Chapter 109
The darkness in the room made her stumble on the body on the ground, and she fell on it, her hands getting soaked with something wet ... Blood.
She gasped in the dark, and the lights came back on after a minute, revealing Warren who's now out of the closet.
With the secretary's face on his face, Ixora was unaware that it's him.
"Silas?" She muttered, but his eyes widened instead, and that made her look down at what's in front of her.
She fell on her butt when she saw the dead body with the familiar knife stuck on it's chest.
"No..." Her heart flew off.
"Holy shit!!!!" Warren shrieked, attracting the cops who're outside.
They all rushed up the stairs, bursting into the room with their guns intact.
Meeting Ixora in that position added to their shocks, and their guns went pointed at her head immediately.
One of them felt Mrs. Ortega's pulse on her neck, and he looked up at the others.
"She's dead" he said shockingly.
An ambulance was called for, and additional cops, even the press.
"I...I didn't kill her..." Ixora stuttered shakily, her throat bobbing.
"I saw you...you fuckin did" Warren said under Silas mask, and her ears itched.
The voice might sound different right now, but she'd recognize that depraved voice anywhere.
Slowly, she looked up, and when her eyes met with his dark eyes, a tear rolled down her eyes.
Him.
It's him.
Her phone buzzed hauntingly, and she shakily turned it on to see a text from 'My Flame'
She changed it from W to My Flame last night.
My Flame: Memory loss? It only happens to losers which I'm not a part of. You aren't only good at lying, you're good at moaning too... impressive. And you love me? Tell that to someone who doesn't hate you madly. Rot in jail... Dirty. Little. Liar.
Another steamy tear rolled to her phone screen as her eyes widened so much, but the phone was taken from her by the cops, and sparkling handcuffs dangled in front of her.
"Ixora Rhodes, you're under arrest for the murder of Mrs. Grace Ortega"
\[Secretary Silas Place\]
The poor secretary is tied to the door of his bedroom, and he's wearing just his boxers as he was already in bed before the devils came for him.
Konstantin is sitting on his bed, fiddling with a hammer.
Capri is standing in the middle of the room, both hands in pockets.
Ashton is the one standing in front of Silas, pushing his chin up with cold fingers and eyes.
"Wh...what do you guys want from me? I don't..I don't remember doing anything to warrant your... visitation" Silas shivered.
"So you think this is a visitation?" Konstantin asked from the bed.
"Fûck, I wish I can hurt you" Ashton muttered, and Silas swallowed.
"Someone is using your fake face somewhere, so you have to stay put and listen good" Capri spoke, coming closer. His turtleneck shirt is higher tonight.
"I'll... I'll do anything... just don't hurt me" Silas gulped, his wrists straining against the ropes he was tied to the door with.
"You're aware of Mrs. Ortega's plots four years ago, ri?" Ashton asked.
"No! I know nothing! I became her secretary January this year!" Silas shook his head.
"And that's why you'll calm down and do as you're told" Konstantin said, leaning into his ear.
He whispered into it for three minutes straight, and Silas' eyes wouldn't stop widening as the words sounded in his ear.
When Konstantin was done whispering, he stepped back.
"Say no, and I'll kill you right here. Involve the cops, and your family in Seattle will suffer it" he said.
"I...I didn't say no... I'll do it" Silas replied fearfully.
"Good" Ashton said, and Capri released Silas from the door.
The poor man fell on the ground weakly, and the guys walked out of the house.
Getting into their car outside the house, Konstantin released a loud huff.
"Ug! I'll miss the tiny torments, but at the same time... she'd be gone. I won't have to see the bîtch again" he said.
"Why do I feel like we haven't even started anything" Capri replied.
"What do you mean?" Ashton asked, but Capri sealed his lips as he drove off.

\[Satan's Heirs Hideaway\]
Warren came back at past 11 after the real Silas switched places with him at the hospital where they took Mrs. Ortega's body to, for autopsy.
Arriving back at the hideaway, it was silent cos none of the guys are present, not even Anfisa.
Warren went to the bathroom and peeled off Silas' face mask from his face, then he rinsed his face with water.
He didn't bother wiping before coming out of the bathroom, and when he remembered how Ixora's eyes met with his own, he smirked victoriously.
She has no right to make him suffer that much with her fake testimony and then start stirring him again.
What happened in the cinema made him hate himself to the core, and he just realized he should have done this earlier.
He shouldn't have waited this long, but all's good.
She has been captured anyways, now he only has to push the scrabble letters very accurately.
There's no two-way about it. She's getting jailed.
Her parents might be Stonia and Rafael, but he has pulled enough strings to make sure that her parents connection and money won't be able to save her.
Also... Stonia was once involved in bribery—she's an hated ex vice-president, so ninety nine percent of the citizens will surely be against them.
He lay down in bed, but instead of seeing the ceiling, he saw nothing but darkness.
Pitch black.
Shit! It has started again.
His late night blindness.
He stood from the bed and pointed his right hand forward, blindly tracing his way to the scan room where Falsus is sitting on the table.
The bird understood what's going on.
Using it's beak, it brought Warren's eyedrop to him, perching on his shoulder.
Warren raised his palm, and the dove dropped the eyedrop on it.
He opened it and dropped the liquid into his eyes, then he stretched his hand forward again, walking back to his bedroom.
Not like the eyedrop will bring back his sight immediately, but it'll reduce his blindness period.
He lay back in bed, and Falsus sat beside him.
Within twenty minutes, his sight should be back.
