Chapter 116 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 116 Untitled Chapter
AMELIA BROOK

“Absolutely not, Alpha Amelia. I will never do that.”

Can she just do away with the pretense?

“What can you say about this?”

I pulled out Hans’ phone from my pocket and waved it in her face.

“What can you say about this video?”

Her eyes snapped wide in shock as soon as she saw the video of her unleashing her power and realized that she was a demon.

“That…” She staggered back, pointing at the phone with a trembling finger.

“Your secret!” I snapped, returning the phone.

“How could you, Matilda? I trusted you so much, more than I trust anyone closer to me. I took you as the sister I never had, but I was a fool to have done that.”

It was so unfortunate that Matilda had been a demon all this time. But how? Why didn't I perceive the demon scent from her?

“Okay,” she scoffed, standing up straight. “Now that you have figured out who I am, there is nothing to be scared of.”

Wow!

“Yes, Amelia, I was sent here to kill you. And right now, it is what I will do!”

Oh snap!

She would make the biggest mistake of her life.

Matilda waved her hands, nails sprouting out of her fingers. Her face turned dark, and a white line appeared on her left chin.

“You will die today, Amelia!” she thundered, lunging towards me.

As she flinched towards me, I stepped aside, causing her to crash into the wall.

The wall shattered, burying her.

Matilda shrieked in rage, burst out of the dirt, and unfortunately, she couldn't get to me as I used that opportunity to throw her against the wall.

I pinned her there, holding her in place with my power.

“Let go of me!” she screamed, breathing so hard.

“Get a hold of yourself, girl. Even if I release you, there is nothing you can do to me. Have you forgotten who I am? I control demons!”

“No, you can't control us. Let me go before the demon king appears and kills you!”

“Let's see who will end up dying between the demon king and me! But first, you will die for betraying me!”

Bang!

I shot a fog at her, and blood started gushing out of her mouth. Matilda’s face turned pale instantly as black smoke burst out of her body. And just like a paper, she rolled down the wall and fell flat on the floor.

My heart sank when I realized that Matilda was dead and that she was killed by me.

But was it my fault? Absolutely not. She was the one who betrayed me, and I had to do what I did to protect myself.

“Hahahaha, well done!”

A loud, horrible voice that could block one’s ears echoed in the room. I kept turning around like an idiot, trying to locate the direction the voice was coming from.

Then it appeared. A huge, dark smoke.

“Oh, you are finally here,” I scoffed when I realized who it was. “I was about to summon you and show you what I did to the fool you sent to get rid of me.”

He didn't stop laughing; it only increased.

“You are the fool, Amelia. You didn't kill my demons; you only wasted your time.”

What nonsense is he talking about?

“Didn't you see the smoke that burst out of her when you threw the fog at her?”

“Yes.”

“That was my demon. Also, you didn't kill Matilda. Atilda has long been dead!”

What!

No, I don't believe that.

“Are you saying Matilda was a walking corpse?”

“You got it right, Amelia. Matilda died in the dark shadows sect. She was the lady who was floating in the bathtub.”

Ahh!

“I was the one who killed her and transferred one of my trusted demons into her body. I thought you would be smart enough to figure it out, but you didn't. And that aloe convinced me that you aren't fit enough to be a leader of a pack.”

How dare he make a fool out of me? How dare he!

“Nobody messes with me and goes scot-free!”

I snapped my fingers, glaring at him. “Now it is your turn to die too!”

“Little puppet, do not waste your time over me. Right now, your pack members are dying one after the other.”

As soon as he said that, my fingers dropped.

“What are you talking about?”

“Do you think I came alone? Hello, Amelia. I came with all the demons in my realm to wipe out your pack. And when I am done here, another pack is next. Look at this.”

He waved his huge hand, showing the full view of my pack.

And just as he had said, the demons were attacking my pack members; they were killing them one after the other.

“What will you do now, Amelia?”

He laughed evilly as tears streamed down my face.

“There is nothing more to do other than to surrender!”

No, this can't happen. I promised to protect them no matter what. I vowed to keep them safe when I ascended the throne.

I wanted to rule this pack the way my father did when he was alive. This isn't the kind of leader I wanted to be.

“Surrender, Amelia!”

His laughter echoed in my ears.

“Amelia, watch out!”

Amy shouted, shoving me aside.

The dark fog the demon king threw hit the door and broke it down.

“No, I cannot surrender to a lowly creature like you. Werewolves are above you in all aspects. We are stronger than you. That is why for years, your kind have been trying to wipe us off the kingdom. Unfortunately, you can never succeed, and right now, I am going to kill you!”

Going out there to fight the demons was a waste of time. The demon king was right there in front of me, and he was the core holding them all together. With the demon king gone, all the demons will lose their powers and die.

“When you get back to hell, tell your ancestors that you didn't succeed in wiping us out either. Warn the future generation of your kind to come also. Tell them not to come down here because if they do, they will end up like you!”
