|| LUCIUS's POV ||

" Your Highness!! Your slave flew off with the warrior dragon! SHE HAS STOLEN OUR WARRIOR DRAGON!"

The chief of the guard entered screaming, his face turning red in anger and fear. The court was in uproar for a moment. All stood up in anxiety as they waited for my anger. Tiara shouted furiously, her eyes blazing with fire,
" I TOLD YOU! She is a bitch. She must have come here to steal our treasure. Now look what happened!!"

Only I remained silent in astonishment. I didn't remember the warrior dragon accepting anyone's touch except mine. It was strange that the slave managed to manipulate it. My chief minister rose from his seat, anxiety dripping from his tone,
" Your Majesty!! What are you waiting for?? Get the dragon and kill the girl!"

I understood their concern. Losing the warrior dragon would make our kingdom weak. It wasn't just a dragon but a power to us. Tiara interjected, already leaving her seat without waiting for my approval,
" I will get her and kill her seven times until she has no bones left."

She headed to take the charge but I wanted to check it by myself. I roared at her back, turning their attention back to me,
" Do not dare to act boldly in front of your king, Tiara. The warrior dragon isn't something that you can tame just by a single touch. Only pure-blooded royalty has the power to tame him. Do you think that you can tame him just by appearing?"

Tiara's face morphed in anger, other ministers exchanged a dumbfounded look. One of them asked hesitantly, looking up at my serious expression,
" Then.. what are we gonna do? We just sit back and watch her fly with our dragon?"

I came down from my throne, and all the noisy ministers stopped blabbering. I spoke loudly to let them know my decision, my eyes darkening,
" I will go and find them. The warrior dragon will listen to me."

Tiara panicked, running over to me,
" No, you can't! She will kill you with the dragon."

I ignored her concern, already heading outside to get my dragon,
" If I can't handle a slave, I don't deserve to be a king."

|| MONICA's POV ||

" Aaaaahhhhh...fuck...."

I shouted with my heart out, staring at the black sky ahead. My brain went blank ever since the dragon caught me in his wings. It forced me to ride on him from the forest. Perhaps it wanted to find a space to kill me.

Panic swam through my heart. I hated being here but I didn't want to die so soon. What if my mate would come to find me one day? What if the moon goddess would grant us happiness one day?

I still dreamt of our happy future. Bending my head down, I tried to look at the ground. The dark villages and the roaring from the sea terrified me. I held my breath as the dragon flopped down in front of the sea. A startled gasp left my lips when the dragon became calm and waited for me patiently.

I blinked my eyes twice in surprise. Did it want me to go down safely?

Nervously I stretched one of my legs to get down, waiting to see the dragon's reaction. Just when I got off, it backed away from me, leaving me speechless with its obedience and serenity. I looked at the shore in front of me. The moon goddess was smiling in the sky and all of a sudden I forgot the humiliation that I had faced in the castle.

The dragon stayed calm on my left side. It didn't attack or act aggressively like before. I was amused by his concern for me. I enjoyed the little freedom that I got and smiled big at the sea. I always wanted to visit the sea but Diego always had his excuses. He thought that it was a shame to bring me everywhere.

I didn't know for how long I stood facing the enormous sea until another roar from the sky caught my attention. My head snapped behind to see the red dragon landing, a person riding on his back. The warrior dragon on my side rose aggressively, using his long tail to shield me from the uninvited guests.

King Lucius's handsome face glowed under the moonlight in rage. He sputtered with rage, striding at me,
" Woman...how dare you...."

Before I could say anything, the warrior dragon snarled at him, shocking me and King Lucius. It protected me even from King Lucius. King Lucius watched his dragon in shock, roaring at me,
" What the fuck did you do to my dragon?"

I answered truthfully, watching between him and the warrior dragon,
" I did nothing.. he... he took me up here.."

King Lucius clenched his jaw tight. He tried to approach me but another aggressive warning came from the warrior dragon. King Lucius narrowed his eyes at his warrior dragon. I didn't dare to move as his tail was already wrapping me around.

After a long thought, King Lucius tried to calm the dragon down, taking slow steps at me,
" Jada! I know, you want to protect her but... she is my slave. Let her come with me."

King Lucius already took a few steps at me. But nothing made Jada calm. He snarled at King Lucius again protectively. King Lucius stopped approaching me abruptly, his eyes blazing with unknown fear. He repeated his words to Jada, not giving up,
" Jada!! She is with me. LET HER GO!!"

Jada only narrowed his eyes further but didn't put his tail away from me. I grew frustrated over the situation. For the very first time, I felt that I would be safe with my enemy.

King Lucius tried to walk again but Jada roared louder than before. King Lucius paused abruptly and seemed to have eye contact with Jada. As if he had read Jada's thoughts, King Lucius growled in disbelief,
" You don't believe me with her? Huh? Jada, you are my fucking dragon."

I couldn't understand any of his words. It was better to follow him since I was new to dragons and their characteristics. When Jada refused to release me from his protective shield, King Lucius cursed under his breath and rushed at me all of sudden, his cold lips capturing mine.

I was blank and forgot to breathe or push him away. The tail was still protecting me but King Lucius couldn't care less. I tried to break the forced kiss but he warned me slowly,
" Follow me!!"

I didn't try to push him anymore and let him kiss me as much as he wanted. He slid his tongue inside my mouth and kissed me deeper, earning a low growl from my wolf. Surprisingly my wolf wasn't disgusted by his touch even though I was mated to someone else.

After a good while, King Lucius ended the kiss and looked Jada in the eyes, asking through his gritted teeth,
" Now do you believe that SHE IS MINE?"

I watched Jada in disbelief. It showed his long teeth but didn't attack anymore. Slowly it took his tail away from me. My cheeks had already turned pink in shame. King Lucius shot me a glare, pulling him with me,
" COME WITH ME!! "
