Chapter 39

Chapter 39

Nora stepped forward in disbelief to confirm: "But Ms. Garcia, the contract we discussed earlier, didn't you say..."

Ella immediately cut her off: "There's no problem with the contract at all. We're very willing to cooperate with the Langley Group. Whatever conditions Ms. Johnson wants, I'll agree to them all."

Everyone's jaws dropped in unison.

What did they just hear?

They weren't dreaming, were they!

"Ms. Garcia, you just said the price was too high and non-negotiable, but now you're saying you'll meet Ms. Johnson's demands. What does this mean?" Nora gritted her teeth, completely dazed for a moment.

While she was still trying to process this, Nora helped confirm once more.

"Ms. Garcia, are you really sure you don't want to reconsider the pricing issue?"

"No need to reconsider." Ella smiled. "Whatever price Ms. Johnson offers must be the fairest. We trust her one hundred percent."

As she said this, Ella's eyes were full of sincerity, looking at Charlotte as if she were looking at her idol.

Are you kidding? This was Queen!

The person standing at the very top of the global jewelry design world! The person her company had been dreaming of working with, someone they'd only managed to collaborate with three times in three years!

So what if the price was eight percent higher? To be able to work with Queen, she'd be willing even if it were eighty percent higher!

Moreover, since Queen was here selling jewelry raw materials, the quality must be absolutely guaranteed.

She could use this to get closer to Queen. In the future, no matter what, she'd probably have a better chance than others to secure Queen's collaboration.

No matter how this deal went, she wouldn't lose out.

Nora watched from the side, feeling it was all bizarre.

She leaned in: "Ms. Garcia, are you sure? You don't want to negotiate further?"

Ella glanced at her, showing some impatience on her face, her tone cooling down.

"Ms. Langley, I've already made myself very clear, haven't I? We're willing to cooperate with the Langley Group. Why do you need to ask again?"

"But, but just now you said the price was too high..."

Nora still wasn't ready to give up, unable to believe that Charlotte could close this deal so easily, without even saying a single word to fight for the cooperation.

"Just now was just now, now is now."

Ella's face turned cold. "Someone as outstanding as Ms. Johnson has changed my mind! I also believe that with her guarantee in the Langley Group's sales department, the jewelry raw materials won't have any problems and will be worth the price I'm paying."

She paused, then added meaningfully, "Besides, in cooperation, price isn't important—the partner is what matters. I believe working with Ms. Johnson will be very pleasant."

"As for others, I won't consider them at all. If she's not the one handling my account, I won't continue the cooperation."

She was clearly telling everyone that she was signing this big contract purely for Charlotte's sake, and no one else would do.

She didn't think highly of anyone except Charlotte.

Nora's face turned completely pale, her lips trembling, unable to speak for a moment.

The deal she'd spent three months on and promised Victoria she'd close had just been secured by Charlotte so effortlessly?

Who exactly was this Charlotte!

Whether among the executives or the board of directors, there didn't seem to be anyone from the Johnson family.

Who had arranged for her to be here?

To make Ella willing to cooperate purely based on the person, she must have quite a background!

But right now, she didn't have a single clue.

Charlotte glanced at Nora's shocked and embarrassed expression, didn't bother with her anymore, and just made a welcoming gesture to Ella.

"Ms. Garcia, this way please."

Then she turned to her assistant Lily behind her.

"Go prepare the contract, according to the originally negotiated price."

"Alright, understood."

Lily was equally surprised.

She didn't even know what method Charlotte had used to win the client over.

If Victoria found out, she'd surely be proud of how outstanding her daughter was.

She turned around contentedly to get the contract.

Charlotte led Ella to sign the contract.

Before leaving, Ella specifically looked at Charlotte and said meaningfully: "Ms. Johnson, let's stay in touch when we have time."

Charlotte nodded slightly: "Sure."

After seeing them off, the entire sales department exploded.

"She actually did it? That's amazing!"

"The Sterling Group contract was signed just like that?"

"Didn't you see? Ms. Garcia barely paid attention to Ms. Langley, but when she saw Ms. Johnson, it was like seeing her idol. That's so strange."

"Who exactly is this Ms. Johnson? She's incredible."

"Don't rush to praise her yet. Doesn't this just mean our sales department will have to follow her rules from now on? Our work pressure is going to be huge."

Nora stood in the corner with her arms crossed, listening to their discussions, so angry that her chest heaved, unable to calm down.

Charlotte walked back to stand in front of her: "You lost the bet, right? My rules start today and apply to everyone."

She turned to face everyone.

"I'll personally supervise your work. From now on, the office area can't be so noisy during work hours, and you're not allowed to eat!"

None of the employees dared to make a sound.

She'd been here less than three hours and had already dominated everyone, even Nora was no match for her.

How would these employees dare to speak up?

Nora bit her lip, watching Charlotte act so bossy, so angry she almost rolled her eyes.

She turned around, suppressing her anger, and stormed into her office.

"Some nobody who came out of nowhere dares to act so arrogant in front of me?"

She took a deep breath in anger, pulled out her phone, and called her father Charles.

"Dad."

As soon as the call connected, she complained, "Dad! Some crazy person came to our sales department and embarrassed me in front of everyone today. Can you find a way to get rid of her? And who arranged for her to come here anyway!"

On the other end, Charles was silent for a few seconds before asking: "Are you talking about Charlotte?"

"Yes, that's her name, Charlotte."

Nora said through gritted teeth, "Dad, hurry up and find a way to transfer her. I can't stand her acting so high and mighty on my turf."

Charles pondered: "How about this—I'll come over in person after I finish what I'm doing."

Nora was immediately overjoyed: "Dad, you're coming to deal with her yourself? That's great! You have to help me get even with her."
