Steve kept her gaze fixed on Monalisa. And he wished it had been his wife, who had merely amnesia after the disaster. But isn't, the truth shining brightly in his eyes, that the woman isn't his wife? And it was only now that he noticed that they were identical, yet their complexions were different. The wife is white and has a flawless complexion. Monalisa has a brownish complexion.
When Monalisa finished arrange the food in the table."Sir, enjoy your breakfast!" She would have turned her back when the man spoke.
"Have you eaten your breakfast yet? If you haven't come to join with me, Monalisa." Steve said.
Monalisa was no longer concerned about the man's memory, which was incredibly keen. She just said her name once. But does she recall his name as well?"Sir, Steve. We are not allowed to eat with the customers, especially if we are in uniform," she explained, and even she memorizing the man's name.
When Steve heard Monalisa speak his name, he grinned."I'm delighted that you still remember my name, Monalisa."
like she wants to beat herself because she said his name. "Oh, you told me, didn't you, Sir?" No matter what she says, she can't even pretend. "Enjoy your food, Sir." Monalisa took a quick step to get away from the man.
Monalisa headed to the utility right away. She grasped her chest as the door closed. Because her heart was beating like crazy. "Ahhh! That's enough! Monalisa, you shouldn't feel this way about a man you don't know." Her one hand was held in one hand. And the ring on the ring finger was touched. She raised her hand and stared at the ringed finger. This is a wedding ring. Yes, Archie and she have it as a sign that they are married. They were together as a couple, swearing before the altar. But they're not yet married for real. But for Monalisa, they are already married. They will get married. They are still saving. Then she just wanted to marry them to the judge. But Archie didn’t want it. He wanted to give her a beautiful wedding at a beautiful church. Monalisa knew she loved Archie. But why was she like that to that man? There are many men who say that they like her, but she never felt that any of them. Her heart never moved even slightly. Sometimes Archie gets into fights because of it. She let out a deep sigh before leaving."Don't pay any attention to him, Monalisa. And forget him because you don't know him, " she said to herself.
When Monalisa came out of the utility, the manager greeted her immediately. "Where are you going? You already know we have a lot of customers! " He growled.
Monalisa knew she was wrong. "I'm sorry, Sir."
"All right, you go there, do your job well."
"Yes, Sir." Monalisa hurriedly left the boss.
At that moment, Steve had finished eating, and his eyes were rolling. "Where is he now?" Monalisa was the one he was referring to as he stood up as he headed to the counter to pay the bill.
When he finished paying, Steve couldn't leave. His heart wanted to see Monalisa before he left. This is what his mind says; see her before he goes.
She, on the other hand, hid so the man wouldn't notice her, as she was now on one side and spotted the man looking around for anything. He seemed to be looking for her. She is adamant about not having any sort of relationship with the man. She also thinks herself to be insensitive. He seems to like her. Maybe he wouldn't have denied and embraced him if she had been free. She believes the man is well-off and does not appear to be a cheater. She. Look to the side since their supervisor might notice what she's doing and dismiss her.
Steve came out of the restaurant with a heavy foot because he didn't see Monalisa. He looks at the restaurant. "I'll be back, Monalisa," he whispered.
Monalisa breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the man leave. Earlier, it seemed like the restaurant was too crowded for him. "Who are you hiding?"
Monalisa closes her eyes when she hears the boss's voice.
She prepared a sweet smile before facing it. "Sir, I'm just waiting for someone to call me to sarve," her alibay.
The boss's eyes widened. "Make sure that's what you're doing."
Monalisa knew the boss had a warm eye on her. Because of Archie, this is the one who recommended him because the two are friends. "Of course, Sir. Whom am I hiding? "
"Go now, what are you doing here?"
Monalisa quickly left her boss.
Steve goes home first to take a shower, and then he goes to his office. As he was driving, his phone was ringing. "Oh, it's Larry," he answered immediately."You finally turned on your cell phone, Larry," he said.
I'm sorry, Steve. I've just been busy here. these few months. "
Really? You've been busy for too long. You just visited your family, Larry. You don't even think about what you left here. I thought you would come back here soon. I think you're enjoying your long vacation there."
I'm really sorry, Steve. But we'll be home soon. And I'll be back. So, how's the project?"
Steve frowned when Larry said we were. "The project is doing well. Wait, what are you referring to we you said "we"? Who, Larry? Your family? " He doesn't think this is the family because they have never returned to the Philippines.
"Steve, I'm sorry if I didn't invite you to my wedding. So, my wife and I are going home. And this is what I'm doing here to prepare for my wedding. That's why I said, I am busy here, Steve."
"What? Are you serious, Larry? " He was a little shocked to hear it. Because suddenly, he got married right away.
"I am so serious, Steve. I will not miss the opportunity if I have found the woman I will love. Not anymore, Steve. I will lock her up forever. "
"Okay, congrats. You are deceived. If you tell me earlier, maybe I can go there to attend your wedding, Larry."
"It's urgent, Steve. I can't wait any longer. You know, it's necessary to catch up on the trip, "Larry laughed at the last thing he said.
Steve laughed too. We're still young, Larry. You don't have to chase it."
"We are in our thirties already. Our age is beyond the calendar, Steve. Bye, I'll see you soon. I just called to let you know I'm still alive."
"Crazy, go ahead and enjoy your happy moments with your wife, Larry. Bye! "
When they've finished conversing, he's thrilled for his friend because he's finally met his woman. How about him? He's been so lonely for a year. And he quickly remembered the first anniversary of his wife's death.
As Monalisa is getting ready to go home, she will pass Archie at the coffee shop. Suddenly, the cell phone rang to see who was calling. "Archie," it answered immediately. "Hello, Love!"
"Love, don't go to the shop, I'm not there anymore."
Monalisa smiled and said that he might pick her up. "All right, I'll just wait for you here, Love."
Ah, Love. Go home first, because Jong invited me to their house, you know."
Monalisa was disappointed with what she heard and wanted to get angry. Because she knows Jong is a bad influence, he's a womanizer, and sometimes Archie gets involved in what the man is doing. She said."You go home early, okay," but she knew that Archie would come back tomorrow.
If she goes home alone in their house, there is nothing to do and she could be bored. So she decided to go widow shopping first. For stress relief. She went to the Mall of Asia because there are many places to go to and you can see the beautiful sea at night here. As she was walking inside the mall, she came across a movie theater. She looked at what the show was. She enjoys the John Wick 3 movie that is currently playing. So she decided to watch it first. After all, Archie wasn't there until she came home, she was sure. She bought a ticket just in time for the show to begin. After a minute, the movie started. Monalisa is sitting comfortably; she feels so comfortable. Suddenly, someone asked her, "Miss, this seat is taken?" A man asked.
"No," she replied, her eyes focused on the big screen. She didn't care who sat next to her. What was important to her was to watch.
"Thank you!" He sat down."Why are you alone, Monalisa?"
Monalisa's eyes expanded, and she became jittery. Is it a tense or a happy heart? She recognizes the voice as Steve's. What brings him here? The atmosphere surrounding her shifted abruptly.
