Chapter 124 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 124 Untitled Chapter
“Your cousin is a headache.” I exhaled, sitting down on the chair.

Hans chuckled softly, putting his phone aside. He locked his fingers, looking at me.

“You have to be patient with Sabrina since you don't want me to take her back to her father.”

“Oh, yes, I will be more patient with her, and just as I said to you earlier, Sabrina is just like a little sister to me.”

Hans nodded his head and then got up from the sofa.

“Well, you chose that, so good luck with it.” He shrugged his shoulders. “That aside, I am planning on visiting the Arkonix pack today.” He slowly slid his hands into his pockets.

“The Arkonix pack?”

Why would he go to that pack? I thought he and his twin brother had an agreement that Hans would not set foot in that pack again.

“Is there anything you are going to do there that is important?” He nodded his head. “Yes. I need to retrieve some of the things that I left there. You know, I was in such a hurry to move into this shack with you when we got married that I didn't pick up the whole thing.”

That was surprising. I thought Hans got back everything when he went back to the pack a few months ago. Well, I don't know the actual thing he wanted to go back there to do; maybe it is related to Sabrina or whatever.

“Okay then,” I smiled at him. “When you reach the pack, please be careful with Hams; you know how dangerous he is.” Hans nodded his head, chuckling softly. “I know. Hams is my brother, and I know how to handle him. You don't have to worry about it, okay?”

I got up from the chair and hugged him.

A few minutes later, Hans left the office.

How I wish I could stop him from going to that pack, but I am not in the rightful position to do that.

The Arkonix pack is his home, and no matter what, he must go back there from time to time. Even if that stupid jerk tries to stop him from going there, I know Hans will never stop going to that pack.

“Alpha Amelia? you called.” The secretary bowed her head. “Yes. I want you to send a message across to all the shareholders of this company and tell them we have an important meeting in the next 30 minutes.”

“Alright, Alpha Amelia I will do just that.” She bowed her head again, and as she turned towards the door to leave the office, I called her back.

“When you are done sending messages to them, go to Sabrina's office and tell her to get ready for the meeting.”

30 minutes later, I was inside the meeting hall with the shareholders. However, Sabrina hasn't shown up. That was so confusing. Didn't the secretary pass my message to her? Or is Sabrina just trying to provoke me again?

“alpha Amelia, we have been sitting here for the past 20 minutes. Don't you think we should start the meeting already?”

one of the shareholders suggested, stealing a glance at his wristwatch. It seemed they had something important to do apart from that meeting, and Sabrina was wasting their time. Also, there was no way I would start the meeting without her. She was the main reason why I called for the meeting.

“Can you guys give me more minutes, please? Sabrina will be here, and we will start the meeting.”

They couldn't argue with me even though they wanted to because they were afraid of provoking me.

Another 10 minutes passed by, yet Sabrina didn't show up, and that was when it dawned on me that Sabrina was doing that on purpose.

I picked up my phone and called the secretary to come into the meeting hall.

“What is Sabrina still doing in her office? Doesn't she know that everyone here has one or two things to attend to?”

“I called her, Alpha Amelia, and she told me she was on her way.”

“Then go back to her office and tell her to drag her butt into this hall right now. Tell her if she doesn't come in three seconds, I will go to her office and drag her here.”

The secretary hurried out of the meeting hall, and a few minutes later she returned looking so worried.

“Alpha Amelia, Sabrina isn’t in her office.”

What! Not in her office? Where on earth did she go to?

“I checked everywhere, including the marketing department closer to her office, but she wasn't there.”

Sabrina wouldn't go to the marketing department or any of the departments in the company. I am sure she isn't even inside this company.

“Go back there and search everywhere. I want her here as soon as possible.”

The secretary left again, and as I picked up my phone to dial Sabrina's number, I remembered I hadn't exchanged contact with her.

“Alpha Amelia, do you think this meeting is still going to hold?”

One of the shareholders asked again. They were all growing impatient, and I had no choice but to call off the meeting since Sabrina had decided to humiliate me this way.

“Fine, you guys can go ahead with your activities when she comes back; I will have the secretary send you guys messages.”

They bowed their heads and hurried out of the hall as if they were already late for their next meeting.

Anger gushed inside my mind, causing my fingers to clench into a fist.

How could Sabrina embarrass me this way? This girl doesn't know the weight of what she is doing, and I swear I must punish her for this nonsense she did. How dare she! I clearly told her to stay in that office and wait for my call because I was going to hold a meeting to introduce her to the other shareholders, but she decided to embarrass me this way?

“Amelia?” Amy called, “Sabrina isn't in this company.”
