Get Rid Of Her

\[Nadia’s POV\]

I storm to my car, and once I’m inside, I punch the steering wheel again and again until my knuckles begin to drip with blood and pain races up my arms in an attempt to calm me from the fiery rage that has taken over.

“That bitch!” I growl, remembering the way Rosco’s precious wife acted with him. “You won’t be acting so smug for long.”

Letting out a growl, I reach for the ignition but stop as the sounds of moans and grunts reach me. Fuck! Were they really fucking right after I left? I couldn’t take it, and I wouldn’t. If Rosco wasn’t mine, he wouldn’t be anyone's, and if that meant that I had to eliminate all obstacles, I was willing to do it.

Revving the car to life, I speed out and head straight for Byron’s office. That bitch, Denali, had to have a weakness, and I just needed to find it, and once I did, I would ruin her. I would make her pay for even thinking that she had the right to have Rosco.

“He’s mine,” I hiss, clawing the steering wheel. “And he can only be mine!”

With this thought in mind, I continue on my way, and when I arrive at my destination, I jump out of the car and make my way to Byron’s front door. When I reach, I slam my hand against it and then step back until he appears shirtless and covered in sweat.

“Nadia?” He says, looking around as if expecting someone else. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”

“I need a favor,” I announce, shoving my way in to find a naked woman laying on his couch with a look of annoyance on her face. “Get out,” I snap, leaning down and picking up her dress. And when she doesn’t move, I let out a growl. “I said get out!”

“Who the hell are you to tell me that?” The woman demands, tearing her gaze from me and fixing it on Byron, who now stands behind me. “Byron?”

“You heard her,” Bryon huffs. “Get out of here, Natalie.”

At his words, the bitch's eyes grow wide with disbelief and then fill with rage before she gets up and pulls on her clothes.

“Don’t think that you’ll get a second chance,” she hisses as she passes by Byron. “You’re lucky; I even..."

“Yeah, yeah,” I sigh, motioning for her to get out. “More like you’ll never have the chance to have someone as good as Byron ever again.”

It was the truth. Not only was Byron my father’s beta, but he was also good-looking with his six-foot-five height, broad build, and chiseled face. And his one gold eye and one blue peeking through his shaggy blonde hair made him that much more handsome. He was a catch, and even I knew it. But the only man I truly wanted was Rosco.

“Whatever,” the bitch huffs before storming out so that Byron and I are finally alone and can get down to business. “I hate you!”

Turning, I let out a laugh as Byron examines me curiously, and when he moves forward and slides his hands around me and pulls me against him, I know that he is getting the wrong idea.

“First off, ew,” I say, pushing him away. “I’m not about sloppy seconds. You were literally just fucking another bitch. Second, I didn’t come here for a good time.” Although right now I wouldn’t mind it since he was hiding a monster beneath those low-hung sweatpants, “I need you to research someone for me.”

“Who is it now?” He sighs, giving me a look of disappointment. “Another fly hovering around your dream man?”

“His wife,” I confirm, narrowing my gaze. “The bitch appeared out of nowhere, and Rosco is head-fucking-over heels her.”

Did Rosco like the innocent type, and that was the reason he was so protective of her? Would he have been interested in me in the past if I was less headstrong and outspoken? I didn’t know, but I wasn’t about to change for a man.

“And what exactly do you want me to find out about her?” Byron sighs, running a hand through his hair. “Dirty laundry? Background? Weaknesses?”

“All of the above,” I beam. “Anything that will ruin that bitch.”

Nodding, Byron turns and heads into his office, and once he is seated, I wrap my arms around his neck and lay my head on his shoulder so I can see what he finds.

“Do you know her name?” He asks, beginning to type. “Family? Pack?”

“Denali,” I respond while trying to remember if I knew what her last name was or which pack she came from. “That’s about all I know.”

“Should be enough,” Byron mutters, opening up a registry for the city. “There can’t be many with that name.”

For a moment, he doesn’t speak as he begins to scroll through the names, and when he comes to rest on one, I feel his triumph.

“Found her,” he announces, clicking on a file so that her picture and information appear. “Seems she is the daughter of the alpha of Emerald Moon.”

“Emerald Moon?” I repeat, raising a brow. “But I thought Anastasia was the daughter of Emerald Moon.”

Everyone knew about Anastasia since she got around and was well known for blackmailing those that she slept with. She was a whore and a disgrace, and she was supposed to be the only daughter of Emerald Moon.

Then who the fuck was this Denali, and why was she listed as the only daughter? I didn’t know, but I would find out, and I knew the perfect person to go to to get all the answers I needed.

“Can you be a good boy and get me Anastasia’s number?” I purr, sliding my hands down Byron’s chest. “I want to give her a call.”

A low rumble escapes Byron as his dick twitches.

“Careful,” he warns. “If you keep that up, I’m going to fuck you right here on this fucking desk.”

“Mmmm,” I murmur, nipping at his neck. “I’m going to have to take a raincheck. Before anything, I need to speak with Anastasia. When I finish, if you’re good and get all cleaned up, I’ll come back to you.”

“Promise?” Byron growls, grabbing my chin and making me look at him. “You know I hate being lied to.”

“I would never lie to you,” I assure him, leaning forward and kissing his lips. “Everyone else, maybe, but never you.”

Satisfied with my response, Byron turns back to his computer and continues going through files until he finds the number I need.

“Thank you,” I beam, beginning to dial. “I’ll be heading out now, but I expect you to be ready for me when I get back.”

“Cuffs?” He asks, giving me a look of expectancy.

“Of course." I grin. “Like I would have it any other way.”

Blowing a kiss, I quickly dial Anastasia’s number and then bring my phone to my ear, and when the line connects, I head out the door and back to my car.

“Hello?” Anastasia’s irritating voice chirps from the other end. “Who is it?”

“It’s me, Nadia,” I respond. “Sorry to call out of the blue, but I was hoping that you could answer some questions for me.”

“Me?” She asks, seeming genuinely surprised. “Depends,” she continues. “What exactly is it you want to know?”

“I want to know the deal with your sister Denali. Are you willing to meet with me for a bit and tell me about her?”

“Why do you want to know?” She asks slowly, clearly testing the waters. “Don’t tell me she has done something to offend you.”

“She took my man, and I want him back.”
