Chapter 126 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 126 Untitled Chapter
“Oh yes, you did, but that was too late, and I need you to understand that that isn't how things are done in this pack. You cannot sign a contract agreeing to so many rules and try to implement your own rule without informing me first. Do not repeat that again, Sabrina. This should be the first and the last time you do it.”

I drew back my chair and got up.

“This is slavery!” she mouthed, picking up the fork again.

“Whatever!” I shrugged my shoulders and walked away.

The next morning at the company, I made sure Sabrina went to the meeting hall with me before the secretary sent the message to the shareholders to come.

I wanted them to come to the meeting hall and meet Sabrina there so that she wouldn't waste our time that day again.

“When are they showing up?” Sabrina was so impatient. “I am so bored. I want to step out and receive fresh air,” she said, stamping her feet on the floor.

I signaled to the secretary who was standing beside me, and she nodded her head. She went to the windows, slid them open, and let the fresh breeze come into the hall. But that didn't satisfy Sabrina; she wanted to step out of the meeting hall so that she could waste our time again.

“Can you excuse me? I need to use the restroom.”

She picked up her phone, got up, and hurried towards the door before I could say anything. And at the door, Sabrina bumped into one of the shareholders who was coming in. Even though she was at fault and she should be apologizing to the man because he was old enough to be her father, Sabrina looked him dead in the eyes and yelled at him.

“Watch it, old hag! Can't you see that I was coming?”

He gasped, staring at Sabrina confusingly.

“Next time, do not walk with your eyes behind you; put them in front of you so that you will see whoever is coming.” She smirked and stormed out of the meeting hall, slamming the door shut.

“Alpha Amelia?” the man bowed his head

“Forget about Sabrina; she is a teenager.”

He nodded his head and sat in one of the chairs.

Four minutes later, all the shareholders were gathered in the meeting hall, and Sabrina was the one we were waiting for. She said she was going to use the restroom, so I had no idea why she was taking that long to return. Was she trying to embarrass me today again?

“Can you go to the restroom and see what Sabrina is doing there?” I asked the secretary and as she was about to leave the hall, Sabrina walked in.

“What took you so long?” I asked, but she ignored me and took a seat in one of the chairs.

“You guys can start the meeting. She crossed her hands and her legs, staring at everyone as if they were her slaves.”

“Don't you think you should apologize for keeping us waiting?” one of the men said. Sabrina glared at him and scoffed.

“And who do you think you are to tell me what to do?”

Wow! A gasp broke out from them.

“Who is this young lady who doesn't know how to respect her elders?” "What?" one of the men asked, looking at Sabrina in bewilderment. “Is she the lady you were talking about yesterday, Alpha Amelia?”

“Yes, she is.” I sighed, slouching in the chair.

“What did you guys talk about me yesterday?” Sabrina asked, and then she turned towards me. “Did you by any chance lie about me? I hate it when I am being gossiped about, Amelia.”

“Amelia?” The men gasped in confusion. “Why would you call her Amelia straightforward? She is the alpha of this pack.”

“So fucking what! She is your alpha, not mine.”

Oh, my goodness. What have I brought upon myself?

“alpha Amelia, why is she talking this way? She needs to be punished for saying this shit about you.”

“Forget her.” I waved at them. “She is just a little girl, but I assure you she will come back to her senses when I am done with her.”

They understood what I said, so they started smiling mischievously.

“There is nothing you will do to me, Amelia.” Sabrina snapped, but I ignored her, and we started the meeting.

“Can we start now, Alpha Amelia?” one of the men asked, and I bopped my head.

Oh yes, they can start. I cleared my throat and then pointed at Sabrina. “Everyone, meet Sabrina. She came to this pack yesterday, and her father, the beta of the Moonlight Pack, pleaded that we give her a place in this prestigious pack so that she would learn a lot of things from us.”

“What are you talking about?” She interrupted me, “I only came here to invest and not be a part of this pack.”

“And that is because your father spoke with Hans and pleaded we give you a place here. So can you now keep quiet and allow me to round up what I am saying?”

Sabrina gasped, staring at me in anger. “I won't sit here and watch you humiliate me this way. This is an insult!”

“If you dare get up from that chair, Sabrina, I will show you who the boss is right here.”

The threatening got into her head, so she sat down.

“Sabrina has a huge share in this company. Everyone, please welcome her.”

As though she was waiting for me to mention that, she got up, tossing her hair backward. “So from now on, you guys must respect me because I have the right to decide who stays in this company and who leaves.”

The men exchanged glances, shaking their heads in concern.

“Alpha Amelia? Are you sure this is a good idea? This young lady doesn't know what she is talking about.”

I signaled to them to keep quiet, and they did.

“Sabrina, sit down!” I commanded, and she sat down. “Just because you have the biggest share in this company doesn't mean you have control over anyone. Understand? The only one who has the full authority over everyone in this company is me; get that into your head.”
