Dexson reentered Caroline's hospital room. Seeing Dexson arrive, Caroline immediately stood up and stared warily at him.

"What are you doing here? I already told Jack to end our marriage contract. We don't have any relationship now," Caroline said with a trembling voice. She also took a step back to distance herself from Dexson.

"Caroline, I don't care about that damn contract. But I won't let you leave me," said Dexson.

"I don't want to lose you. I love you," he continued as he pulled Caroline's body closer and hugged her tightly.

"Let go of me! Jack, get this man away from me. He's trying to touch me again," Caroline screamed hysterically as she tried to break free from Dexson's embrace.

"Honey. Don't be like this, I'm not lying. I love you so much," whispered Dexson, tightening his embrace.

"Go away! Don't touch me," Caroline screamed hysterically as she continued to try to break free from Dexson.

"Dexson, let her go! You could make her condition worse," Jack shouted.

After Jack regained consciousness, he immediately went to Caroline's hospital room. Jack ignored his pain because his employer's condition was far more important.

Because Dexson ignored his words, Jack pulled Dexson's body away forcefully so he could free Caroline.

"Don't interfere with me, Jack," Dexson warned, staring intently at Jack.

"I won't let you worsen Miss Caroline's condition," Jack growled.

Dexson looked at Caroline, then he dropped to his knees in front of her and hugged her legs tightly.

"I swear, I love you so much. I'm sorry if you think I made you my sex slave. I was stupid for not understanding you. God, I don't want to lose you," said Dexson. His voice sounded frustrated, hoping Caroline would give him a chance.

"I don't believe your words. If you don't think of me that way, why did you do that crazy thing while I was sleeping?" Caroline said, raising her voice slightly.

"Let me go! Jack, help me. I don't want to see his face anymore. I want to go back and see Mom and Dad right away," she continued.

Jack obeyed Caroline's orders, immediately pulling Dexson away from Caroline and punching him.

"I warned you not to bother me," Dexson said, glaring at Jack. His face was filled with emotion.

Dexson then punched Jack several times. On the face, stomach, and finally Dexson kicked Jack until he was helpless.

"Jack!" Caroline shouted, intending to help Jack, but Dexson immediately picked Caroline up.

"I won't let you go. We will live together," said Dexson as he carried Caroline away.

"Miss," Jack whispered as he tried to get up.

Kael immediately helped Jack and warned him not to provoke Dexson first.

"You'd better focus on treating your wounds. I guarantee Dexson won't hurt Caroline. If you keep forcing yourself to fight Dexson, I can guess that you will end up dying at his hands," explained Kael.

"Dexson is very difficult to control when he's like this. Let him resolve his issues with Caroline. If Dexson truly loves Caroline, he will prove it in every way possible so that Caroline believes him," he continued.

Jack just nodded his head. He didn't expect to be defeated so easily by Dexson.

"I'll call a doctor to treat your wounds," said Kael.

Caroline continued to cry hysterically, begging Dexson to let her go, but Dexson just remained silent and ignored Caroline.

Dexson took Caroline into the car. Earlier, Kael had ordered his men to find several cars and take her to this hospital.

"I don't want to stay with you. You'll only make me a woman who satisfies your desires," Caroline cried.

"I promise I won't do that to you if you don't allow it," replied Dexson, holding Caroline's hand.

Caroline immediately pushed Dexson's hand away, completely distrusting his words. She knew Dexson's desires were very strong, and she also remembered when Dexson had abused her while she was asleep.

"Don't talk nonsense, you won't be able to control yourself," Caroline growled.

"Besides, you can't protect me from Damian. Damian managed to enjoy my body. I don't need you anymore, Dexson. You're a useless man," she continued.

Caroline's words naturally hurt Dexson's feelings. "I know, I am useless and failed to protect you. I regret this too," Dexson said softly as he drove the car.

"Dexson! I don't want to live with you anymore," Caroline shouted.

"We will still live together, dear. I will prove to you that I love you very much," Dexson replied.

They had already arrived at Dexson's house. Dexson immediately carried Caroline into his house.

"You must be tired. I'll make you a delicious meal, and I'll also find you the best doctor," said Dexson as he kissed Caroline's forehead.

Caroline remained silent; she actually didn't have the energy to resist.

"I have to think of a strategy to escape from Dexson," Caroline said to herself.

Dexson slowly laid Caroline down. He also took off her coat.

"Don't ever think about escaping from me," Dexson said firmly.

Dexson then took a rope from his drawer.

"I'm sorry, but I'm going to tie you up for a while." Dexson then tied Caroline's hands to the side of the bed so that she couldn't escape while he cooked for her.

"What are you doing? You dare to tie me up. Do you think this doesn't hurt? Let me go, Dexson!" Caroline shouted.

"Just a moment, dear. After I finish cooking for you, I'll untie you. I promise," Dexson said, stroking Caroline's head.

Then Dexson went to the kitchen to cook. Dexson seemed tireless.

"Damn it! It turns out Dexson isn't the nice guy I thought he was," Caroline muttered.

"Dexson can defeat Jack easily, which means he's not an ordinary person. I want proof that Dexson really loves me or not?" she continued with a blank stare.

Dexson smiled slightly because he had successfully made Caroline's favorite food. Even though his stomach hurt and he felt hungry, Dexson ignored it because Caroline was his priority.

"Honey, look, I made your favorite food," said Dexson enthusiastically.

"I don't want to eat. I'd rather die," replied Caroline.

"I don't like you saying things like that, you're hurting my feelings," Dexson said with a sad expression.

"Fine. I'll give you a chance to prove whether you truly love me or not? And I ask you to always obey my orders," Caroline said, staring at Dexson. That, of course, made Dexson happy.
