Chapter 51 The next part of her life
THIRD PERSON'S POV
In the Midnight club of the Amoled City near the Blood Martial Pack, a man sat in the private room; his eyes closed while his hand rested on a cane.
He sat peacefully, looking harmless, but only the men who had served him for so long knew the truth.
“What else?” He asked.
“Sir, the news is accurate. Your lady has been seen here. Due to some privacy technology, we can't find her exact location, but the detector stops near Blood Martial Forests. If we can get permission to search the premises, we might find her,” the subordinate said.
Permission to search? Was there any such term in his dictionary?
“Is her phone number being tracked?” The man on the chair asked, his eyes still closed.
“Yes, sir. However, we have lost the signals for some time,” The subordinate said, closing his eyes, knowing such statements might land him in deep trouble.
“That's alright. It's a hilly area. I know my woman the best. She must've gone hiking. Let her come back, and then I'll make my move,” Jarvin said before he opened his blue eyes and looked at the dancer before him.
He clearly described to the bar manager the kind of woman he wanted, but no matter how many girls he looked at, none matched his beauty.
“Sir, please have our best wine,” The girl said before she stood and leaned forward towards the man, her breasts almost rubbing in Jarvin’s face, a tactic they use to get more tips.
However, as soon as the girl did that, everyone in the room drew a sharp breath.
Jarvin closed his eyes for a second. He just wanted the woman to entertain him. Who allowed them to touch him without his permission? He only belonged to his woman.
“How dare you?” Jarvin's cold words echoed in the silent room before he drew his dagger, ready to slice her neck.
“Leave,” Jarvin's right-hand man pushed the girl away before the dagger could touch her skin.
Seeing the sharp, shiny dagger, the girl widened her eyes before running for her life.
Jarvin looked at his right-hand man but said nothing, knowing he was only thinking in his best interest.
“I want her. It's hard to function and survive without her,” Jarvin said.
The right-hand man nodded before leaving the room for a smoke.
It was worth mocking how one of the strongest mafia gangs in the nation was going round and round for a girl and neglecting the business.
Jarvin's left-hand man was already doing everything he could to keep the gang afloat and their people alive.
But he has his limits, too. They thought this madness would stop after the girl rejected their boss, but it only made him madder.
While they were mafia and blood and lust ran close to their business, they still had their morals.
Vex took a whiff of his smoke before taking out his phone.
His fingers lingered on the familiar number, and he contemplated messaging the number for the final deal.
At the same time, Dylan sat on the hill's edge, and Ericson walked out of the cottage.
“What's troubling you?” Ericson asked.
Dylan didn't say anything for some time.
“Do you remember when I saw her and knew she was our mate? I ran a background check on her; I never found anything related to a stalker. It makes me wonder who this stalker is and if he still threatens her,” Dylan said.
Ericson nodded.
“What about us? Are we ready to tell her the truth? That our original plan was to use her to get to her stepfather? For what he did to our sister, we lost our only family member because of him. That we wanted to hurt him by hurting her?” Ericson asked.
Dylan glared at Ericson, clearly understanding what his brother meant by those words.
After all, it was Dylan's suggestion.
“You wouldn't dare. You and I love her too much to let her go now,” Dylan said.
Ericson smiled slyly, a hint of self-mockery on his face.
While he loved Angelica with all his heart, he wouldn't lie that the idea of hurting Ronaldo didn't appease him.
They might not have to hurt their mate to do that, but…
“You still want to do that? Hurt her?” Dylan asked.
Ericson shook his head.
“I would rather hurt myself than hurt her. I just… it wasn't fair to our sister either. She didn't deserve what happened to her. And though I don't want to blame Ronaldo because the werewolf rules are like that, I just can't stop myself but desire to see him in pain,” Ericson said.
Dylan hummed.
No one said anything for some time.
“The mating process. When are we going to explain that to her? As much as it's new for us, it's more new to her. Don't you think it's better to start giving her a hint?” Ericson asked.
Dylan chuckled a little.
A hint? Heck, he already wanted to bury his dick deep inside of her and never pull out.
He wanted to touch her and keep making love to her. But at the same time, he didn't want her to think they only wanted her for their desires.
Though she was their mate and technically someone who would fulfill their desires, she was still a human who didn't understand how werewolves operated.
It will take her some time to adapt to everything.
It was already promising that she wasn't running away from them for life and acting like they were monsters, as they had expected her to.
As they both were busy talking about stuff, they didn't notice the glow inside the cottage in the room Angelica was sleeping, the light that emanated from her hand and was making her writhe in pure pain.
Angelica moaned in displeasure. No matter how hard she tried, something heavy pressed her eyelids, and she couldn't open her eyes.

In the Moon Dust pack, Marlyn sat on her bed, looking at the globe on the nightstand with an anxious expression.
“What is it, sweetheart? You seem worried,” Ronaldo walked to his wife before kissing her temple softly as he put on his shorts after a quick shower.
“Something is wrong with my sweetheart, Angelica. I think we should call her here for some time,” Marlyn said.
Ronaldo smiled at his wife before agreeing to her and ensuring that he would make the necessary arrangements so that the girl would not find out about their identity.
“Though I understand that you are not ready to tell her the truth, Marlyn, this time, it’s not just about her,” Ronaldo said.
When Marlyn didn’t say anything, he sighed and continued,
“She has gotten involved with the twin alphas, and the chances are they might not let go of her. You need to be thoroughly prepared for the next part of your daughter’s life,”
Marlyn looked at the globe, closing her eyes.
The next part of her daughter’s life? That was what she was worried about.
