Trafficking Grown-Up Men

Bethany's POV

Anette kept complaining as I dragged her through the corridor that I saw the girl dragging the man into and I tried my best to tell Annette to shut up but the girl was not yielding. It was like she wanted us to get discovered.

"Don't you think we are too old for this undercover agent game..I mean what could possibly go wrong with some little girls dragging their boyfriends that are high in drugs out," she said unreasonably and I shook my head.

I knew there was no way that was true that is why I have decided to find out.

"So you think those perfectly unconscious men got high on drugs?" I asked and Anette rolled her eyes. "I keep telling you that you are too naive….." Anette was saying but she raised off when she saw the girls open a door that looked like it led to a basement and they dragged the men into it.

I and Anette exchanged looks and I gave her an 'I told you something was off' look as we looked at how the girls dumped the men to some guys in black and the men handed them some wads of cash.

Are they trading the men? But for what?

"Are they trafficking those grown-up men?" Anette asked not believing what she was seeing and I shrugged my shoulders. "We don't know that until we check," I say walking towards the door but we were surprised to find it locked.

"What? Did they not just enter this place now?" I thought about trying to kick the door but the door would not budge but I was surprised to hear a voice behind us.

"What are you looking for?" I heard the person ask and without turning I could tell the voice belonged to a girl and I did not panic knowing that I could easily take care of a girl.

I and Anette turned around to see the three girls had entered the room earlier and I wondered how they got behind us.

"We are….we are looking for the restroom," Anette says and I also nod my head in agreement. "Oh, really a restroom? Then I am sorry to inform you that you walked past it but how could that be possible? There was a large sign board saying," She said with a hidden meaning and I knew she knew what we were doing so I decided not to pretend.

"We saw you taking the men out of the club, where are they?" I asked and the girls burst into laughter immediately. I wondered if you said anything amusing but the girl's laughter was really irking me.

"I thought you were once a smart girl seeing how you have been following us but you outrightly ask me that kind of dumb question I take that back," she said and my eyes twitched hearing how she just referred to me as dumb.

"Dumb or not we do not care we just want to know where you take those me to," Anette said, taking a defensive pose and I smiled.

The girls chuckles seeing Anette's moves and they all exchange looks. "You girls looked pretty don't let us hurt you," they say but I sneered.

"I think that should be our line you should be talking right now unless you want to get hurt," I say my looks changing but I noticed a shadow movement behind me and I turned around immediately to see the men leading out the unconscious men and I growled but I noticed I was not the only one growling.

I turned around to see the girls shift into wolves and without thinking I also shifted into my wolf and crazy Beth growled loudly because it's been so long since we have shifted.

I watched as Anette watched the situation and she told me to go after the men first and that she was going to take care of the girls but One of the girls plunged towards me but I flung her away in anger as I made a run for the club's backyard in my wolf form and I prayed I would not run into anyone and scares them away.

I heard Anette's agony growl from inside the club and I knew they must have ganged up on her and I decided to turn around to save her but my steps halted when I saw the men I was looking for dragging a man into a van.

The back of the club was filled with trees which I still found weird but I made to chase them but immediately the men saw me they hurried the steps and ignited the van but I did not stop as I gave them a chase until I saw the van drive into the highway and I growled in frustration.

I shifted back into my human form seeing that I was out of the woods and I watched as the car zoomed off in speed and I hissed in regret. I lost them but something was obvious, they were going to do something bad with the men.

But what are they going to do with them?

"Why don't things ever work my way," I mumbled looking in the direction of where the van vanished into and I turned around trying to get something to cover my body since my clothes were gone already.

I wondered what the girls were up to kidnapping three grown-up men at a place where people could easily see them….were they not scared of getting caught?

"But I do not see Anette…" I was talking but I remembered that she also got hurt while chasing the men and I quickly rushed down towards her, cursing myself for being forgetful and pitying Anette for having a bad friend like me.

My mind went back to what just transpired earlier as I rushed towards Anette's side and I noted to myself to find out more about what was going on….I must find out.
