Olivia's P.O.V:
I and Erik both were walking to my room.
Alex, Benjamin and Lucas are with others as they were talking with the warriors and other people. They'll also need to go to the training centre as they need to train the warriors.
Erik will also join them after about an hour.
"Hmmm, So, tell me. When did you decide to forgive them?" Erik asked?
"After the rouge attack, they apologized for what they did again and again. They looked genuine to me and the mate bond didn't let me reject their apology." I chuckled at the last part.
"Olivia, I exactly don't know what they did after they found that you were their mate, all they told me was they did something bad and they will regret it for their whole life. I didn't ask them anything more so can you please tell me what they actually did?" Erik asked.
I know Erik would be extremely mad after this but I've no other option. I've to tell him the truth.
He's like my family to me.
He has the right to know.
Should I tell him or not?
"Olivia.." Erik touched my head making me snap out of my thoughts.
"Uh-sorry I was lost in thoughts." I nervously laughed.
"Don't be worried, Olivia. Just tell me. I won't fight or ask them anything. I promise." Erik smiled making me sigh in relief.
"Promise me you won't be mad at me for forgiving them." I said and offered my hand.
"Promise." Erik put his hand on mine.
" well..that night after coming from my first shift....." I continued.
Time skip...
I told Erik every single thing.
"This is everything that happened." I sighed.
Erik's expression soften and he pulled me in a hug.
" I'm so sorry, I wasn't here when you needed me the most. I'm so sorry Olivia." Erik said in a low voice.
I knew he was crying.
"It's okay Erik, it's not your fault at all." I patted his back.
"But still, I should have thought about the possibilities of Triplets being you mates. How could this escape my mind" Erik said breaking the hug?
"Erik, even I didn't think that they would turn out to be my mates. I never thought that the prayer I made when I was a child will come true." I wiped Erik's tears.
"But.." Erik couldn't complete as I cut him off.
"No buts, Erik. It's not your fault. " I said caressing his cheeks.
"I'm sorry Olivia." Erik again Apologized.
"It's okay. And now stop crying. You don't look at all. What will others say if they saw their beta crying like a baby?" I laughed making Erik frown.
"You're cute. " I laughed and pinched his cheek.
Erik chuckled and wiped his tears.
"I love you. Little Olive." Erik pulled me in a big hug.
"I love you too." I hugged him back.
After a moment Erik broke the hug softly.
"Are you happy with them now?" Erik asked with a smile.
I was happy with them.
I'm actually the happiest now.
Their company means a lot to me.
And most importantly I love them. And anyone would definitely be happy to be with their mates.
"Yes." I said with a smile and Erik's smile went bigger.
"If you're happy then everything is fine." Erik said.
"But Erik , do you think that I made the right decision by giving them a chance?" I asked.
No matter how happy I'm with them now but still the question makes me anxious.
Did I actually make the right decision by forgiving them so easily?
Because what they did, leave so many deep wounds inside me and some are so deep that I don't even know if they'll ever heal or not.
They are trying their best to repent for their mistake, fix everything and they indeed fixed a lot of things but I can't be sure about my decision that it's right or not.
"You did the right thing, Olivia," Erik said making me surprised.
I thought his answer would be different.
"It wasn't their fault exactly. most Importantly they were filled with hatred and when someone is filled with hatred they lose the ability to identify the right and wrong." Erik said.
"So you think what I did was right?" I asked smiling.
Erik kind of cleared my doubt but I still needed his confirmation again.
"Absolutely right. They love you and they are your mates. They regret a lot for what they did. They are truly sorry and they are more guilty than anyone could ever think. I saw the sadness in their eyes on the table today. They definitely deserved a chance and I'm sure they'll make it up to you." Erik smiled.
"You don't know what a big weight you just lifted from my mind. Thank you so much." I jumped in happiness and hugged him.
"You're welcome." Erik chuckled and kissed my head.
Then we talked a lot while walking to my room.
About the pack,about the war preparations and Erik also told me about the possibilities of us losing the attack which made me a little afraid as I don't want my pack members to be hurt but then Erik told me that we will also get support from a few other packs. They are going to send their strongest members which gave a little relief.
I just hope that we will win the fight.
Erik went to join them in the training centre after walking me to my room.
It felt good to talk to him.
He was a brother and also a good friend.
He cleared so many doubts of mine in just a few minutes.
I hope I'll be able to forget the bad memories.
I'll try my best.
