Chapter 86─Planning to help Mishka and tackle Bruce
“Oh, you will have to describe how these models look or point them out to me from a distance, then I will have a serious talk with them,” Bruce offered after clearing his throat nervously.
“Will it be safe to identify people who are close friends with a stalker? Won’t they really come after Mishka then?” Josh asked with a frown. He had stopped eating altogether.
“It will be okay, I guess, because they already saw me taking Theresa on in the woods. If she’s their leader then they will know that I’m not afraid of her,” Mishka responded with a shrug.
“It’s important to let people know that you know about their wrong deeds. It will be a good warning to them, otherwise they think that they can get away with anything,” Bruce stated in a slow, calm tone.
“But what if they get upset with Mishka for complaining about them to you?” Josh asked, his eyes filling up with fear.
“They can be upset for sure, but there’s nothing that they can do about it. I’m their boss. They work for me and so they can’t intimidate the people that I collaborate with,” Bruce responded as he kept his eyes on his food.
“Great, then it would be good to give them a warning,” Josh responded.
“I won’t try and make friends with them, though. They seem to be fiercely loyal to Theresa,” Mishka remarked, staring at her plate with a concerned frown on her brow.
“She’s actually just as loyal to yet someone else who might be the cause of all the trouble,” Bruce remarked with a pensive look in his eyes.
“Who? Is there someone else out there who’s actually out to attack Mishka?” Josh asked, his eyes big with concern.
“They’re just jealous. They wouldn’t dare to attack her,” Graham remarked before Bruce could respond.
“So, I guess they’re your friends or admirers who are possessive and don’t want you to befriend Mishka as a new friend?
Or is it because she’s a singer and also your friend?” Josh asked staring straight at Bruce’s head which he had bent over his food.
“Uhmm, it’s not easy to say exactly why they’re jealous, but they do seem to be threatened by Mishka because they don’t usually take notice of other ladies who are in my company,” Bruce responded in a hesitant tone.
“So, they’ve seen the two of you together often?” Josh asked as he faced Mishka.
“Not that I know of. Maybe that girl who stalks me. I’ve only seen Bruce twice in the forest really,” Mishka responded.
“I can’t let them know that I’m aware of werewolves, like right here where I’m sitting now,” Mishka told herself as she kept her eyes on the food.
“I can’t tell them about the night when I was wearing a mask either, because that doesn’t count. I wasn’t here as myself,” she thought further.
“Then who’s the one whom Theresa is trying to please?” Josh asked with a concerned look in his eyes.
“Oh, actually, I’m dealing with both her and Theresa, trying to distract them,” Graham answered with an excited grin in his face.
Josh and Mishka looked at Graham with their brows raised high in surprise.
“Are you a private investigator as well as a model?” Josh asked.
“I’m just trying my hand at being a help in this situation. I’m good at seducing all kinds of females,” Graham replied with a slight grin on his face.
“Frightening, but it will be good if it gets Theresa and her friend away from me,” Mishka told herself inwardly.
“As long as you know what you’re doing and you can keep them interested in you instead of Mishka,” Josh responded as he continued to look at Graham.
“I will have to tell Josh that these people are actually werewolves otherwise he won’t understand their secret powers,” Mishka thought to herself.

So, are you sure that he’s the foreigner who’s coming tonight and he’s also a powerful wizard?” Myrtle asked Ivan while he stared into the water.
“Yes, he’s from the east it seems and he’s making new social connections here,” Ivan responded, nodding.
“Great, so you’re picking up a sign that he’s definitely gonna be at the party tonight?” Myrtle asked keeping her eyes glued on Ivan’s every move.
“I just saw him at a ball that hasn’t happened for real yet. So, it has to be the one that you’re going to,” Ivan responded, still looking into the water.
“He’s gonna make big changes around here,” Ivan sang in a sweet tune.
“I just hope that he can help me get the werewolf out of Mishka’s life.
Imagine, a werewolf in the family. No way,” Myrtle murmured with her eyes narrowed in determination.
“He seems to be very powerful, like royalty actually.
Will you be able to pay what he will quote you for his services?” Ivan asked, turning his eyes from the bucket of water to face Myrtle.
“I will have to make a sacrifice and do everything in my power to get his assistance,” Myrtle replied.
“That sounds like a desperate attempt. Will you go to extremes, then?” Ivan asked, carefully studying Myrtle’s face.
“Well, for one I’m going to need a lot of assistance. I will need people around me to support me.
I need you to come to the ball tonight, for instance,” Myrtle remarked looking straight at Ivan.
“Me? But you know that I don’t go out. I don’t do socials anymore because it’s not practical. What if I change into cat form unexpectedly?
And another thing is that I noticed a lot of wolves at this party that you’re going to tonight,” Ivan replied.
“That’s to be expected, but do you think that the wolves will outnumber us and attack you when you’re in cat form?” Myrtle asked as she slowly lifted herself up from her chair.
“Are you assuming that they will change into their wolf form as soon as I change into cat form?” Ivan asked with his eyes stretched wide from curiosity.
“I thought that’s what you’re afraid of. Isn’t it?” Myrtle asked, frowning at Ivan.
“You’ve been in cat form unusually long today though,” she added, still studying him, but in surprise this time.
“They would be blowing their cover if they changed into their wolf form at the party,” Ivan responded as he tugged at his beard in contemplation.
“You mean that some of them are hiding their identity? Could this guy who’s after Mishka be a secret wolf then?” Myrtle asked with her eyes big as the thought struck her.
