Chapter 221: Leaving No Room for Doubt

Chapter 221: Leaving No Room for Doubt
Alison pushed Jack away. “No way! Get away from me!”

How could he possibly ask for such wild lovemaking?

“Alison, I’m going to take a bath. Watch over me, okay?” He grabbed her hand and pulled her along.

He washed quickly. When he shook off the droplets, his eyes revealed his intentions.

She turned and ran, and he chased after her. Their laughter echoed through the mountains. When they tumbled into the tent together, the fire he’d just lit outside blazed brightly.

Just as he reached to undo her shirt, his phone rang.

He picked it up with a sigh and turned it off.

“Jack, pick it up. What if it’s urgent?”

“No, this damn caller.” He grumbled, snatching her phone and turning it off, too.

His lips descended, and his hands began to undo her clothes.
Each touch made her heart race faster.

They were swept away in waves of passion — this was lovemaking in its rawest, most untamed form.

Her long hair cascaded onto the blanket.
He kissed her lips, his fingers combing through her silky strands. Savouring the sweet scent of her hair, he wanted to fill her up completely.

“Alison, why didn’t you tell me four years ago?” he murmured.

“I was afraid those photos would be exposed,” she confessed, her heart heavy with fear.

“Silly girl. Why not tell me? That way, no one else will know. You wouldn’t have had to face it alone. I’ll always be with you, helping you.” He comforted.

“Really?” She returned his kiss; his words made her blush.

“Yes.”

Her eyes reddened as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “Jack, will Aimée harm Sophia? She was ruthless enough to abort her own child. I was scared…”

“Don’t worry. I’ll handle it, okay?” He comforted.

She nodded, her forehead brushing against his jaw.

He brushed her forehead with the stubble on his chin, recalling her earlier words. “So that time by the creek, Aimée deliberately tripped and pulled you into the water?”

“That’s right,” she replied without hesitation.

Jack fell deep in thought. He believed Alison, but he couldn’t fathom why Aimée would be so ruthless as to abort her own child.

He shook his head, unwilling to dwell on these troubling thoughts.

“Alison, no matter what happens from now on, please trust me, okay?”

“Okay.”

Her eyes remained shut, embraced by his scent, brushing away her unease. He held her close. After a while, as their heartbeats quickened, he released her and laid her on the blanket.

“Alison, let’s have another baby,” he murmured in a seductive voice, his gaze burning with desire.

Picking up the bottle of wine that had been prepared nearby, he took a sip and then leaned down to kiss her, sharing it with her.

“Mmm, what is this?” she asked.

“Wine,” he chuckled.

The wine flowed through her mouth, and soon, a warm wave spread from her throat to her abdomen.

“Jack, you’ll never leave me again, will you?”

“Yes.” He answered firmly.

“I love you, Jack.” She wrapped her arms around his neck, stood on tiptoe, and kissed his cheek.

It ignited the flames within him — made him eager to begin the night’s romance.

“Look at me, Alison,” he murmured, meeting her eyes — both veiled in a hazy mist from the wine.

His kiss landed on her eyelids, brimming with tenderness. When he lifted his head, she drifted like a weed on water, lost with him in the intoxicating dance of love.
