causing Thezza and Alissya to turn around in surprise.
"War? How is that possible?"Thezza asked, incredulous at what she had just heard.
"Right Princess, Lon? Evan decided to laugh. I got the news from Lord Jackson."
Alissya's eyes widened in surprise. The girl's heart was racing. Her hands trembled violently. Never before had she seen a battle. But this one was deadly. Thezza, seeing Alissya's fear, immediately approached the girl.
"Calm down. Lord Evan is very strong, he is unbreakable,"Thezza said, trying to calm her best friend's fear. Flora bowed her head and shook it weakly,"but in this situation Lord Evan is weakened. It's happened since you left, Queen."
Suddenly Alissya and Thezza were shocked again. Akssya couldn't believe if what the woman before her said was true or not. There was no way.
Evan was weakened by her noise,"no way..."Alissya said, holding back a gasp.
"I told you, he must love Sya. He must feel very lost and it makes his body weak,"Thezza said, trying to convince Alissya to return to the kingdom.
"Nonsense, obviously i was listening to myself, Za. It is not because of me, she must be too tired to work, so the strength is quite drained,"Alissya said, getting up from her seat, leaving Thezza and Flora in their place.
Thezza and Flora sighed heavily. They didn't know what else they could do to convince Alissya. The girl was very stubborn and firm in her convictions.
"If you can't convince her, then let Lord Evan convince Missya together,"Thezza said.
Flora, hearing her, nodded her head in agreement,"you are right Princess. I will ask Lord Jackson to tell Lord Evan the whereabouts of Queen Missya."
"Sorry to make you return to the kingdom Flo,"Thezza said.
"No problem Princess, I'm happy to help you,"Flora said as she smiled at Thezza.
Finally they left their seats and went to their respective destinations. Thezza had to catch up with Alissya, who had left first, while Flora had to return to the kingdom to complete the task Thezza had given her.
Van leaned back in his oversized chair. His energy was low after what had happened to the palace officials and some of the other royal leaders. I'm sure they were discussing which Nicana to use for future wars.
Knock knock...
A knock on the door interrupted Evan's reverie. At that moment he ordered the person to enter his room. Shortly after, the door opened and Livia entered, smiling at Evan.
"Are you busy? I brought your tea,"Livia said, coming closer to Evan and placing a cup of tea on the table.
Evan agreed and had no intention of answering the girl's words. Even thanking the man was very reluctant. Livia, who felt neglected by Evan, tried to get his attention.
"If i may know, how do you plan to attack this witch?"Livia asked.
"You don't need to get involved, Lima. Warfare doesn't suit you,"Evan said.
"But i want to be part of this war,"Livia said sadly.
"I don't want anything to happen to you,"She continued in a low voice, causing Evan to raise an eyebrow."
Evan got up from his seat and walked over to Livia. One hand rose to stroke the top of the girl's head. After all he already considered Livia to be his sister. So it didn't matter if she felt good.
"You can't come with us. It's very dangerous out there. So stay in the palace and take care of the others,"Evan said before he left.
All the soldiers had practiced very hard. They would use all their strength to win this battle. Evan checked all the troops he would bring to the battle. But this was not enough, because soldiers from other kingdoms would surely join the battle, especially the witch clan, which he really needed to fight the witches.
"How are the preparations going?"Evan asked when he saw Steve's arrival.
"Everything is ready according to your orders,"Steve said as he bowed his head.
Evan smiled when he realized that the plan he had made so far was going well. Of course he would make a calculation about these witches. He would show no mercy to anyone who dared to disturb him.
