Chapter 9 Protecting My Future Mate

Chapter 9 Protecting My Future Mate
~HANS MORGAN~

When I saw that dude inside the office, my heart fluttered, and I felt like I would lose Amelia to him. The way she was staring at him in amazement made my blood rage, and I wanted to kill Thane right there.

Kael and I lost control, and in just a second, we had grabbed his collar, but she stepped in the moment we gripped his neck.

He was lucky; we could have injured him for seducing our mate.

And worse, he brought files of strong, sexy men who would only make her lose interest in me.

Well, I am glad I sorted it out before things got out of hand.

Axel is perfect for that role; he isn't attractive, and Amelia won't look at him again.

“We did well, Hans, and I hate that guy, Thane,” Kael muttered.

Punch me, I hate that guy too.

“Maybe we should get rid of him.”

Geez! We can't do that. We should keep acting cool and not let anyone discover our real identity.

“Don't be a coward, Hans, let me out so they will know you aren't a weakling. You've been concealing our power for so long, and I fear it is consuming me.”

Ahhh! You must understand, Kael, we can't let them know yet. Why don't we pretend we are weak and keep protecting our mate?

I feel that she will fall into danger one day, and then we can reveal who we are to help her.

Thane growled frustratingly, and as he sank into my mind, his voice became like a whisper until it vanished.

Two days later, while Amelia was busy carrying out her duty in the Pack, I visited the Arkonix Pack to get the stuff I didn't take with me.

When I arrived at the Packhouse, it was already night, and the exact time Hams is always home.

I'd wanted to go straight to my room, take what brought me, and return to the Lunskye Pack without him seeing me.

However, a she-wolf staggered out of his room, tears on her face. Her hair was messy, and her dress had become a rag.

Her appearance alone made me understand what nonsense Hams was up to.

She ran past me, head low, sobbing softly.

As someone who hates seeing things like that, my blood rage, and I barged inside his room.

“Are you nuts!” My voice pierced into the walls, startling him and the she-wolf he was trying to rape.

I stomped towards the bed, grabbed the lady’s hand rapidly, and flung her out of the bed.

“Sorry about that, please go.” I threw a bed sheet over her body and pointed towards the door.

She bowed her head low, covered her body, and staggered out of the room.

“What was that, Hans? Who said you could barge into my room to do whatever you like?”

Hams leapt forward in his wolf form, his powerful legs propelling him towards me.

I dodged his attack, but landed flat on my back.

“Were you a rapist, Hams? Those girls are servants who don't deserve this stupid act. If you can't control your stupid wolf to stop sniffing women, then get a fucking mate!”

I shouted, getting up from the floor.

Hams’ wolf, Kairos, howled at me, piercing his red, monstrous eyes into mine.

“Allow me to take over, Hans, this is my fight!”

Kael growled, snapping his jaw in anger. But no, not now. Hams mustn't know of my strength yet. It will be a bloody day if I allow Kael to take control.

He will overtake Kairos’ power and will end up killing my twin brother.

Wap!

Kairos's claws sank into my cheek the moment he slapped me across the face.

“Let me avenge!”

Kael screamed as Kairos jumped on me, positioning his hands on my chest.

I know how to pull Hams’ button, so I stared deep into Kairos’ eyes until I saw Hams breathing flame.

“Are you a coward, Hams? You can't fight alone, but let your wolf do the right?” I scoffed at him, then continued. “You call me a weakling yet, you are one!”

Kairos howled angrily, bounced back, and Hams returned to his form.

I spat out the blood in my mouth, wiped the stain on my lips, and got up on my feet.

“I am not like you, Hans, you can't even let out your Wolfe, you guys are just cowards!”

Eish! We aren't. And Hams will regret this statement when I finally let Kael out.

“And what brought you here, coward? Has she dumped you? If that is the case, you should get out of this Pack, this is no place for cowards!” He commanded, turning his back on me.

“Amelia won't dump me because she and I have pure love. I don't want to take over her Pack and enslave her just like you.”

He cracked up, holding his tummy as if what I said was funny.

“Amelia will soon dump you, dude. She is only after that position, and now that she has gotten it, you are merely a vessel in her eyes. One day, she will dump you and disgrace you, then send you out of that Pack.”

What nonsense! As if that is going to happen.

“Amelia is a sweet girl, Hams. You are only jealous that you're not the one she married. And oh, she fuck so well.”

Hams’ fingers clenched into a fist, and he bit his lower lip angrily.

“And get this into your head, Hams, stop raping those girls! Get a mate, okay? Maybe you should go for the omega, they are a replica of you.”

I turned to leave, but he halted me with his stupid words.

“When I come into the Lunskye Pack, I will rape Amelia in front of you, and there is nothing you will do about it.”

What nonsense!

“If you dare lay your finger on my Mate, you will regret it, Hams. You'd better stay here, nursing your wound for losing a gem.”

He laughed at my warning, but I care not. If he tries any shit with Amelia, then I won't be left with any choice but to let Kael out.
