STEVE went straight to his house. He wanted to follow the woman who looked like his wife. He just felt that he felt jealous, even though it wasn't right with the two's visible good looks. And he thinks that his wife is that woman. He went to the kitchen to see if there was anything to eat. When he saw the coffee, he made it this morning. He took the cup to discard the contents. He looked at the coffee being thrown away when suddenly his wife's face appeared. "What are you implying, Lisa?" he said as his face smiled at him. Steve dropped the cup and hurried out. He thinks that his smile means something.
Steve dashed to the Subway restaurant to see if the woman who appeared to be his wife was still there. "Damn it! I'm really stupid," he scolded himself. "I should have waited for them to finish eating earlier, to follow, and for me to know where they live." He sounded as if he wanted to yell. What happened to the wife in the United States? Is she genuinely no longer alive? He has no idea what's going on because he didn't see his wife's body. Is there something the mother-in-law is keeping from him? He was pondering a slew of questions in his head. He'll visit Lisa's parents tomorrow. He was devastated to have to return to his home.
Steve thinks a lot in bed, especially about the woman who looks like his wife, whom he saw earlier. Is it the wife, or does she merely resemble her? Are they identical twins? And who is this mysterious woman? Steve sat up in his bed, exclaiming, "Ahhh!" The mind is agitated. He got to his feet and walked over to the mini bar to drink some wine. Now he took a glass and began translating till he required it. He wished to forget what he had seen previously, even if only for a brief while in his thoughts. He will not get drunk. He despises the hangover and doesn't want to deal with it any longer. He only drinks when he needs to sleep.
When Steve felt that the alcohol had affected his body, he went back to his room and laid down. After a few minutes, he fell asleep.
Steve traveled to his in-laws' residence early the next day. He was instantly let in by the maid. He was offered fresh orange juice to drink while sitting in the living room. He expressed his gratitude to the woman by saying, "Thank you."
The maid simply nodded and walked away.
When the father-in-law saw him in the living room on his way downstairs, he remarked, "Oh, Steve, why did you have a surprise visit?"
Steve got up immediately when he saw his father-in-law. "Good morning," he said first. "Yes, Dad."
When the old man gets close to the living room, do you need anything? Sit down. "
"There would be, Dad. Where's Mommy? "he asked about his mother-in-law.
"She's going down. Do you need anything from her, Steve?"
For Steve, no more wandering around. It's important for him to know the truth. Actually, Dad, I'd like to speak with you and Mommy."
"About, Lisa?"
"Yes, Dad." Steve's father-in-law's face looked serious.
"Don't tell me you're going to get married right away, Steve? My daughter just died!" In the tone of his speech, there was mixed anger.
"No, Dad. You know, I really love your daughter. Marry someone else? I never thought that. "
"I thought this is what you would say, because I won't allow it. You must wait until the time has come! His speech suddenly became gentle.
The father-in-law is something Steve understands. Lisa isn't alive anymore. Steven had an epiphany and realized that he was rapt last night since he was missed his wife so much. And it's possible that the woman he saw last night is a doppelgänger of his wife. "Damn you, Steve. You don't think very well!" he was hostile to himself. But here he is, maybe it's not bad to ask.
As she walked down the steps, the lady asked, "Oh, how serious is the conversation between you two?"
Steve stood up again. "Good morning, Mommy," he greeted his mother in-law.
"Good morning to you too, Steve. What are you two talking about? "
"Nothing, Hon. Just a small talk."
The lady sat down next to the husband."I see, Hon. So what now?"
The father-in-law turned to Steve."Now you can tell us, what is your purpose, Steve?"
Steve sighed secretly. Somehow, he felt nervous. Well, I saw someone yesterday: Mommy and Daddy. And I couldn't believe it when I saw her. " Will he do it right? To tell them what he saw made him sigh in secret."It's up to them whether they believe what he says or not," he said to himself.
"You saw what, Steve?" The lady asked immediately.
"Lisa, Mommy!" he said, straight up.
"What? Steve, you're insane. Perhaps you're just hallucinating. What do you see?" There was surprise in the tone of the lady's voice at what the son-in-law said.
No, Mommy. I was wide awake when I saw that woman. "
"You mean I am lying? To tell you all that Lisa is dead, ha. Steve! " The lady was holding her temper.
Steve felt that the mother-in-law was holding back his anger."No, Mommy, that's not what I mean. I mean, if my wife has twins,
The couple looked at each other. There was a look of surprise on their faces."Twin? I don't think so because I saw only one baby that was my daughter in the hospital then!"
Even the gentleman had a surprised look on his face because he was outside where his wife was giving birth.
"But, Mommy, Who's that woman I saw that looked exactly like my wife? "
"Did you speak to her? Or, did you tell her that she was your wife, Steve? "
"No, Mommy, I just said my wife's name as they passed in front of me." And I just overheard her chatting with a man she said she didn't know."
The lady sways her head from side to side. "That's all, Steve? She hasn't met you. I think she only looks like my daughter, since if Lisa is still alive, she won't be able to return home because I gave you all of her documents."
Steve was completely speechless. The mother-in-law was completely correct.
"Give us evidence, Steve," the father-in-law said. Because even they are unaware that their daughter Lisa has a twins.
"Then I'll say goodbye. Mommy, Daddy. " He stood up.
"Wait, Steve. I gave you something; it's your wife's belongings. I just found it in my other bag. Why don't I give you together with her documents? " The lady got up and went up the stairs.
Steve sat down again. and drank the remaining juice in the glass.
The lady hurried up to their room as she came down. Steve, here's Lisa's wedding ring and engagement ring. These are the only things they saw in her burnt body. The credit card and ID, and whatever else she was carrying were all burnt, except for those two."
He took it and looked what his mother inlaw handed him. Yes, his wife things. Thank you, Mommy. I need to go now. Dad, I'll leave you!"
"Okay, drive carefully, Steve. You know, we didn't know the accident was just a wink, it was like your wife."
"Yes, Dad. Thank you for reminding me that."
When Steve was gone, the couple sighed. They know that he loves their daughter very much. "What can you say about what he said, Hon?" the gentleman asked his wife.
"I don't know what to say, Hon. But if he can prove to us that it's Lisa's twin, What are we going to do, Hon? "
"Let's wait. What will Steve do, Hon."
As Steve drives towards his office, he looks at the small box given to him by his mother-in-law. And he was sighing. Her wife is really dead. So the woman he sees is supposed to be his wife's twin. Because his wife is no longer in this world.
Steve proceeded straight from his workplace to the Subway restaurant, where he first noticed the woman who looked like Lisa. Also, perhaps, to see the woman again. Even as morning broke outside, he failed. Steve rotated between the office and the Subway restaurant where he hangs out. He failed to see the woman or the man, at least with her.
Days passed, even months, and he still did not see the woman. It was as if the Subway restaurant had become his home. because he's here every night. Even the staff They were mystified as to why the man was seen in the restaurant every night.
Steve feels like giving up. As the mother-in-law said, Maybe he was just delusional that night because his wife had just died. "This is the last time. I won't come back here again," he said.
He had just finished eating the sandwich he had ordered. When he stood up, Steve suddenly freezes for one second because he sees what he wanted to see. The woman who looked like his wife passed by. "She's?" He even ran out, and all the people watched what he did.
Steve ran fast over her. The woman was alone. "Miss, excuse me?" he said quickly.
The woman looked at Steve. Her eye asks. "Do I know you?
When the woman look at him. Steve, heart beating so fast. That's how he felt when he first saw and met Lisa.
