Estevan
Alexia walked through the door with a broad smile.
"It was a good visit," I said, and she approached me with her hands on my waist, her eyes that could light up the darkest of nights.
"It was great, your parents were able to stay with Thomas, it was really nice" she began "I think your father and I are getting on well now, just like Soraya and I"
I looked at her in surprise.
"Really, Alexia?" I asked excitedly "That's great!"
She nodded.
"It's been a long time since I've felt this relaxed, you know, without being afraid that at some point my parents will ask for my head"
I laughed incredulously.
"Estevan has something I'd like to talk to you about" Alexia's words made his expression change, I looked into his eyes waiting for her to continue.
"Is the news good or bad?"
"Good, I'm not sure yet, but..."
I looked at the guard and Alexia stopped talking, turning to him too.
"I'm sorry to interrupt the conversation, Your Highness, but King Acacio wishes to see you."
I nodded and touched Alexia's shoulder, who nodded back.
"Take me to him," I said to the guard, who straightened his posture and took the lead. I hurried down the corridors after him in search of my father. I thought he'd be in the throne room, but I was surprised when the guard stopped in front of a room.
I entered the room and saw my father and a woman with blue eyes and curly black hair.
"What's going on?" I asked, noticing the look on their faces "You wanted to see me"
"Yes" He walked towards me and held up a glass handing it to me, I looked at the bottle "Open it, smell it, but don't taste it"
I opened the unlabeled glass and smelled a familiar scent.
"What's that?" I said, "It smells like family.
"That's because that's the poison they used in your food Estevan" said my father, making me turn towards him "It has almost no smell or taste, it's very subtle, but a small dose is deadly"
I nodded.
"So we've found the culprit" I looked at the woman "Did you find this yourself?"
"Yes, I found that bottle in Lord Walter's drawers," said the woman.
"And why were you going through his drawers?"
"I was looking for money" The woman sounded ashamed of her act.
"She's a prostitute," my father explained, "but that doesn't matter."
He took the bottle from my hand.
"Wait outside," he asked the woman, who nodded and left, closing the door. "Walter has already been taken in for questioning, he just needs to confess to his accomplice."
"Counselor Marcelo"
Acácio nodded.
"I believe Alexia, but we need proof first" he said in a firm voice "By midnight we'll be able to get a confession out of Lord Walter, he'll give it all up for better or worse!"

Like a baby crying, the cloth covering my face and the melancholy heard, the whole kingdom mourned George's death, now over the sky of Torrem was my mourning.
His dragon flew over the area, I could feel it as if it were my own vein, my own blood, my own self.
The large black coffin and the flowering peonies he always gave me were perfect, as he had no favorite flowers.
I could feel the huge hole in my chest, but despite the sharp, constant pain, I was sure I had done the right thing by feeling the dragon.
No matter what the cost, I would have my revenge, that had been a promise I had made to myself after the kings of Olimper had taken my father away in a ridiculous death in the courtyard, a cold ambush, there was no more peace, there was no agreement, there was no conversation, I could visualize stabbing them with a sword, piercing two flesh and making them suffer so they would know what it was like.
I'll let the prince of Olimper watch his parents die and then he'll be next to kill Alexia.
All my efforts, all my sacrifices were centered on one face.
How had a maid come so far and become so important? How had she taken everything from me, even my name?
For a long time Alexia had used my name in her favor, even when the deadline for our agreement had passed, I knew she was jealous and that maybe I had been too kind to her, maybe that was why she had snuck around and plotted behind my back, I was sure that my parents' death was her fault and that now everything was different.
The anger I felt made my blood boil, I wanted to punch, scream, tear something up. Alexia was going to pay for the evil she had done to me and my family, after I had offered her freedom she had turned against me, if she had left Olimper in that forest between Zaim and Olimper none of this would have happened, but she had decided to turn against me.
She had seduced Prince Estevan and now wore a diamond crown on her head, it didn't seem fair that she should continue to live.
I clenched my fists, the priest was still saying his goodbyes, the rain wouldn't let up and the umbrella didn't seem to be enough for the splashes I felt on my cold skin.
I was freezing.
They began to lower George's coffin, great weeping could be heard meters away and I shed tears for George, real tears, tears of exaggeration for the situation, tears of guilty conscience and mourning.
I felt a mixture of things inside me when I remembered George and what we had experienced, but I knew that he wasn't the end of me, I deserved to be loved and so I would be again.
I threw myself on top of his coffin as if a flood was falling inside me, I felt my chest sinking along with it with tears that I didn't even understand where they were coming from and my ladies-in-waiting took me off the coffin and cried with me, their cries irritated me, I lifted my mourning veil to get a good look at the coffin as it descended, this was goodbye.
I threw down the flowers and waited, my feet hurt from the heels that were buried in the mud of the wet lawn, but I still stood.
"Leave me alone" I asked and looked at the servant who was holding the shadowy girl, I held her looking into his eyes "I want you all to leave me alone"
He nodded and went out into the rain, just like the ladies-in-waiting I had arranged for him after I became queen.
I looked at the pile of wet earth from which I was making mud, the hem of my dress was dirty and the cold was eating away at my bones.
"I wasn't a good wife, but you can't blame me. You could have been better too," I said, looking down at the earth. "You asked me if I had ever loved you, yes Geroge, at the very beginning I loved you."
I took a deep breath and wiped away the tears that seemed to have dried, I looked at the dragon that had landed on the field and threw the umbrella on the ground towards him, he lowered his head, he seemed to understand even before I spoke, without me having to do anything, with impeccable timing I climbed on top of him with difficulty due to the heel and holding on tight.
"It will be named after my father, Calixto" I said to him and looked up at the sky "Come on Calixto, fly!"
