22⁰ The Kiss part 2

Spring Kingdom

Bella

Starting first with the food, to order the coachman to take it to the palace.

- Let's go to the cloth store," said Camilla.

We followed, as I didn't know the way, and she went ahead. Already in front of the residence the bright colors draw the attention of those who pass nearby.

-This is it," she said entering.

I entered immediately looking at the various beautiful fabrics, while Camilla chose some I took the opportunity to pick those that most caught my attention to put in my room, since it is dark the environment, who knows, cheerful colors change the climate allowing me to breathe correctly in that room.

Then we went to another establishment of beautiful dresses and another too vulgar for a queen to wear. I chose five new dresses for myself, I am tired of walking.

- Camila let's rest for a while. -I've lost.

- I said, "It's almost over, there's only one more place to go.

You go and I'll stay here, enjoying these mouth-watering dishes.

The rest of the afternoon was amazing with Camilla while we shopped for about three hours, then returned to the castle unfortunately for me.

I went straight to my room when I arrived, I had decided to go back to the Winter Kingdom again. I am getting ready, I don't know what excuse you will give me when I arrive at the table for dinner. As I finished getting ready, I heard a knock at the door.

-You may come in. - I called out to see who it was.

- Bella, everyone is waiting for you for dinner. - said Esmeralda, with her usual smile. She never seems to be sad, even though she lost her parents in an accident and no longer has any family.

- Tell everyone I am sorry to keep them waiting, but tell them I am not feeling well and that I will rest. I don't want to be disturbed by anyone. - I said, going to bed, followed by Esmeralda's gaze.

-Do you need anything? -she asked, worried.

- No need, it's just a passing discomfort, don't worry, you can go quietly. - I said, hoping that she didn't want to stay with me, as she always does when I get sick or when I seem to want to get sick. We are like sisters, always worried about each other.

- Okay, if you need me, just call me. - she said, leaving my room.

It has been fifteen minutes since I arrived at the border, I passed the guards walking faster towards the tree. Thank goodness that the king is not here to bother me.

- Look who is back, the thieving queen.

I was startled and my heart leapt into my mouth. I turned around slowly to see who the demon was, even though I already knew who it was. Nobody calls me a thief except the devil in the crown. Completely facing away, I look at King Cassian, seeing that my prayer was not answered. Next time, I will play black magic.

- To be here again, I suppose you will give me what I asked for in exchange for the flower, am I right? - he asked, stepping closer.

I don't believe I will, but it will only be a one-time thing, and never again.

- Yes, but make it clear that it's just a kiss and nothing more. -I said with unusual nervousness. I'm already regretting it.

- That's enough for me. -he said, looking at me in a way I'd never been looked at before.

Cassian came closer to me, each step he took forward and I took one back, until there was nowhere left to go and my back was already against the tree. The hairs on my body bristled when I felt his hand on my waist.

I was afraid when his body clung to mine, leaving no space between us. He pulled my hair away from my neck and kept kissing and biting my ear, at which point my heart skipped a beat, my legs weakened. I don't know what is happening to my body, I froze when I felt his breath close to my mouth. Then, without warning, he kissed me fiercely, his tongue asked for passage and without knowing what to do, I asked him. I grabbed his hair as he was doing to me, his hand before on my waist was now on my thigh, under my dress. In a rush of no warning, he lifted me up, causing me to cling to him tighter, wrapping my legs around his waist.

I didn't know what was happening between us, but I knew that I wanted so much more. But reality always comes, bringing us breathlessness, making the kiss end. I climbed down from his lap, fastened my dress without looking at him, not having the courage, as I let myself be enveloped by the kiss easily. Looking up, I found his eyes on me, appraising me from top to bottom. I took a deep breath, building up the courage to speak.

- You got what you wanted, now you have to keep your word. I want my flower. -I said, with the posture a queen should have.

- Is that all you're going to say? -he asked, looking as if he didn't believe my words.

- Yes, that's it. - I said, without showing any nervousness, even though I was nervous.

-That's right. Here is your flower, but just answer me this one more question: why is this flower so important to you? - she asked, truly showing curiosity.

- This flower is the same as the one in my grandmother's drawing that she gave me when I was a little girl. It means a lot to me. -I said sadly, because I don't have my grandmother with me anymore. I don't remember much about her, but the little I do remember makes me want to be just like her: a determined woman! Ahead of her time, even without her mother, my great-grandmother, close by, she faced everything to have her opinion heard, so much so that in her old age she was called crazy for saying that her mother was alive in another unknown kingdom.

With the flower in my hand, I left there never to return, never looking back at what happened in the past, with the emotions I felt with that kiss.
