Chapter 49: Leaving the Past
AMELIA's POV
My chest heaved like I had just run a marathon. I wasn't ready to hear anything from her at that moment. I've been pretending all these years to become with the way she had treated me but not anymore.
I then grabbed my bag, my fingers trembling, hoping I was making the right decision. What I got inside the bag wasn't much, it was just my journal, a photo of my Dad and also some clothes.
“You are not going anywhere," she spat. “Don't dare step your foot into this house if you leave."
I had already held the doorknob with my hand. I stood for a while as she said that.
“You're a very ungrateful child, after all the sacrifices I made you're actually planning to leave.” She said,
“Mom, you did nothing for me, you only encouraged me to do the wrong things. You controlled me, that's all you did.” I turned, my eyes meeting hers.
For a few seconds, her face went pale. I had thought I saw something flicker on her face but it vanished quickly.
“I hope you don't regret this." She muttered.
I smiled. "I would rather regret it than stay with you.”
Williams standing by me was so assuring, we left the house, not looking back.
But I knew peace isn't found in staying sometimes, so leaving was the best option to take.
There was silence in the car as we drove home. Williams opened the door for me when we got to his apartment.
The apartment wasn't as big as his father's mansion but I love it that way. It made him look like every other normal guy. I really can't stand the standards of his rich family.
We got into the house, I was so tired and exhausted. Williams decided to message my legs. I loved the way he took care of him, this was to say I was safe in his hands.
I pressed my phone while he continued with the message, I noticed him staring at him.
“What? You want to say something?" I asked.
“Yeah, I just wanted to be sure you made the right decision."
“Yeah, I'm sure of everything I'm doing, right now we just have to focus on that of your family. Your mom still doesn't like me so what can change that?”
“For now, I don't know and I don't think she will like you anytime soon. We just have lots to plan and do." He said.
I knew he was right, I was going to make Mrs Taylor like me, even if it means destroying Cindy.
After thinking about that twice, I decided not to think about dealing with this matter that way. I don't have to destroy her, but my hatred for her still stands. No one is supposed to like someone pushing herself to a guy who feels nothing for her anyways, I thought. Trying to justify my thoughts.
“What about Erica? When is she coming to visit again? I'm missing her already." I said.
"Nah, not today, she can come over tomorrow.” He said.
I nodded. " That's fine by me then.”
I was still trying to be cool with everything, hoping it was for the best.
I was enjoying the message, he moved down to messaging my calves and foot, “Thanks love." I said with a low voice.
He smiled. " Are you saying that because I'm messaging your legs?”
"Nah, stop being silly, you know I always love you.”
"How can you prove that to me now?” He asked.
"Just message my legs and leave me alone.” I said.
“Leave you? That's not gonna happen."
“Then how do you want me to prove that right now?" I asked.
Williams fixed his gaze on me, I was trying to read what he was trying to say from his face.
"Nah, no way…nah…I'm not doing that." I said, laughing out loud.
“Do you have a choice?"
“Yes, I do." I muttered.
“You know I'm you man, officially now right? You should not leave me this way…”
I smiled. " You're so funny, I'm not doing that.” I said.
“You have to." He said, tickling me on my waist.
“Stop…stop…”
He always has his way of getting me. He pulled out my breast from my bra.
“Fuck…this is huge.” He muttered, waiting for my reaction but I didn't say a word, I was just patiently waiting for him to grab it into his mouth and suck it hard…he always does it the way I want.
He finally grabbed it into his mouth. “Ouch, I love it." I said, with a low voice.
"I know you do love it." He muttered. “Should I stop?"
“You're not stopping babe, you move down to my pussy after this." I said, smiling.
Williams laughed. " I thought you didn't want it at first.”
" You made me change my mind.”
I watched as his tongue danced over my nipple, swirling and teasing. I could feel my spine curve as he sucked harder. I closed my eyes as he sucked it harder, I was drowned in the heat of it. Williams' eyes were wide with hunger and mischief.
“I see, you always act like you won't fall apart." He laughed, his mouth glistening.
"I melt and don't fall apart.” I muttered, with a low voice. I knew he was right.
Then, I watched him kiss me downward, it was deliberate and slow. I could tell he knew what he was doing.
I could feel his hand slide beneath the waistband of my red panties. I watched him pull it down gently. Something sparks between my thighs as he kisses me each time.
He stopped, when his lips reached my lower belly. “Why did you stop?" I asked. My voice was dipped in desperation while I was breathless.
Just then, he stared at me with an angry look. I thought I had done something wrong to me. “Lucas keeps calling you, why?" He asked.
"Cone on, it's not what you think. He won't just stop calling.”
“Don't lie to me.” He snapped. " I thought you were done with this guy, he should stop calling.”
“He just keeps calling but I don't pick up and I don't call back." I said, “Is someone jealous here?" I asked.
I didn't know why Williams was suddenly asking about Lucas.
“I will make it clear to Williams I'm you man, he should stay away from you."
That was so sweet. He can do that.
I pulled the sheets over my chest, my heart was pounding on my chest, I then sat up. “I never asked Lucas to call or message me. But I'm so sure he's not over me. You saw how messy he was with me, didn't you? But I'm going to talk to him about it so you don't have to worry yourself.”
" Are you over him?” He asked.
“Of course." I said, but the heat between us was still there, it hadn't cooled.
“There's no way I would have let you touch me if I was still in love with him. Stop acting jealous." I said.
But still I knew Williams ain't believe me, you can do the talking himself, for all I care.
