Chapter 73 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 73 Untitled Chapter
I quickly lowered my head, hiding my trembling hands behind me.

Has Casper recognized me? Now I am doomed! I thought he wouldn't identify me because of my disguise.

My face was painted in pale powder, my eyes had fake contact lenses, and my hair was red, making it difficult for me to recognize myself in the mirror.

“Who is this?” he pointed, and all eyes turned towards me.

“Her name is Amelia, Leader.”

Damn it! I should have changed my name too, not my surname alone. Now I have made a great mistake.

“Amelia?” He stepped forward, held my chin, and lifted my head.

“Amelia Kyle, leader.” The butler repeated, sounding confused.

Casper stared at me for a while, searching for what he would never see in my face, and shockingly, his lips curled into a smile, and he released my chin.

“Where did you find a pretty girl like this?”

Uhn? Did I hear him well?

“She is so beautiful, butler. And she has the perfect body I need in a woman.”

Omg! He doesn't recognize me! Thank you, goddess!

“This is the first time Wood is sending in pretty girls, especially this one. He pointed at me and returned to the throne.

Gosh! What a pervert! Casper was a nice man; he acted like the old man he was, not what he is doing now.

Surprisingly, he doesn't even look as old as he was when he was still in the Lunskye pack; he looks so young now, and he walks like a strong lad.

What must he have taken that changed him into a youth? Well, he has a lot of dark magic mixed with his blood, so that must be why he looks young. Also, he reeked of evil when he was standing in front of me, and it nearly suffocated me.

“Take them to the chamber to freshen up. When the guests arrive, you bring them back.”

When others bowed to him, I didn't, because I couldn't. I was not born to bow; I was born to stand straight. And luckily, Casper didn't see me, nor did the rest.

“We are finally here, Amelia. And later, we shall destroy this sect. All we need to do is figure out how to do it.” Amy giggled.

That is going to be easy. When we are taken to their rooms later, I will use the opportunity to get rid of him.

“That is a wonderful idea; may the moon goddess guide you,” the voice in my head said and went mute again.

I didn't call it back, because I know it won't say anything. It only speaks once, then goes silent for hours.

“Here is your room, ladies. Go inside, freshen up, and change into the dresses stacked neatly inside the closet. When the guests arrive, I will

Come get you.”

He left, and we entered the room.

Casper is an idiot. He didn't stop at the surroundings of the house, nor the living room, nor the throne; he made all the rooms the same as those in the Packhouse. Even the furniture is the same. And no one has to tell me that his room will be the same as that of my parents: the room I currently live in with Hans.

“Hey, watch where you are going, lady!” I snapped at the lady who had stepped on my feet.

“No, you watch where you put the log of wood.”

“Excuse me?” I held her shirt from the neck and pulled her back. “Repeat that nonsense you just said.”

“I said you should watch where you put the log of wood you call a leg!”

Wow! The audacity!

“My leg isn't a log of wood, and be careful with me or else…”

“Have me killed?” She hissed loudly, “You already have a boyfriend here, so getting me killed wouldn't be so hard for you.”

As if they were waiting for her to say that, the rest burst into laughter.

I grabbed her neck between my hands, pressing it tightly as anger swirled in my heart.

“No, I will kill you by myself!” I lifted my right hand and slapped her so hard on the face, sending her to the floor.

“What nonsense are you doing, Amelia?” Others shouted, running towards us to save the lady.

I wanted to snap my fingers to teach them a lesson too, but Amy stamped on my chest, jerking me back to my senses.

“Stay away from me while we are here!” I snapped and stormed inside the bathroom.

When I stepped out of the bathroom later, they were seated on the bed, but as soon as I sat on it, they sprang up as if they were stung by an insect.

“What are you up to now?” I glared, snarling at them. “N…nothing,” one of them stuttered, while the rest went to sit on the sofa.

“They are scared of you, Amelia,” Amy laughed, her voice echoing in my ears like a melody.

Wow! I love it! Now they will know who the leader is among them. Dealing with them wasn't that hard.

Now that I have the bed to myself, I lie on my back, spread my arms, and shut my eyes with mischief glinting on my face.

From where they sat, I heard them whispering to each other, but luckily for them, they weren't talking about me. They were discussing what the chauffeur said earlier.

They should blame themselves for writing their names on Mr. Wood’s list. If they hadn't, they would have been with their families now, having their last moment together. Sighs.

A few minutes later, a knock came on the door. And as if they were waiting for that, two of them scurried towards the door and opened it.

“The guests are here; come out now.”

Whoa! Finally!

“The time has come, Amy,” I chuckled, getting out of bed, picking up my phone, and dropping it inside my mini handbag.

“Lead the way, Mr. Butler.” He smiled and winked at me, a nd as I walked behind him, the ladies followed suit.

Right from the stairs, I could hear Casper and the guests’ laughter, which was echoing in the entire building. However, one voice sounded so familiar, and as soon as I stepped down the last stairs and saw him, a gasp escaped my lips.

“Hams?”
