Chapter 6

I don't remember anything.

I don't remember how much I drank last night, what I did afterwards, or how I got home. ..

OOh, right, Kenneth brought me back. Fiona asked him to pick me up, I remember that.

But I can't remember what happened between Kenneth and me after we he got took meback home. .

He's here with me now...

Kenneth slowly opened his eyes: "Do you have a headache?"

"It's okay."

My head wasn't throbbing, but I felt a bit nauseous.

Hangovers are not pleasant.

Kenneth sat up: "I'll get some food, food; you can sleep a bit longer."

He seemed to be in a good mood. ..

But, in fact, he's a wolf in sheep's clothing. Smiling doesn't just mean he's happy, there's a hidden agendablade behind his smile.

I sat up: "When you lefpicked me up at the bart last night, did I do anything?"

"Not really, you just were really got drunk. Why did you drink so much? Are you feeling down?"

I shook my head: "Not really, I've come to terms with it. I was too full of myself. I just graduated, just graduated; I should take it slow at workslowly."

"It's not because you just graduated, Cynthia. You're capable and ambitious. I'm not denying that ambition is a good thing, but..."

I chuckled lightly: "But it also needs to be accompanied by the corresponding ability, right? I understand."

Kenneth silently looked at me for a while, then sighed: "Perhaps, I was just too selfish."

"What do you mean?" I didn't understand his words.

Kenneth touched my cheek and chuckled softly: "You're so enchantingcaptivating, how can I say it to you?"

"..."

I will go get some food first." He turned around to get off the bed.

Suddenly, a voice came from outside:.

"Fiona?"

I was extremely terrified, so I quickly pulled Kenneth back and stuffed him under the blanket.

"Don't move."

I adjusted the blanket to make sure no one could tell there was a person inside, which relieved reassured me a little bit.

I stacked two pillows together and lay down.

The bedroom door opened, and in came..….

"Mom? Why are you here?"
