Chapter 113 I Want You
"Damn it!"
Jack muttered under his breath, feeling a wave of reluctance wash over him.
He hated that face. He hated that she had pushed Aimée, causing Aimée to be on bed rest, and his mother to nag him about it every day. But now, looking at her face, his resolve wavered.
Maybe he just didn't want to see her bleed.
With that thought, Jack sprinted back, bent down, and picked Alison up from the ground. She finally came to her senses and gave him a faint smile. "Jack, thanks for coming back." Seeing him return made her genuinely happy, even making her forget the pain in her leg.
That tone, that smile—why did they seem so familiar?
It was like Emily, who had been with him for three months.
He didn't say a word, as if driven by some unseen force, carrying her to his car.
Without a word, he placed her in the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt. She didn't say anything either. As long as he was there, she was willing to do whatever he asked. She still needed his help, to borrow that life-saving $1.2 million.
"Jack, just give me ten minutes. I'll get out of the car after ten minutes, and I won't bother you again." She spoke urgently, thinking he would really only give her ten minutes.
He turned the steering wheel and said coldly, "Talk."
He finally let her speak, but thinking about the $1.2 million, she found it hard to start. Her fingers twisted the hem of her shirt nervously.
"If you don't want to talk, then forget it." They were approaching a turn, and the car slowed down.
Alison's face turned pale, thinking he was going to stop the car. She hurriedly said, "Jack, I want to borrow $1.2 million from you, can I?" After saying that, she quickly lowered her head, her forehead touching her bleeding knee.
Money, again. How could two women be so alike? Not only did they look similar, but their intentions were identical. Emily had only taken $500,000 from him, but Alison was asking for $1.2 million right off the bat. Did she think his money fell from the sky?
"No." He refused without hesitation. He'd rather spend the money on another woman than lend it to someone with that face.
"Jack, I'll pay you back." His refusal threw her into a panic.
"How will you pay me back? By selling yourself?" He sneered, regretting putting her in the car. Why did he always soften when he saw this woman?
"Jack, believe me, I will pay you back. I just need it urgently right now, so I have no choice but to ask you."
"What for?" He asked nonchalantly, seeing her flushed face in the rearview mirror. Suddenly, he felt something. It had been a long time since he had tasted the owner of that face, and at this moment, he missed it.
"To save someone." She said simply, not daring to mention Jackson's name.
"Is it your child?" He first thought of the two adorable kids she had adopted. He had only seen their silhouettes that day, not their faces.
"Ah..." She was about to deny it when he continued, "If it's for your child, I'll lend you the money, but you have to pay it back immediately."
If she could pay it back immediately, she wouldn't need to borrow it from him. "I'm sorry, I'll pay you back later, okay?"
"No." He refused bluntly. With her sitting next to him, he wanted her.
As if to take revenge on her, he wanted her, wanted to ravage her, to vent the frustration and bitterness of the past three years on her.
"How... how do I pay you back?" She asked, trembling, her heart pounding as the shadows of the trees outside seemed to sway.
"Be my woman." He didn't know what kind of revenge logic this was, but at this moment, he didn't want to think. He just wanted her to be his woman.
Just a woman for him to toy with, nothing more.
"No, I won't be your woman." Three years ago, she had sold herself for a photo. She didn't want to do that again.
"Then get out." He said, really pulling over to the side of the road.
Alison instinctively clutched the seatbelt like it was a lifeline. "Jack, please, help me this once, just this once?"
"No. If it weren't for your language skills, I'd really think you were that woman. Get out, I don't want to see you again."
The car had stopped. Alison looked at the clock, then quickly said, "There are still two minutes left of the ten minutes. Jack, give me two more minutes to think, okay?"
"Be my woman." He repeated mercilessly.
Her heart was torn between agreeing and refusing.
She knew that if she refused, she would have to get out, and there would be no room for negotiation.
Without the money, she would be pushing Jackson and Erin to a dead end.
Anxiety was written all over her face. After much hesitation, she asked softly, "How long?" She knew he wouldn't want her to be his woman forever. After all, he was going to marry Aimée, and he hated her.
"Three months, until I'm tired of you." He was blunt, treating her like Emily. Saying those words gave him a strange sense of satisfaction, as if he was venting his anger at Emily.
His words made her feel humiliated, but she had no choice but to agree. Biting her lip, she whispered, "Okay, I agree to three months, but I won't be your woman."
He smirked. If she agreed to three months, what difference did it make whether she was his woman or not?
"Fine, as long as you come whenever I call during these three months." He waited for her response, then started the car.
She nodded slightly. "When will you give me the money?"
"In such a hurry?" He turned and smiled. "I don't want to talk about money right now."
His gaze made her heart tremble. She was once very familiar with that look.
It was the look he had before he wanted her.
"Jack, I'll send you my bank account number. Can you transfer the money by noon tomorrow?" Her hand was already on the door handle, ready to escape.
"Okay, deal."
"Then I'll get out now." She said, opening the door.
But as soon as she stepped out, he said from behind, "For that much money, you should at least sign an agreement with me. What if you take the money and run? And tonight, I want you."
His words made her freeze. He said he wanted her tonight.
For the $1.2 million, she had no choice but to get back in the car.
Everything was going as she expected.
Her body trembled, her heart in a state of panic.
She couldn't let him see the scar on her chest.
"Tomorrow, okay?" She asked tentatively.
"No." He refused coldly. "Tonight, I want the agreement signed, and I want you."
"But my child..." She was anxious.
"That's your problem, not mine. No one is forcing you. If you don't want to, get out." He said indifferently, his gaze sweeping over her pale face. For a moment, he really wanted to let her go, but then he thought of Aimée, still on bed rest, and steeled his heart.
With that face and her actions, he could do anything to her. Besides, his brother had made it clear he had no interest in her and didn't want her as his woman.
So, taking her was only natural.
He didn't need to consider Aidan's feelings anymore.
Her body was still trembling, memories of their last time together flashing through her mind. He had been just as ruthless then.
"Jack, can I go home afterward?" She didn't want to stay in his room overnight. It would only make her feel more humiliated.
"Okay, I don't want to share a bed with a woman like you either." He said indifferently.
He only wanted to play with her body.
