Chapter 172: The Waist Has Strength

Chapter 172: The Waist Has Strength

When I kicked Jamie, I barely used any force at all.

But Jamie clutched his butt and made a big fuss, as if I'd actually hurt him.

His yelling caught Jane's attention. When Jane looked over, there was a hint of confusion on her face.

I ordered Jamie, "Quick, stop messing around. Go find a dress for my wife. I want your latest design."

Seeing my expression change, Jamie stopped fooling around with me. Meeting Jane's gaze, he cheekily reached out and pinched my waist.

"Sure thing, Andrew. I'll go help your wife find a dress right away."

That pinch from Jamie actually made me feel shy. And you know what, aside from Jane, no one else has ever touched that spot on my waist. I absolutely love the gentle way Jane's hands feel when they hold my waist.

Jamie wiggled his butt as he walked over to Jane's side. With a mischievous smile, he leaned in and whispered something to her. Jane, who had been perfectly normal, suddenly turned bright red.

After joking around with Jane for a bit, he went to find her a dress.

Jane came over to me, lifted her delicate face, and asked, "What were you two just talking about?"

I put my arm around Jane's shoulder, lowered my voice, and said to her with obvious teasing intent, "He asked me if you, being so thin, could satisfy me."

Jane's face turned as red as mine. She looked around, and only after confirming no one was nearby did she glare at me.

She scolded me, "The stuff you guys talk about is really gross."

Faced with Jane like this, I suddenly felt playful and wanted to tease her more.

I said quietly again, "There are even more exciting things than this. Want me to tell you about them?"

Jane immediately refused, saying, "I don't want to hear it."

I continued, "You have to listen. Tonight when we get home and get into bed, I'll tell you all about it."

Jane was both embarrassed and flustered. She glared at me hard, pushed away my arm from her shoulder, and said, "I'm not talking to you anymore. I'm going to try on the dress."

With that, she turned to leave, but after just two steps, she came back with her head down.

I looked at her with some confusion, and she asked me, "Don't you want to know what he just said to me?"

I smiled to myself. Jane really can't keep any secrets.

I played along and asked her, "So tell me, what did Jamie say to you just now?"

Jane suddenly smiled mischievously. She stood on her tiptoes, leaned close to my ear, and said in a very seductive voice, "He said your waist is so strong that even playing all night wouldn't get boring."

After saying that, Jane's red lips brushed across my face, and then, before I could see her reaction, she turned and ran off.

Jane had caught me off guard with her teasing.

Tonight in bed, I'll have to carefully punish her once, just to let her know that crossing me always comes with a price.

Jamie has great taste. He picked out a strapless wedding dress from his latest designs for Jane. When that pure white wedding dress was on Jane, I felt like I was looking at the most beautiful woman in the world.

My eyes fell on Jane and I couldn't look away.

Jamie took the opportunity to come up to me with that shameless look and said, "Andrew, you've got great taste. I have to say, your wife is really beautiful."

"Now I get it. With all our years of friendship, why couldn't you be into me? Now I understand—it's not that you don't like me, it's just that you like your wife more."

I turned my head and stared at Jamie, signaling that he could shut his mouth now.

Unfortunately, my look didn't intimidate Jamie at all. He continued chattering away.

"Andrew, how about we make plans for the next life?"

I was busy admiring Jane's beauty and really had no mood to deal with Jamie's teasing.

I darkened my expression and cursed at him, "Get lost."

Seeing that I was really about to get angry, Jamie stopped teasing me and wiggled his little waist as he quickly went to adjust Jane's clothes.

We spent the whole morning at Jamie's shop. Jane tried on the wedding dress and party gowns, and I also ordered some other necessary clothes for Jane to wear to events.

This time, I spent quite a bit of money, and Jamie was thrilled.

Jane went to the dressing room to change, and I sat in the hall waiting for her. That's when my phone rang—it was an unfamiliar number calling.

I thought it was a client calling, so without thinking much, I pressed the answer button.

As soon as I answered, a familiar voice came through the receiver.

It was Nancy.

A few days ago, I had blocked Nancy's number. She'd been sensible enough not to contact me all these days.

As soon as today's call connected, Nancy's voice came through.

"Andrew, it's me, Nancy."

Nancy still used that affected voice of hers to talk to me. Before, I hadn't been too bothered by her voice, but now hearing it made me uncomfortable.

"Do you need something?"

Faced with Nancy's deliberate friendliness, I didn't feel much and just cut to the chase, asking what she wanted.

Hearing my cold tone, Nancy on the other end of the line couldn't help but start sobbing. Her crying made me feel disgusted—I've never liked women crying in front of me.

I frowned and had to repeat what I'd just said.

I asked, "Do you need something? If not, I'm going to hang up."

Hearing me say I was going to hang up, Nancy finally got anxious.

She dropped the affected voice and said hurriedly, "Andrew, the Lopez family and the Gonzalez family have been friends for many years. Do you really have to destroy the Gonzalez family completely?"

Hearing Nancy say this, I let out a light laugh.

I asked her back, "Nancy, do you have a comprehension problem? Am I the one who has to destroy the Gonzalez family completely?"

"It's clearly your Gonzalez family that's gone too far, hurting my loved ones again and again, crossing my bottom line. Doesn't the Gonzalez family deserve to be destroyed completely now?"

I no longer had any sympathy for the Gonzalez family.

From the moment they found Michael and tried to put Jane in danger, I would never forgive what they'd done.

Hearing my words, Nancy anxiously tried to defend herself.

She said, "Andrew, you say Jane is your loved one—does that mean your love for her has already surpassed Olivia?"
