CHAPTER 20

Saturday arrived with a suffocating weight that pressed down on Cameilla's chest. A sleek recording bracelet was strapped around her wrist, its design subtle enough to escape detection. It had cost her hundreds of dollars, but she didn’t care—it was a small price to pay for her plan.

She adjusted the coat that she wore over a sultry mesh gown, that evealed her boobs and ass. She looked in the mirror. Her reflection stared back at her—vulnerable, yet determined. Today wasn't about answers; it was about survival, and Harrison wasn't the kind of man who played fair, and she needed to be ready for anything.

Zayden's word echoed again: And your parents, I'm sure they don't want you to lose your innocent self in this.

"I'm doing this for them," she muttered firmly to herself firmly, as if saying it would somehow make it feel true. With a final glance at the mirror, she quickly walked out of the room before she changes her mind.

From her balcony, Daisy watched as Ben coordinated with her private security team. Cameilla's every move have been reported to her since she left her apartment.

"She’s meeting him at The Regal,” Ben informed her, handing her a dossier with surveillance photos of Camellia preparing to leave. “Do you want us to intercept her there?”

Daisy smirked. "No, let her go. I want to see how far she's willing to go for her little crusade."

Stepping closer to Ben, she trailed a finger along the scar running down his cheek, her touch both seductive and threatening. “Keep an eye on Harrison,” she murmured, her hand sliding down to squeeze his crotch. “He lets his cock think for him sometimes. If that little bitch slips through his grasp, you’ll step in and take care of her.”

Ben's breathing hitched as he nodded, his eyes half-lidded. "Understood," he moaned out.

Harrison waited in the private lounge of The Regal, a glass of whiskey in his hand. The air thick with the scent of cigars, and his men lingered outside ensuring their safety.

He checked his watch. Any moment now, Camellia would walk through that door, playing her part in his game. He admired her tenacity but found her naivety amusing. Did she really think she could outwit him?

The door opened and Cameilla walked inside. Her confidence faltered. She had spent the past few hours convincing herself that she could do it, but now that she is in Harrison's presence, her instincts seems to scream otherwise.

Harrison sat across from her, his dark eyes scruntinising her every move. She felt like a prey. Did he know or not? But there was no time to dwell on that. She forced a sultry smile, leaning closer. "I couldn't stop thinking about your offer," she said, her voice low and teasing, as she undid the top buttons of her coat, revealing her breasts, which were threatening to spill out.

Harrison swirled his whiskey, his eyes grazing over her exposed breasts before meeting her gaze. “Is that so?”

"Of course," she said keeping her voice light despite the fear surging through her. “You’re... an intriguing man, Harrison.” She leaned forward, placing a hand on his knee, her bracelet barely visible under her sleeve.

Harrison's eyes flicker to her hands, then to her face. He smirked again, his expression unreadable. "Intriguing, huh? That's one way to describe."

He leaned back in his chair, clearly enjoying her charm and attention, but his gaze remained sharp. Camellia felt like she was walking on a tight rope, one wrong move away from disaster.

She let out a soft laugh, brushing her hair back. "You're powerful, confident.... dangerous. It's hard not to be drawn to that."

Harrison chuckled, the sound low and predatory. “Dangerous? I hope you’re not afraid of me, Camellia.”

"Of course not," she said quickly, standing up as she sat beside him, her hands on her chest. "I find it..... thrilling," she whispered against his ears.

He raised his glass to his lips, his eyes never leaving her cleavage. "Thrilling? You've got quite the way with words."

For a moment, she thought she was succeeding. He seemed to be buying her act, leaning into her charm. She slowly pressed her breasts to his chest. The contact made Harrison's cock twitch.

But then, without warning, Harrison set his glass down with a loud clink and grabbed her by the neck, his face inches away from hers.

“You must think I’m foolish, right?” he said, his voice low and dangerous. Harrison threw her face away, moving away from her.

Camellia frozen, her heart plummeting. He knows. "What...what do you mean?"

Harrison’s smirk returned, colder this time. “Oh, Camellia. Did you really think I wouldn’t notice? The way you’ve been playing me, the questions you’ve been asking, this little act of yours.”

He grabbed her waist suddenly, pulling her arm forward to reveal the bracelet. "His eyes glinted with amusement as he examined it. "A recording bracelet," he said, his tone mocking. "Very clever. But not clever enough."

Camellia yanked her arm back, panic surging through her. "You're wrong. I was just—"

"Enough!" Harrison snapped, cutting her off. He stood, towering over her, his face a mask of fury. "I know exactly who you are! Cameilla Carson. You think you can dig up the past? Take me down?"

Her breath hitched, her fear barely contained. "So you admit it," she said, her voice trembling but defiant.

Harrison laughed, the sound chilling. “Admit it? Sweetheart, I’m not afraid of you or your little games. You’ve walked into the lion’s den, and now you’re at my mercy.”

She stood up abruptly, trying to mask her fear with anger. "You can't scare me, Harrison. The truth is already coming out where you like it or not."

Harrison smile faded, replaced by a cold, calculative expression. "The truth?" He mocked. "Have you forgotten—I'm the master of the game. You've made a grave mistake and you'll regret it than you think."

He snapped his fingers, and two men appeared by the door, their expression grim. "Take her phone, the bracelet and search her thoroughly," he ordered. "Strip her if you need to."

The men advanced, and Cameilla heart raced as she backed away, desperate to think of a way out. But before she could react the door burst open, and someone stepped inside, his presence commanding and unyielding.

Zayden.
