I sighed deeply.
"Ignore her, Hans," I said, getting up from the bed. “Leave Sabrina alone. Just as you said, she is a teenager, and they tend to act this way. I understand, and I will do all I can to let her know her mistakes.”
Hans lifted a brow in confusion. “Have you forgiven her already?” he asked. “Of course, Sabrina is your cousin, and she is just like a little sister to me, so I have to overlook the things she will do to me.”
I was sure that deep inside his heart he knew I was only acting.
“Now we should get ready to leave for the company. You know today is the day Sabrina would sign the contract to start working in my company.”
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Hans asked, getting out of the bed.
“Of course it is. Have you forgotten her dad chose this pack to send her to because he knew she would get a lot of discipline here, so do not worry, I will handle everything.”
A few minutes later, Hans and I were already dressed up and ready to leave the packhouse. However, when we stepped down the stairs, Sabrina wasn't in the dining area or the living room.
“Where is Sabrina?” I asked one of the omegas who was cleaning the TV stand. “She hasn't come down the stairs.”
That was so surprising. Sabrina got the dress from our room an hour ago, and she should be ready and waiting for us in the living room. Maybe the maid didn't see her come down the stairs.
As we were still talking to her, we were interrupted by Sabrina's voice. We turned towards the stairs, and she was walking down majestically in long-heeled shoes, wearing my dress, and speaking on the phone.
“OMG girl, you should see me right now. I am definitely flexing in this pack.” She swayed her hair backward like a beauty queen, which she isn't. “Oh yes, Amelia is so nice.”
What now? telling her friends that I am nice while she is bitching about me, right?
“Oh, you girls should see my cousin; he is fucking hot. Seriously, didn't I tell you guys that Hans is the cutest dude I have ever come across?” She giggled, rolling her eyes at me with a smirk on her face. “Girl, we will talk later. I have to get to the company with Hans right now.”
She disconnected the call, dropped the phone inside her bag, and placed her hand on the railing, walking down majestically.
“Hans, how do I look?” She asked, turning 360 in front of us. “Doesn't this dress suit me more than the owner of it?” She stole a glance at me.
Sabrina was only looking for a way to provoke me again, but I had no time for that. I have already planned so many things to do for Sabrina today, and she will never slip out of my hand without getting all of those things.
“Let's go.” Hans said, ignoring her. As soon as Hans held my hand, Sabrina pulled Hans's hand away from me and locked her arms with his.
“Allow me to walk with my cousin Amelia. You already have enough of him, so allow me to be with my cousin for the little time I will be in this pack.”
I didn't say a word; I only smiled and nodded at her. Even Hans was surprised by my reaction, but he also didn't say a word.
‘Wow! This is huge!” she exclaimed, scanning the company building.
“Wait until you get inside, Sabrina; you will be much more wowed than this.”
“Showing off, Amelia.” She scoffed, “You don’t have to brag about your company, okay?”
Well, I felt embarrassed. My fault was talking about the company. Sighs.
we got into my office I didn't waste any more time; I pulled out the drawer and brought out a document that I had made the secretary print out yesterday. I dropped it on the desk and pointed at it, looking at Sabrina.
“This is the contract between us. I want you to sign it.” She raised a brow in confusion. “What contract are you talking about?” she asked, sitting on the sofa beside Hans.
“You want to work in this company as one of the shareholders. correct?” She nodded her head. “So yesterday I communicated with the secretary and told her to print out the contract. Do you want to go over the rules first before signing?”
She rolled her eyes and turned to Hans. “Do you think I should go over the rules?” she asked him.
Sabrina is indeed a dumb girl. She wants to hear someone's opinion before signing the contract?”
Jeez! What kind of girl is she?
“You want to be a part of our company, so why don’t you sign the contract before Amelia changes her mind?”
“Okay then, I will sign it because Hans said it.”
She stood up and walked towards the desk.
“Give me the pen.” She commanded, and I crossed my arms, looking at her.
“The pen is right there. Pick it up and sign the document.”
she hissed at me picked up the pen, and without checking the contents of the document, she signed it. After she was done, she dropped the pen on the desk and then pulled the document towards me.
“You should have gone through it, Sabrina.” I said, picking up the document.
“There is no need, Amelia,” she snapped.
“Point of correction, it is Alpha Amelia. If you want to work in this company, it means you will be under me, and whoever is under me must respect me. Get that in your skull.”
“And what if I don’t want to call you Alpha Amelia? What would you do?”
You must call her Alpha Amelia because she is the leader of this pack.” Hans said from where he sat.
“I will not call her that, Hans. Have you ever seen me calling you an alpha?”
Oh, goddess, please give me more patience to handle Sabrina's rudeness.
“If I won’t call my cousins by their title, then I will never call you that. I can only call your name, and if you like, you can answer me, and if you don't like it, don't answer me. that is left for you, okay?”
I sighed, putting down the document.
“First, let us drop this conversation and proceed to a professional one.”
