Chapter 95 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 95 Untitled Chapter
“And you took him to your room because your office is there, right?” I scoffed, sitting on the edge of the desk.

“Absolutely not, Alpha Amelia. It was just to show him some samples of the events I decorated back at the Dark Shadows sect. These are what I took him to the room to look at.”

She extended her hand, giving me a few photos. “I am sorry if what I did provoked you, Alpha Amelia. I never meant to do that. From today, I will be careful with whatever I do here,” she sniffled, cleaning the tears with the back of her hand.

So I have practically ruined everything because of jealousy. Now what? I won't get the surprise party again? I really messed up.

Now I feel so sorry for suspecting an innocent person. And I wish I could apologize to her, but I can't say the word out loud; she is a beta.

“You shouldn't have done that, Matilda. And you should know now that as my beta, you stick to me and not Hans. Okay?”

“Yes, Alpha Amelia, and I am so sorry for everything.”

Good for her. And now that I am done with her, Hans is next. He must also come to this office and say whatever he has to say, too.

“I heard you, Matilda. And this should be the last time you do this. The next time I see Hans in your room, or hear that he went inside your room, and find out that it was you who took him into the room, I will be forced to punish you severely. You know I can do that.”

“Of course, you can. You are the Alpha, and we are nothing but your subordinates who must follow you and carry out all your orders. If any of us does something that goes against your rule, you are fit to punish us without being questioned on why you did that.”

One thing I love about Matilda is the fact that she knows so many things. I am sure I won't regret making her my beta.

“Is there anything else you want me to do for you, Alpha Amelia? I can start my work today, you know.”

She could. However, the day is already coming to an end, and we could close in the next few minutes, so there is no need to give her any task today again; tomorrow will be best.

“Leave it,” I said, getting up. “And you can also leave now. If you like it, you can go to the packhouse and wait for me there, or go have fun and make friends inside the pack.”

Hans will be here at any time, and I don't want them to meet again. But unfortunately, they did meet at the door when Matilda was about to leave the office.

Luckily, she didn't look at him; she only bowed her head and hurried out.

Call me insecure, but I have to protect the love I have built in my heart. The way I love Hans, I never thought that I would ever love a man that way. And I wouldn't let the love slip by. He loves me too, so I must protect it.

“So you finally decided to show up,” I scoffed at him, crossing my hands. Hans raised a brow, surprisingly, walking towards the desk. “But I was here a few minutes ago,” he chuckled. “However, you didn't want to listen to me then because you were sure I was going to lie to you. Now that you have realized the truth and have used your power to summon me, then have a seat so we can talk about whatever you want us to talk about.”

Omg! He knows? I can't believe this. But how did Hans know that him coming to this office because I summoned him? This is serious. Does he have a power too, and was that why he found out?

“I am listening,” he broke out of my reverie.

I scoffed and sat on the sofa, looking at him. “I am listening, too!” I snapped, rolling my eyes. “Tell me what you were doing in Matilda’s room.”

“I can't tell you anything again because I'm sure Matilda must have told you the whole thing. She wouldn't let out a piece of information, so let’s drop it.”

“But I don't want to drop it; you must say it too, because I want to hear it from both of you. And if you don't want to say it, then fine! Apologize for ruining my day.”

Hans sighed deeply, shaking his head. He hasn't seen anything yet because I will keep on pushing him until he apologizes to me instead of me apologizing to him.

“You can call me whatever you want, Hans, but I will stand my ground until you apologize for laughing with another lady and even following her to her room.” I puckered, eyes fixed on him like I was going to burst into a cry anytime.

“Okay, I am so sorry, okay? For not laughing with you when I should, and for going to the packhouse with Matilda.”

Now I feel so good!

“But I am so disappointed in you, Amelia, dear.”

Like, seriously? \`Is he trying to ruin the moment or what?

“That you didn't believe me when I told you that Matilda and I weren't doing anything you were thinking of. You even said we kissed. How could you say that? There is no other woman in this kingdom who is as pretty as you and who is fit enough for me to kiss if not you. You know how much I love you, Amelia…”

“Then mark us already, you punk!” Amy snapped in my head and sprang on her paws. She was behaving as if Hans was seeing her, and I was so glad that no one else would hear others’ wolf; if not, there would be a lot of problems in this kingdom.

“Can you just keep it shut? Nobody asked for your opinion!” I shunned her. “Then do whatever you want to do; seduce him tonight, or get him drunk so we can make him mark us!”

Is that even going to work?
