Chapter 274 You Drive me Wild
Chapter 274 You Drive me Wild
Amelia's POV:
He chuckled, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Don't worry, love. You don't have to do a thing. Let me take care of you."
Before I could protest, he gently maneuvered me, guiding me onto my stomach. My breath hitched as his hands slid over my hips, lifting them slightly. The shift sent a fresh spark of anticipation through me, despite my fatigue. His touch was firm but tender, and I felt the warmth of his body behind mine, his cock already hardening again as it brushed against my slick folds.
"Luke," I whispered, half-begging, half-encouraging, my voice muffled against the pillow.
"Shh," he soothed, leaning down to kiss the back of my neck. "Just relax."
He eased into me slowly, my pussy still sensitive from before, and I gasped at the stretch, the angle deeper this time. His hands gripped my hips as he began to move, each thrust steady and controlled, reigniting the heat in my core. The sensation was overwhelming, pleasure mingling with the delicious ache of being so thoroughly claimed. I clutched the sheets, my body rocking with his rhythm, soft whimpers escaping me.
"God, Amelia," he growled, his voice thick with need. "You drive me wild."
His pace quickened, the sound of our bodies meeting filling the room. I felt him thicken inside me, the pressure building again, and with a low groan, he thrust deep, his release flooding me once more. The warmth of his cum sent a shiver through me, and I trembled, my body sagging into the mattress as the last waves of pleasure faded.
Luke collapsed beside me, pulling me close, his arms wrapping around me protectively. My mind was hazy, my body heavy with exhaustion and satisfaction. I barely registered the soft kisses he pressed to my temple as I drifted off, my last coherent thought the comforting weight of his embrace.
Despite promising Luke I would take it easy and focus on my health and wellbeing, I couldn't help throwing myself completely into planning Sweet Amber's charity event. Every day was filled with calls to vendors, meetings with sponsors, and endless spreadsheets tracking donations and expenses.
"Remind me again," Luke had said one evening when he found me buried in sample menus, "who was it that promised me two weeks ago she'd hand everything over to the professionals?"
I'd glanced up with a sheepish smile. "I know, I know. I just can't help myself."
"You're incapable of letting go, aren't you?" His tone was more affectionate than accusatory.
"Guilty as charged." I'd shrugged. "But in my defense...We can't afford any mistakes, I know you've hired a professional team, but I need to personally oversee everything to make sure it's perfect."
Monday morning found me still buried under the warm covers. I remembered how Luke had practically carried me to bed last night.
"Amelia, it's almost midnight," he'd said, gently closing my laptop. "The spreadsheets will still be there tomorrow."
"Just one more hour," I'd protested, stifling a yawn. "I need to finalize the silent auction catalog."
Luke had shaken his head, his expression a mixture of exasperation and tenderness. "You promised me no late nights, remember? For our future little one."
"But—"
"No buts." He'd scooped me up from my office chair despite my weak protests. "You're going to bed even if I have to carry you there myself."
And he had, depositing me onto our mattress with a tender kiss. I'd fallen asleep almost instantly, my body apparently more exhausted than I'd realized.
While reviewing the event timeline, I suddenly realized something – my period was several days late. Considering we had been actively trying to conceive, this discovery left me both excited and hesitant to hope.
"Morning, beautiful."
I opened my eyes to see Luke entering our bedroom with a breakfast tray, his hair still damp from the shower, smile warm enough to melt butter.
"Hey," I replied, sitting up as he placed the tray across my lap. Fresh fruit, toast, and a steaming cup of coffee.
The moment the coffee scent hit my nostrils up close, my stomach lurched unexpectedly. I must have made a face because Luke immediately noticed.
"Something wrong with the coffee?" he asked, concern etching his features.
"I don't know," I said, pushing the cup away slightly. "The smell is just... really strong today."
Luke's eyes narrowed slightly as he studied my face. "You look a bit pale. Are you feeling okay?"
"Just tired, I guess." I picked up a piece of toast instead, not ready to share my suspicions yet. "I've got a lot on my mind with the charity event."
"Remember you promised to slow down a bit," he reminded me, his hand covering mine. "For our baby-making plan."
I couldn't help but smile at that. If only he knew what might already be happening. "I know, but this event is really important to me. Those kids at the medical foundation are counting on these donations."
"I understand," Luke said, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "But your health comes first. Promise me you won't stay up all night working?"
"Promise," I nodded, squeezing his hand.
"What's on your schedule today?" he asked, sitting beside me on the bed.
"Meeting Alexis at Maple Café to go over some charity event details," I replied. "She has some great ideas for the silent auction portion."
"Don't forget we're taking the kids to Central Park for a picnic at six," Luke reminded me.
"I wouldn't miss it," I assured him, all while mentally calculating dates in my head again. Could I really be pregnant already?
"Okay, what's going on with you?" Alexis demanded, setting down her latte with a thump. "That's the third time I've caught you spacing out in the last fifteen minutes."
We were tucked into our favorite corner at Maple Café, event planning documents spread across the table, but my mind was definitely elsewhere.
I glanced around to make sure no one was listening, then leaned forward. "I think I might be pregnant," I whispered.
Alexis's eyes widened dramatically. "What? Are you serious?" she gasped, nearly spilling her drink.
